The official Universal Orlando Resort App has recently received a major update that provides a much more enjoyable app experience and makes navigating the parks much easier!
Here are all of the major new features that are packed into version 6.0 of the app:
New Visual Design: The app has a brand-new look that is both refreshing and familiar. This new design approach means you can access even more relevant information with fewer taps, giving you greater control over your visit.
Redesigned Map: The map has been completely overhauled. Now, you can filter, sort, and browse information in greater detail, making it easier to navigate the park and find what you’re looking for.
Reimagined Wallet: The Universal Orlando Resort Wallet has been updated to make payments seamless. You can link your tickets and store payment information, and with the new Travel Party feature, you can assign tickets and extras to specific individuals in your group.
Enhanced Accessibility: The app now adjusts its content based on the preferred font size set on your device, making it more accessible for everyone.
With these updates, the Universal Orlando Resort App aims to provide a more personalized and convenient experience for all visitors. We found the app to be much more intuitive than previous versions, and the aesthetic upgrades to the map features are very nice (especially considering Universal Orlando has eliminated paper maps). Much of the app (other than the new map) functions the same as the previous version, with a new aesthetic design that makes finding what you are looking for a bit easier. The upgraded wallet section, which supports the ability to allocate tickets to specific members of your travel party, is also a very nice upgrade from the previous version of the app.
Note Premier Pass Holders will still need to utilize their Annual Pass card since all of the perks that come with the Premier Annual Pass (such as the included after 4 pm express pass) are still not supported by the app.

Details Revealed for 2024 Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite is returning with galactic entertainment, novel themed snacks and unique photo opportunities on eight separate nights at Disneyland park! That’s twice as many nights as previous years.
This separately ticketed event will be held on April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and May 2, 7 and 9, 2024. We’ve got all the details, including the dates these tickets go on sale, Magic Key pre-sale opportunities, plus a new โnotify meโ option that will be available to guests while theyโre waiting in the online queue to purchase tickets!

Here, guests will be introduced to all-new maneuvers specially crafted for this yearโs recruits. All members of the Light Side and/or Dark Side are welcome.

In addition to all the themed fun that comes to life just for the party, guests will have the opportunity to ride some popular attractions after regular park hours (often with less wait times)! Admission also includes souvenir keepsakes such as aย Star Warsย Nite credential and event guide map, plus unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken throughout the event.
Tickets On Sale Soon, with Magic Key Pre-Sale Opportunities
Also new for this event, Inspire Magic Key holders will have the first opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets for Star Wars Nite. On Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT) Inspire Key holders may purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets on Disneyland.com. Then, on Wednesday Feb. 21 and Thursday, Feb. 22, all Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets. On Friday, Feb. 23 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT), tickets will go on sale to the general public. Tickets are limited and subject to availability.
New โNotify Meโ Option in Queue
For the first time, if guests are waiting in the online queue to purchase Star Wars Nite tickets, they may have the option to be digitally notified when itโs their time to enter the ticket store.
To participate, once in the queue, guests can choose the โnotify meโ option and enter their email address. They will receive an email letting them know itโs their turn to return to the waiting room in order to enter the ticket store site. From the time their turn begins, they will have ten minutes to use the link to return to the site.

New Disneyland Paris Stitch Ear Headband Now Available At Epcot!
A new Disneyland Paris Stitch Ear Headband is ready to join your collection! We spotted this adorable ear headband at the France pavilion in Epcot for $34.99, so now there’s no need to go all the way to the city of lights to get yours.
It features plush ears with Disneyland Paris, the Eiffel Tower and fireworks on one ear and Sleeping Beauty Castle with fireworks on the other. The back of the ears feature french buildings and the “ugly ducklings” plus more fireworks.

Jake Gyllenhaal’s highly-anticipated Road House remake is set to make its Prime Video debut on March 21, streaming globally in over 240 territories worldwide. The film, a contemporary reimagining of the 1989 cult classic, stars Gyllenhaal as an ex-UFC fighter turned bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, adding a modern twist to the original storyline.
The official poster for the movie has been released, paying homage to the iconic Double Deuce bar and incorporating Easter eggs for fans to discover. The remake, based on the original film starring Patrick Swayze, follows the story of a professional bouncer tasked with maintaining order at a newly refurbished roadside bar in Missouri.
The cast of the Road House remake includes Billy Magnussen, Arturo Castro, Daniela Melchior, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Lukas Gage, Beau Knapp, and features the first-ever film role for champion boxer Conor McGregor.
The synopsis for the film reads, “In this adrenaline-fuelled reimagining of the ’80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.”
Expressing excitement about the project, Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios, stated, “Road House is a home run for us. Not only is it a nod to fans of the original, but it is also a big, fun, broad audience movie. We are thrilled to collaborate with this great cast led by Jake Gyllenhaal, and for them to come together to reimagine the classic MGM film as an action-packed adventure for our global audience.”
New Disneyland Paris Loungefly Backpack Now Available At Epcot!
An enchanting Disneyland Paris Loungefly Backpack just made its way from France to Epcot! You can find it at the France pavilion in the World Showcase for $98, in fact, this is just one of the products you will be able to find as part of the Retro Disneyland Paris collection that arrived earlier this month.
The backpack features dark blue sequins on the front with 3D ears featuring fireworks and a circular front pocket with the Paris landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Sleeping Beauty Castle, “Disneyland Paris” text and fireworks.
