A guest at Disney California Adventure has reported an alleged Radiator Springs Racers crash, saying the ride vehicle they were in came to a sudden stop and was then bumped from behind by the car following it. The account was shared on Reddit on Sept. 29, and Disneyland Resort has not commented publicly on it.
What the Guest Said About the Alleged Radiator Springs Racers Crash
In a post on Reddit’s r/Disneyland community, a guest using the name u/nogluten_shark wrote that they were riding in a yellow vehicle when it stopped suddenly, and that the car behind them made contact.
“Anyone else ever been in a car crash on the Radiator Springs ride? We were in yellow when the car came to a sudden stop and car behind hit us pretty good.”
The guest also wrote that they were moved to other ride vehicles afterward. “They just got us in other cars, and away we went,” the post said. The guest added that they were not asked how they were doing.
This is an unverified guest account. Disneyland Resort has not confirmed the incident, and no official details have been released about what happened or whether anyone was hurt.

Disney has not announced a closure of Radiator Springs Racers connected to the guest’s report, and has not said whether the attraction’s operations have been affected.
