Disney Launches The Disney Ultimate Toy Drive To Deliver Hope To Children In Need During The Holiday Season
Disney has once again partnered with the Marine Toys for Tots Program for the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive. This toy drive will bring hope and joy to children this holiday season!
For 75 years, Disney has supported Toys for Tots to help bring toys to children in need. In fact, Disney’s relationship dates to the program’s beginnings, when Walt Disney and his studio artists personally designed the original Toys for Tots train logo we still see today.
The Disney Ultimate Toy Drive takes place from now through Dec. 24, 2022, and you can donate a toy to Toys for Tots at shopDisney.com. Or, if you’d prefer to gift in person, there are plenty of donation opportunities through Dec. 12, 2022. Bring a brand-new, unopened, unwrapped toy to the following destinations:
At Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort, collection bins will be located at the World of Disney store, Star Wars Trading Post, and Hotels of the Disneyland Resort.
Guests and cast members can also participate from Dec. 10, 2022, through Dec. 11, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST, when U.S. Marines will be on hand near the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage to accept donations.
At Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort, collection bins are located at the World of Disney store, Marketplace Co-Op, Star Wars Galactic Outpost, and the Disney Springs Welcome Center.
Walt Disney World Resort cast members will also be joining the fun, collecting toys in backstage locations across the resort all season long and participating in Disney VoluntEARS opportunities at local Toys for Tots warehouses for children and families in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.
At most Disney Outlet locations and Disney stores, including the Disney store in Times Square, New York, you can also donate new, unopened, and unwrapped toys!
On select Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 5, 2022, through Dec. 11, 2022, Marine representatives will be making visits to help with the toy collection. Call your local Disney Outlet or store location for more details.

Throughout the holiday season, Disney will also support Toys for Tots in several ways, including by airing a public service announcement on Disney’s television networks and streaming platforms – such as ABC, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, Freeform, FX, Hulu, and National Geographic – to encourage viewers to participate in the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive. Content from across the company’s networks, including ESPN’s “GetUp!,” will feature Disney Ultimate Toy Drive integrations to highlight the season of giving and the importance of supporting communities in need. Disney Movie Club will also be joining in by donating over 2,000 toys to a local Toys for Tots chapter in Wisconsin. Additional activations will be announced throughout the campaign.

New Holiday PhotoPass Photo Ops at the Magic Kingdom
Holiday decorations have arrived at Walt Disney World and now guests can experience new holiday PhotoPass photo ops at Magic Kingdom! These special step-in photo ops can be found in multiple places in the park and are available for all guests to enjoy.
Over in Adventureland you’ll find the Mele Kalikimaka photo op. This step-in frame features some of your favorite friends from Enchanted Tiki Room! The tropical backdrop is an image of crystal blue water, palm trees, and a volcano. There is a gold ‘Walt Disney World 50’ medallion front and center. This photo op is located near Sunshine Terrace.
Stitch fans won’t want to miss the Merry Stitch-mas photo op in Tomorrowland! Located outside the old entrance to Stitch’s Great Escape, you can step into a space-themed backdrop. Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley are all there wearing Santa hats. Christmas lights decorate the top of the frame along with a 50th anniversary medallion.
You can’t miss this last holiday photo op! Located between The Plaza Restaurant and Tomorrowland Terrace, this Season’s Greetings step-in frame features our favorite classic characters. Mickey Mouse is riding in a sleigh pulled by Pluto wearing reindeer antlers. Minnie and Daisy are decorating a Christmas tree with Donald trying to put the star on top. And Goofy is hanging the ‘Season’s Greetings’ sign. Guests can step into a backdrop that is a winter wonderland including a path lined with candy canes and a cabin covered in lights. There is a gold ‘Walt Disney World 50’ medallion in the front.

Aaron Carter was tragically found dead this morning in the bathtub of his Lancaster, California home at around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Carter reportedly drowned, and while detectives are currently investigating, there’s no indication that there was foul play.
“I have no comment at this time, a statement will be released shortly by the family and management. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time,” manager Taylor Helgeson said in a statement.
Aaron Carter was the little brother of BackStreet Boys superstar Nick Carter. He released his first album at 9 years old and found fame with pop songs like “I Want Candy” and “Crush on You,” is survived by his 11-month-old son, Prince.
The pop star made his acting debut on Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire. He also performed an exclusive concert for Disney Channel and later danced on ABC’S Dancing With the Stars.
Musical Holiday Popcorn Tin Coming Soon to Disney World and Disneyland
Starting on November 11th there will be a new Musical Holiday Popcorn tin coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Disney shared a cute video on Instagram showcasing this adorable holiday musical popcorn tin.

The theme of the Winter 2022 season, “The Super Power of Mentorship,” focuses on the relationships behind and between accomplished heroes in the Marvel Universe and the mentors, teachers, and inspirations that helped guide and encourage them. Super Heroes are only so powerful; they don’t learn how to be heroes alone. Fans can tune in to hear how some of their favorite heroes have benefited from and been shaped by their super-powered mentors.
Through conversations with artists, writers, creators, and some of our very own Women of Marvel, the season explores relationships between fan-favorite characters including Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan, Storm and Kitty Pryde, and Janet and Nadia Van Dyne.
