Harrison Ford Reveals Why he Returned for Indiana Jones 5

Indiana Jones returns for one final adventure on the silver screen in 2023. Actor Harrison Ford says his motivation to return to the character was driven by a desire to see Indy at the end of the character’s life journey.

Even though “Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull” showed his character getting married, it wasn’t necessarily an ending. That’s one major reason why Harrison Ford felt like making a new film after reading the script for Indiana Jones 5.

“I just thought it would be nice to see one where Indiana Jones was at the end of his journey,” Harrison Ford explains. “If a script came along that I felt gave me a way to extend the character.”

Harrison Ford went on to explain that the film itself is filled with “real emotion” and commented on the tough but fun production of the film.

“It’s full of adventure, full of laughs, full of real emotion. And it’s complex, and it’s sneaky,” said Ford. “The shooting of it was tough and long and arduous, but I’m very happy with the film that we have.”

In the last few years, we’ve also seen Ford return to his iconic character roles in the “Star Wars” and “Blade Runner” franchises.

Little is known about the plot of the new movie, but the footage, which hasn’t been released online yet, shows Ford’s retired adventurer Jones lamenting about his return to staid academic life with Sallah (John Rhys-Davies) from the original “Raiders of the Last Ark.”

“Indiana Jones 5” is directed by James Mangold and is out June 30, 2023. The legendary composer John Williams returns to write the score.

Disney World 50th Statues Now have Holiday Sayings

Disney World 50th Statues
Disney World 50th Statues

Disney World 50th Statues Now have Holiday Sayings. We have written extensively about the Gold Fab 50 Statues around the Walt Disney World Parks. We have talked about the Quest to find them all, how they interact with the Magic Band +, and recently how the Imagineering team surprised us by changing the audio during Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween party and the Halloween time around the parks.

Walking around the Hub in Disney’s Magic Kingdom and feeling your wrist vibrate has become very passe. We have been playing with our Magic Band Plus since May of 2022 when the new interactive bands were accidentally sold a few months too soon. So feeling the band go off, and then doing a wave from 20 feet away is now second nature.

While interacting with the Gold Statues, sometimes you get a surprise. Recently when we walked by Goofy and Pluto Statue, sitting in front of Cinderella Castle, Goofy wished us a “Happy Holidays, Gwarsh” (Wonder how many people made the noise of Gwarsh in your head and it sounded like goofy’s voice?) Not only was Goofy giving holiday greetings, but all the Fab 50 Statues in the Magic Kingdom are.

Check out the video below.

British Father dies on Family Holiday at Disney World from Fentanyl Overdose

Philip Weybourne, 40, of West Malling was on Holiday at Disney World with his family. On the day of the incident, the family visited Disney Springs enjoyed some shopping, dined at The Boathouse, and even took a ride on the vintage amphibious cars.

In a statement read at the hearing, his wife Dorlyn Weybourne said:

“It was just going to be a relaxing day, we booked a meal at the Boat House, a seafood restaurant at Disney Springs which is also home to tours in vintage amphibious automobiles.

“My son and I had been shopping and met with Philip at 1 pm at the Boat House.

“We had the best lunch, we drank champagne like we did when we lived in Dubai.

“Afterwards we went on an amphibious car ride and to end our day we headed back to the hotel at about 5.30 pm.”

According to the report the family returned to the Yacht Club Resort, Philip the director of an international IT company wanted to enjoy a few more drinks at the Yacht Club bar. His wife and son headed back to the room to rest after the relaxing day.

Two hours later Mrs. Weybourne heard a knock at her hotel room door and she was told that her husband had been taken in an ambulance to Celebration hospital. Mrs. Weybourne asked them if it was heat stroke or a heart attack.

‘When I got to the hospital I didn’t see my husband. I just remember the doctor telling me his time of death, 8:06 pm.’ The doctors told Mrs. Weybourne that her husband had died from cardiac arrest.

After the autopsy, the Toxicology report revealed that he had fatal levels of fentanyl a synthetic opioid used as a pain medication in his system. Fentanyl is much more potent than heroin, and very small amounts can cause severe clinical effects or death.

Assistant coroner Catherine Wood said: “This must have been very difficult and distressing for Mr Weybourne’s family. “I don’t know the circumstances that led up to his death as Mr Weybourne died in another country.

‘He had no underlying health issues and I am content, after the findings of the autopsy, that his death was caused by fatal levels of fentanyl, a synthetic opioid used as a pain medication.

“I offer my sincere condolences to Mr. Weybourne’s family.

The Weybourne family did not wish to comment further on Philip’s death, saying at the inquest: “We spoke about Philip’s life at his funeral. It is time for closure.”

During the last two years, the Annual Passholders entrance at all Walt Disney World Parks disappeared. With the recent return of the Ap touchpoints, we noticed a few small updates.

New signs had appeared at all four Parks recently, they turned out to be new signage for the Annual Passholder entrance. Now Disney has added another little update with golden touch points at the Magic Kingdom Annual Passholder Entrance.

The AP scanners are on the monorail side, closest to the Mickey and Minnie topiary. You can see below the new signage and new scanners.

Ralph Fiennes Open to Returning as Lord Voldemort In Next ‘Harry Potter’ Installment

Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslav recently mentioned the possibility of working with J.K. Rowling on more “Harry Potter” content. In response, Lord Voldemort actor Ralph Fiennes quickly expressed his interest in reprising his villainous role in the Wizarding World.

In a recent Variety interview, Ralph Fiennes said if Warner Bros. or Rowling called him to join future “Harry Potter” projects, then he would jump right in: “No question about it.”

Ralph Fiennes first appeared as He Who Shall Not Be Named in the fourth “Harry Potter” film, 2005’s “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” and returned for three additional movies — “Order of the Phoenix” and “Deathly Hallows” Part 1 and 2.

Despite his character dying in the final installment, it appears that Fiennes is down to return.

The question about Ralph Fiennes’ return has gained more relevance, as Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has indicated that franchises like Superman and Harry Potter will be major focuses moving forward. Though there are no concrete plans, Zaslav’s comments heavily implied he wanted to focus on the core Harry Potter franchise rather than any spin-offs.
