‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ Sequel Title Potentially Leaked Online Via LinkedIn. This week the title for the highly anticipated animated Spider-Verse sequel may have leaked online after a CFX supervisor added additional work to their LinkedIn profile that credited them with working on the film “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” Privately, the profile credit was switched to “Upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” but has sense been made private or removed completely from LinkedIn after the title was found and shared by The Cosmic Circus seemingly giving credit to the leaked title being the real deal.

Marvel and Sony have yet to confirm a title for the upcoming animated sequel, but we do know that Spider-Man 2099 will be joining the superhero lineup in the sequel. Spider-Man 2099, aka Miguel O’Hara, is a geneticist from the alternate universe New York named Nueva York. In the comics, Miguel was working on recreating the events of the original Spider-Man’s origin story to receive spider-like abilities when he himself is altered due to an accident with the experiment. Spider-Man 2099 appeared in a post credit scene of the original film and was voiced by Oscar Isaac who will likely be voicing the character in the sequel.
