Gertie Decorated for the Holidays at Hollywood Studios. The oversized Dinosaur that stands tall overlooking Echo Lake in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, has been decorated for the Holidays. One of the very few Non-Disney characters to get such a giant treatment, Gertie has been the backdrop of images since 1989.

“Gertie the Dinosaur” is now chewing on some ferns and apparently picked up an ornament with the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary “50” written in gold. an Oversized Santa hat is on Gertie’s head now. She looks great with the Hollywood Studios Tree in the background since the Park is now fully decorated.
