Tom Hanks and Tim Allen Still Have a Close Relationship After Toy Story
Tim Allen confirms that his friendship with Tom Hanks goes beyond Toy Story.
Actor Tim Allen recently opened up about his relationship with longtime “Toy Story” co-star Tom Hanks when he appeared as a guest on the “Kelly Clarkson Show”
Allen revealed the two often meet up and have “the most peculiar lunches,” which started during the production of the first “Toy Story” and have evolved to multiple times a year.
“We’re like two older women ’cause we will sit almost too close to each other at a booth, it’s just weird.”
“We have very different opinions on so many things,” Tim Allen added. “He’s really a wonderful and engaging person. And he’s the first guy that listens to me and doesn’t judge.”
He continued, “He’s a very different person than me, and he eats off my plate.”
Allen recalled the “Forrest Gump” star eating french fries off his plate while the two were in the middle of filming the first “Toy Story.”
“He’s going, ‘Oh this is so much fun working with you.’ And I go, ‘These are my fries, that’s why they are in this area,'” Allen said as the audience laughed.
It is great to see “Woody” and “Buzz” share a real life friendship since the 90’s!
Brand-new light show debuts at Spaceship Earth for Epcot International Festival of the Holidays
We are just a few days away from the start of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays! To celebrate the season Epcot will be rolling out a Brand-new light show that will debut at Spaceship Earth for the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.

This year, a brand-new light show debuts at Spaceship Earth. Our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering say the light display will invoke some of the sights of winter, including snowflakes, northern lights and warm candles.

Disney Celebrities React to Bob Iger returning as CEO of Disney
Many Disney Fans are excited about the return of Bob Iger as CEO of the Walt Disney Company. The past few days have been a whirlwind of emotions for many who have been following all of the news.
When Iger first took office he had this to say about the future of the Walt Disney Company:
“I am extremely optimistic for the future of this great company and thrilled to be asked by the Board to return as its CEO,” Iger said. “Disney and its incomparable brands and franchises hold a special place in the hearts of so many people around the globe—most especially in the hearts of our employees, whose dedication to this company and its mission is an inspiration. I am deeply honored to be asked to again lead this remarkable team, with a clear mission focused on creative excellence to inspire generations through unrivaled, bold storytelling.”

Bob Iger Salary and Compensation Package Revealed as Disney CEO
A recent SEC Filing shows how much it took for Bob Iger to return to the helm of the Walt Disney Company. Bob agreed to serve as Disney CEO from November 20, 2022, through December 31, 2024. Many fans were excited Iger would be returning as CEO of Disney when the news broke the other night as they feel Chapek sucked all of the life out of the Walt Disney Company.

Here is a breakdown of how much he will be paid along with bonuses.
Base Salary.
Effective as of the Commencement Date, the Executive shall receive an annual base salary of $1,000,000. The amount of annual base salary payable under this Paragraph 3(a) shall be reduced, however, to the extent Executive elects in accordance with Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”), and the regulations and interpretations thereunder (“Section 409A”), to defer such salary under the terms of any deferred compensation or savings plan or arrangement maintained or established by or on behalf of the Company or any of its subsidiaries. Executive’s annual base salary payable hereunder, without reduction for any amounts deferred as described above, is referred to herein as the “Base Salary.” The Company shall pay the Executive the portion of Base Salary not deferred at the election of the Executive in accordance with its generally applicable policies for senior executives (currently paid on a weekly basis), but not less frequently than in equal monthly installments.
Annual Incentive Bonus.
Executive shall be given the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with the annual bonus plan generally applicable to the Company’s executive officers, as the same may be in effect from time to time (the “Annual Plan”). Executive’s target annual incentive bonus opportunity under the Annual Plan during each full fiscal year during the term hereof shall be one hundred percent (100%) of the Executive’s Base Salary as in effect at the end of the such fiscal year. The actual amount payable to the Executive as an annual bonus under the Annual Plan shall be dependent upon the achievement of performance objectives established in accordance with the Annual Plan by the Board of Directors of the Company or the committee of the Board responsible for administering such Annual Plan (the “Compensation Committee”), which shall be substantially similar to the objectives established under the Annual Plan for other senior executive officers of the Company. The preceding sentence shall not limit any power or discretion of the Board Compensation Committee in the administration of the Annual Plan. Accordingly, depending on performance, the actual amount payable as an annual bonus to Executive under the Annual Plan may be less than, greater than or equal to the target bonus specified above. Any bonus payable pursuant to this Paragraph 3(b) shall be paid at the same time as annual bonuses are payable to other officers of the Company in accordance with the provisions of the Annual Plan, subject to the Executive’s continued employment with the Company through the date on which such bonuses are paid.
This pay package is a huge step down from what Iger previously was paid as Disney CEO. His base payback in 2021 was $3 million with him earning around $46 million in bonuses.
Meanwhile, exiting CEO Bob Chapek will make more than $23 million in severance payments and benefits after the board of the Walt Disney Company notified him that he was to be let go. Chapek earned nearly $35 million as CEO in 2021, more than double his compensation throughout 2020.

The babirusa piglet Nutmeg celebrates her 1st birthday in style at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The care team at the park set up a special celebration for the piglet.
Disney’s Dr. Mark Penning shared about the celebration on Instagram:

Amy Adams (Giselle Philip), Patrick Dempsey (Robert Philip), Idina Menzel (Queen Nancy), and James Marsden (King Edward) have all returned in their respective roles for the sequel, with franchise newcomers Gabriella Baldacchino (Morgan Philip), Maya Rudolph (Malvina Monroe), Yvette Nicole Brown (Rosaleen), Jayma Mays (Ruby), Kolton Stewart (Tyson Monroe), Griffin Newman (vocal, Pip) and Alan Tudyk (vocal, Scroll).
A synopsis of the film reads, “Years after her happily ever after, Giselle, Robert and Morgan move to a new community and Andalasia and the real world are thrown off-balance.” For a little more insight, the film follows both Giselle and Morgan as they navigate the trials of life after moving to the suburbs from NYC, Giselle having a baby, and as a (Step) Mother and Daughter struggling through formative teenage years.
The score for the film was composed by Disney Legend Alan Menken, and though a handful of songs were fun and catchy such as Even More Enchanted, Badder, and Love Power, we couldn’t help but feel that a few pieces felt forced simply to establish character integrity instead or standing out on their own or progressing the story.
Brandy and Rita Ora Join the Cast in ‘Descendants’ Sequel ‘The Pocketwatch’ At Disney+
Disney+ announced that talented multi-hyphenate performers Brandy and Rita Ora will journey to the fantastical kingdom of Auradon in “The Pocketwatch”, the latest installment in the music-driven megahit “Descendants” franchise.
Ora and Brandy join previously announced cast members China Anne McClain (Disney’s “Descendants 2” and “Descendants 3”), Kylie Cantrall (Disney’s “Gabby Duran and the Unsittables”) and Dara Reneé (Disney’s “High School Musical: The Musical: the Series”).
Also being added to the talented cast are Malia Baker (“The Babysitter’s Club”), Ruby Rose Turner (Disney’s “Coop and Cami Ask the World”), Morgan Dudley (“Jagged Little Pill” on Broadway) and Joshua Colley (“Senior Year”). In addition, fan favorite Melanie Paxson (“Dealbreakers”) will reprise her role as Fairy Godmother from the previous “Descendants” movies.
Cast breakdown is as follows:
Brandy as “Cinderella,” the classic Disney character, who is elegant, warm, good-hearted and diplomatic.
Rita Ora as the withholding, tyrannical “Queen of Hearts,” who rules over the kingdom of Wonderland with an iron fist.
Kylie Cantrall as “Red,” the rebellious 16 year-old daughter of the Queen of Hearts. Red knows she’ll never get the Queen’s approval, so she finds ways to provoke her mother and stir up trouble.
Malia Baker as “Chloe,” the cheerful 16 year-old daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming, who is book smart and athletic, but her privilege makes her somewhat naive about the real world.
China Anne McClain returns as “Uma,” daughter of the infamous sea-witch Ursula, a role she previously played in “Descendants 2” and ”Descendants 3.” Strong and fierce, Uma always fights for what she thinks is right.
Dara Reneé as “Ulyana,” the younger sister of Ursula. She’s a teen sea-witch and mean-girl bully with eight wicked tentacles and a crew of lackeys.
Ruby Rose Turner as “Bridget/Young Queen of Hearts,” who is sweet-natured, bubbly, generous, and the complete opposite of her grown-up self.
Morgan Dudley as “Ella/Young Cinderella,” who is blunt, pragmatic and has a bit of a chip on her shoulder about being forced to work for her wicked stepmother.
Joshua Colley as “Hook,” one of Ulyana’s sycophants, a rich kid with a hoop earring and a shiny hook where his left hand should be. His arrogance is only surpassed by his vanity.
Melanie Paxson returns as “Fairy Godmother,” the wise and kind headmistress of Auradon Prep, who appeared in all three “Descendants” movies.
The “Descendants” movies unfurled an imaginative mythology of two new lands, idyllic Auradon and the ragtag Isle of the Lost, home to the teenage progeny of Disney’s most iconic characters and notably, its most notorious villains. The bold new story of “The Pocketwatch” returns to these lands and also takes audiences through the rabbit hole to the hostile unincorporated territory of Wonderland, a magical, mysterious place made famous in “Alice in Wonderland.”
The expansive new story finds polar opposites Red and Chloe crossing paths at a momentous celebration in Auradon when unexpected chaos breaks out. In order to prevent an impending coup, they must join forces to travel back in time, via a magical pocket watch created by the Mad Hatter’s son, to stop an event that would lead to grave consequences.
