Finally, after months of hiatus, Disney characters have been spotted back at the resorts! In a December 1st announcement, Disney told us about the beautiful decorations that would be at various Walt Disney World resorts for the holidays. They also teased that some characters would be present as well. In their exact words, the announcement read: ”And while you’re visiting one of these magical places, you may just spot a favorite Disney pal taking in the sights, as well.”
We haven’t been disappointed! The promise has been fulfilled! Pluto and Goofy are the first characters spotted visiting a resort. At the Pop Century resort, an RV with the words ”Caravanning ’Round the World” on the side delivered the furry pair. The brightly-colored van is decorated with the signatures of Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, and Mickey Mouse. Could this mean we can hope to see all the members of the fab five soon?
The holiday season has brought lots of festive surprises to the Walt Disney World resort. Even though health and safety measures have brought complications to many beloved Christmas traditions, such as the gingerbread displays, Disney has brought lots of new joy to their guests. For example, even though character meet-and-greets can’t happen the same way they always have, character cavalcades and boats carrying Santa and Mrs. Claus have ensured that children can still see their favorites at the parks. Thankfully, that ingenuity is now being used to create magical resort memories too!
Are you planning on staying at one of the resorts soon? What character would you be overjoyed to see stop by in the caravan? Let us know in the comments!
