The Plaza restaurant is located in The Magic Kingdom. As you enter Main Street and walk towards the castle it will be on your right side on the corner across from Casey’s. Reservations are required. The Plaza has a limited menu, however they are also a reasonably priced sit down restaurant, by Disney standards. You can see the castle from pretty much every table in there. The Victorian atmosphere and the location is perfect because you get a great view of the castle, the service is always incredible, and the food is great and the portions are huge. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies be sure to let them know and they will have the chef come out and talk to you so you can be sure that your needs are met.
The Plaza is part of the Disney Dining Plan, and is considered a table service credit. You won’t want to miss this journey back in time to a simpler lifestyle-that fits perfectly with the theming on Main Street, U.S.A. Sometimes, the mayor even comes to visit! You’ll want to stop by the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor afterward for a quick treat to sweeten your dinner!
Quick Tip: Although reservations are required they have been to know fit people in, especially if it’s a slow day. So if you don’t have a reservation swing by and ask if they can fit you in. They are usually very accommodating.
We give The Plaza an A+
I love this place. I always get the Philly cheese steak, DH gets the Rueben or meatloaf special. Love the homemade chips and of course we get dessert, usually a Sundae. My daughter gets the grilled cheese and chips and a strawberry shake. It is our go to restaurant when at MK.
This was a great quick pick me up while at MK. We had a large party so we had to get an ADR with 2 tables but the tables were actually next to each other and we were able to keep our party together. The salads are unbelievable! They are a meal on their own, that’s how big and satisfying they are and the desserts are scrumptious! We were celebrating my oldest daughters birthday and the server saw her Birthday button and after our meal she brought her a cupcake and gathered some of the other servers and sang Happy Birthday to her. It was Excellent!
This is our stand-by restaurant. We can usually score a reservation here with very little advanced notice, like the morning of since we often end up at Magic Kingdom. We always enjoy the food here. The hearty meatloaf is really good comfort food. My son LOVES the grilled cheese and my husband has a hard time not eating half of it. My son also loves the cookies and milk dessert option. I love the chocolate milk shake and the Chicken Strawberry salad. You really can’t go wrong here!
