If you have a Primark near you, run don’t walk! They have the cutest Disney Pajamas, and they are all under $12.00 a pair! They have all kinds of characters, and come in a variety of styles too!
Primark Disney Pajamas
Who doesn’t love cozy Disney jammies? I love that not only are they super affordable at Primark, but you also have a wide variety of characters to choose from. They are always adding new character designs, I spot new ones almost every visit. There is always a Mickey design or three to check out too.
The current sets mostly feature shorts, but there are lots of different top styles. I found tank tops, t-shirts, and 3/4 long-sleeved tees.
We love to run into Rare Character Sightings at the Disney World Theme Parks. Recently we were in Hollywood Studios and saw Genie from Disney’s Aladdin out greeting guests.
Nobody ever knows when and where these Rare Disney Character sightings will occur. One of my favorites is when Chip and Dale had a picnic in Hollywood Studios.
Speaking of Chip and Dale, earlier this summer Chip and Dale were dressed in their Rescue Ranger outfits near Indiana Jones saying ‘Hi’ to guests who walked by. Did you see them?
A tropical visitor from Adventureland is getting a Fab 50 statue at Disney! Orange Bird is joining the celebration for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!
The citrus bird character will be joined by 49 unique character statues as part of the “Disney Fab 50,” a new collection of golden sculptures debuting Oct. 1, 2021, across all four Walt Disney World theme parks as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale will be part of a new collection of special golden character sculptures debuting Oct. 1st across the four Walt Disney World theme parks.
There will be 50 characters featured overall, and guests will be able to interact with the “Disney Fab 50” in surprising ways as part of the 50th-anniversary celebration. However, we are quite excited to see Orange Bird. We’ll have to wait and see what other character statues are coming!
During the magical celebration, which begins on Oct. 1st, you’ll be able to find these golden character sculptures throughout all four of the Resort’s parks. And leading up to their appearances, friends from around the Disney company will be announcing which characters you can expect to see.
You can also virtually “collect” each golden Disney character sculpture on Instagram. To add a sculpture to Instagram Collections, just tap and hold the bookmark icon. Then, on the “Save to” screen, tap the collection where you want to save the image or create a new collection. Happy hunting!
Recently, Disney announced that all U.S. salaried and non-union cast members must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Now unions representing cast members are in negotiations with Disney regarding the vaccination mandate.
“UNITE HERE Local 737, along with the other 5 unions of the Services Trade Council, does not have an agreement in place with Disney regarding Disney’s vaccine mandate,” said President Jeremy Haicken. “We continue to negotiate with Disney. We are especially concerned that unionized workers with medical or religious concerns will be accommodated fairly.”
The unions in the Services Trade Council only represent half of the total unions that represent Walt Disney World cast members.
“UNITE HERE 737 has taken many steps to encourage our members to be vaccinated against COVID-19,” the union said in a statement. “The vaccines are safe and effective in preventing serious illness and death. We hope that all hospitality workers in Central Florida will get the vaccine as soon as possible. Any workers who feel unsure about the vaccine should make that decision with their own doctor.”
Negotiations are ongoing and no agreement has been announced yet. Stay tuned for more information!
Today the Disney Dream sailed from Port Canaveral with paying passengers for the first time since the pandemic. Facebook user AlannaZingano shared photos of the Disney Dream with us.
The Disney Dream is sailing to the Bahamas for a 4-night cruise. The cruise includes two stops in Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island.
Both Port Canaveral and Disney Cruise Line have extensive safety protocols in place for passengers and crew.
Disney Cruise Line requires all guests to either provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test or be fully vaccinated. Masks are also required in many locations while on board. Characters will still be seen onboard and in shows but are not available for meet and greets. Youth Clubs like the Oceaneer Lab and Oceaneer Club now require reservations and activities are limited in the number of guests allowed.
Doctor Disney shared on Facebook that the deck of the Disney Dream was virtually empty 3 hours after boarding. Usually, that area of the ship is packed! We aren’t sure what the capacity is for this sailing, but Doctor Disney said the rumor is 25%.
Port Canaveral is slowly becoming busier as cruise lines return to sailing. We can’t wait to see how the Disney Dream sailing goes!
Disney confirms torches will be part of Harmonious. Giant torches surround the World Showcase Lagoon at Disney’s Epcot, and although they have not been used recently, they still stand and work. Used as part of Illuminations, they have sat dormant since the show closed 2 years ago. They have undergone recent renovations because they have stood since 2000.
Now, word has come from Zach Riddley, the Disney Imagineer at Epcot, that the torches will be used again for Harmonious. In a post earlier today Zach went onto say “Storytelling by firelight. These torches are fierce ??? and a core part of the spectacular experience each night in the World Showcase lagoon. These torches have played a role in Illuminations and EPCOT Forever. And I can confirm they will be part of our new show Harmonious coming Oct 1st!!”
Harmonious will send your spirit soaring with fireworks, fountains, magnificent lighting, visual effects, and multimedia magic. One of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park, it’s a sensational way to cap off your day at The World’s Most Magical Celebration!
Prepare to be transported around the globe through stunning visuals and the musical magic of Disney songs—brought to life as never before.
In Harmonious, favorite tunes become even more memorable and moving, as they’re reimagined in over a dozen languages by a diverse ensemble of 240 artists from around the world.

The official start of Halloween Horror Nights is right around the corner. The official start of this spooky event is September 3rd for Florida. With the return of Halloween Horror Nights comes the official tribute store.
There are typically four rooms of horror and a snack case and goodies. You can buy fun merchandise there and take photos at some different photo ops set up. Here’s a video of last year’s store.
The Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store is open during normal park hours. It’s a fun option for those that may not want to experience the full HHN. Rumors are it’s set to open August 27th but we’ll keep you posted with the official word from Universal.
Nothing is more frustrating than seeing a new item at the Disney World Theme Parks, making your way there only to have them all sold out and up on eBay for ridiculous amounts of money.
Honestly, I think that Disney should limit all purchases at least on ALL new items. I can’t tell you how many times I have seen people walk up to the register with 20 pairs of new Minnie Ears or someone walk up to a rack and grab every new spirit jersey.
I understand that some people make a living personal shopping for those of us at home who can’t make it to the parks all the time, but there has to be a limit on this sort of thing.
What do you think? Let us know in the comment box below.
