Universal Orlando Announces 2027 Mardi Gras Dates
Let the good times roll! Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced the return of Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval for 2027, bringing beads, big flavors, colorful floats, and live music back to Universal Studios Florida from February 6 through March 27, 2027.

The annual celebration will once again be included with regular Universal Studios Florida theme park admission or a valid Annual Pass, subject to applicable blockout dates. Guests can expect the return of the Mardi Gras parade, featuring elaborate floats inspired by New Orleans traditions, along with plenty of opportunities to catch beads as the celebration makes its way through the park. Universal says the parade will feature colorful floats inspired by masks, feathers, doubloons, food, music, and the bayou.
Food will once again be a major part of the party, with Universal promising sweet, savory, and spicy dishes inspired by destinations around the world. Live concerts will also return to the Music Plaza Stage on select nights, although Universal has not yet announced the 2027 concert lineup. The Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience is also set to return on select dates in the spring, giving guests the chance to enjoy a three-course meal before climbing aboard a parade float and tossing beads to the crowd. Pricing, participating restaurants, and additional details for the experience have not yet been announced.
