Summer celebrations are officially getting underway at Walt Disney World as patriotic decorations have begun arriving at Magic Kingdom. Over the last 24 hours, Cast Members have started installing classic red, white, and blue bunting throughout the park ahead of the upcoming Memorial Day and Independence Day holidays.

Guests arriving at the park will immediately notice the festive new look, with heavy, patriotic fabric bunting draped beautifully along the railings and rooflines of the Main Street Train Station. The American flag-inspired decorations have also been added to several key locations around Town Square, including the facades of City Hall and the Town Square Theater.

This annual transformation is a fan-favorite tradition, perfectly complementing the turn-of-the-century Americana vibe of Main Street, U.S.A. Additional patriotic touches are expected to appear along the rest of the street and inside Central Plaza as Disney prepares for the peak summer travel crowds. Visitors over the next two months can look forward to seeing the park decked out in full festive glory, making for some incredible, timeless photos in front of Cinderella Castle.
