We had an amazing experience when we were invited to taste some of the food that will be available this year. With dishes from some of our favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World, the Classic offers some of the best food available. Also, it is all you can eat. Shula’s, Todd English Blue Zoo, Picabu, and Kimono are just some of the restaurants that will have booths and food available. Disney Installs Protective Wrap Around Tron Lightcycle Run Construction. While new landscaping is being installed, and the vehicles continue to test. Construction Crews have wrapped most of the cement forms in a new protective wrap. Check out some of the newest images.
Tron Lightcycle/ Run is scheduled to open this coming spring. We are watching as the final touches are being done on the outside. New trees and landscape features are now planted. The train tracks have been laid. We wait to see what else will be done, fountains maybe? The major thing we can’t wait to see installed is the Sign.

From the Big Screen to the Theme Park
In 1982, Disney made filmmaking history with TRON, the first production of its kind to mix live action with computer-generated visuals and backlit animation. This iconic film went on to inspire video games, comic books, an animated series, and the 2010 sequel TRON: Legacy—as well as this new Disney theme park attraction.

The show takes place on the stage in front of Kylo Ren’s Upsilon command shuttle. A First Order officer begins the show with a speech. Kylo Ren and Stormtroopers then enter. Ren force chokes the officer for a moment as he is disappointed in the officer’s performance.
Kylo Ren then enters his ship amidst smoke and red lights. The First Order officer and Stormtroopers then exit the stage and begin inspecting the crowd for Resistance supporters.

The style of the restaurant has shifted to match the refurbishment that Disney’s Polynesian Resort received last year. The front entrance now has a beautiful awning.
The interior of the restaurant has a wonderful tropical feel. Guests still get a live view of the preparation of dishes with the on-stage kitchen.
Many of the light fixtures now resemble wicker baskets. Two walls are black rock walls and feature large colorful tropical flowers. The ceiling has even changed! It now features Polynesian-inspired artwork.
All of the seating in the restaurant is new as well. The chair and bench cushions are different throughout the restaurant. Some are deep green, some are aqua blue, and some are tan. The carpet also has a new Polynesian-style pattern.

Universal Orlando Christmas decorations have arrived! Universal’s Islands of Adventure has received a festive makeover and is looking ready for the holidays.
Wreaths, garlands, ornaments, and lights adorn the buildings in the park.
Seuss Landing has received a whimsical holiday makeover as well! It is now Merry Merry Seuss Landing and you won’t want to miss celebrating the Who-liday.
During the holiday season, the whimsical Seuss Landing gets decked out in Who-liday charm and cheer to celebrate Grinchmas.
Delight in the hilarious hijinks of the mean, green one himself in The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular a live retelling of the classic tale starring the Grinch, featuring music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Entertainment Times Revealed
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins this week! We now know the Christmas party entertainment times. Guests attending the event will want to know this information when making their party plans!
Get in the Christmas spirit as your host—Minnie Mouse—invites you to take in a sparkling, yuletide fireworks display. Watch as the sky becomes alight with festive colors to the tune of some of your favorite carols like Deck the Halls and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
This merry display can be thoroughly enjoyed from most locations throughout Magic Kingdom park—including Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
Guests can enjoy this festive fireworks display at 10 pm every party night.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
Feel the magic of the holidays come to life during a jubilant stage show that fills the air with music, laughter, shimmering snowflakes––and a whole lot of Disney Characters, too!
Gather around Cinderella Castle as live performers dance and sing a medley of delightful holiday songs.
This festive castle stage show can be viewed at 7:40 PM, 9:25 PM, 10:35 PM and 11:55 PM at the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
The legendary Main Street USA comes alive with yuletide spirit on select nights. Snap memorable photos of dancing gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers and beloved Disney Characters as they float by, waving hello. There’s even a special appearance by Santa Claus–riding in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
Guests have two opportunities to view the parade; 8:30 pm and 11 pm.
Club Tinsel
Bust a move during a mega fun dance party at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café. Get ready—this is your chance to dance the night away with holiday friends all night long in Tomorrowland!
Enjoy this dance party at your leisure between 7 pm and midnight.
Disney Junior Jingle Jam
Young partygoers can get their groove on with Disney Junior Characters! In Storybook Circus, the Disney Junior Jingle Jam gives young partygoers the chance to get their groove on with favorite characters from popular Disney Junior shows Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins and The Lion Guard.
This dance party also runs for the entirety of the party; from 7 pm to midnight.
A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas
Join some of your favorite Tomorrowland friends for a rockin’ Christmas party. Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski and Stitch join host Haley Comet for an intergalactic musical revue on the Rockettower Plaza Stage. The show is full of modern twists on classic holiday songs and the coolest dance numbers in town! The show is approximately 20 minutes long. Showtimes have not yet been announced, however.

After being away on a mission the Green Army Men have returned to Hollywood Studios! We were able to catch the drum trio as they worked their way through Hollywood Studios today!
Throughout the day, be on the lookout for the Green Army Drum Corps in Toy Story Land! This talented band of drummers is sure to entertain Guests of all ages with their high-energy performances and awe-inspiring drum sequences.
Santa Workshop Experience Has Returned to ICON Park “Here Comes Santa Claus, Here Comes Santa Claus…” Right down ICON Park Lane? Last year we got to experience the Santa Claus Workshop Experience and had such an amazing time. You can read our review here. The jingle bells are ringing at ICON Park – Santa is officially back in town! Now through Dec. 24, guests can enjoy The Santa Workshop Experience at the entertainment destination.
Once again, ICON Park will be transformed into the magical winter wonderland that has delighted thousands of children over the past few years. This Santa experience is second only to a visit to the North Pole. Families can partake in the annual tradition of taking holiday pictures together and the kiddos can meet Old St. Nick.
Each child that participates in The Santa Workshop Experience will receive a free ride on the new Carousel on The Promenade. Gertie Decorated for the Holidays at Hollywood Studios. The oversized Dinosaur that stands tall overlooking Echo Lake in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, has been decorated for the Holidays. One of the very few Non-Disney characters to get such a giant treatment, Gertie has been the backdrop of images since 1989.
“Gertie the Dinosaur” is now chewing on some ferns and apparently picked up an ornament with the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary “50” written in gold. an Oversized Santa hat is on Gertie’s head now. She looks great with the Hollywood Studios Tree in the background since the Park is now fully decorated.
Sunset Seasons Greetings – Gaze in wonder as the Hollywood Tower Hotel is transformed nightly by holiday projections, alternating with the Beacon of Magic.
Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine – Don’t miss Minnie’s merry mealtime at this popular restaurant. Reservations are strongly recommended.

ICON Park Play Pass has 7 Attractions for One Low Price and We Did Them All. Our Job sometimes can be very intense, covering events around Central Florida. Once in a while, we get to sit back and just enjoy what we do for a living. We checked out ICON Park and used the Play Pass, we can honestly say we had a fantastic time. From The Wheel to the 7-D Dark Ride Adventure, our day was family fun without breaking the bank.
Below, you will find all the information on the Play Pass at ICON Park, or you can just click the Link. Prior to all that information, I wanted to just give you our small experience and let you know how worth the money it is.
We are a family of 4, featuring two teens ages 17 and 16. The kids were the ones who I was worried about, would they enjoy spending time with us at ICON Park? What we found, was of the seven attractions, each one of us liked something different and enjoy some of the same things. The teenagers really had fun on the 7-D Dark Ride, where they killed some clowns and zombies, and we found out that as a family we will not be surviving the apocalypse together.
I personally enjoyed the SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, there is something relaxing about watching fish. We all laughed as 4 adult-sized people fit on the Train. Furthermore, we found out how life-like Madame Tussauds Orlando is. Some of us were creeped out by it, but the others in the group had so much fun taking selfies with the waxy celebs.
The highlight of course is The Wheel at ICON Park. Everyone in the family spent time relaxing while watching Central Florida slowly drift by as we went up to 400 FT. I think the best part of riding The Wheel is connecting your phone to the audio system in the cabin and listening to your favorite music while going around. Of course, everyone could sit or stand and point out landmarks in the distance.
So it comes down to is the ICON Park Play Pass worth spending $74.99 on. We have to say Yes. Any afternoon we can spend as a family laughing and each getting to enjoy what makes us happy, and enjoying what makes the others happy is well worth the ticket price.
