Vacation in style (Shrek Style) at this unique Shrek’s Swamp Airbnb
Fans of Shrek, the green Ogre from the DreamWorks Pictures series that bears his name, will want to check out this unique Airbnb listing: a rental in Highland Council, United Kingdom has been transformed into a replica of Shrek’s swamp!
Details from the listing: Located in the hills of the Scottish Highlands, Shrek’s Swamp is a stumpy, secluded haven fit for a solitude-seeking ogre… and for the first time ever, a handful of his biggest fans, thanks to yours truly.
I’m swamp-sitting while Shrek’s away this Halloween, and I’m absolutely delighted to invite you in for a fairytale stay. Oh, and never mind the “BEWARE” signs. They’re probably for decoration.
Booking opens on October 13 at 6 p.m. for one, two-night stay for up to three guests October 27-29. The booking also affords access to an on-site concierge who will help arrange meals. Guests should note toilet, sink and shower facilities will be located off-site, approximately 20 meters away from Shrek’s Swamp.

We found the new Epcot Reimagined Dooney And Bourke Collection at the Creations Shop in Epcot and we love it! We hope to see it available online at shopDisney soon because this collection is definitely a must have, it will remind you that the future is now and inspired you to be curious and keep moving forward.
Let’s start with the satchel bag, this one is a medium size bag perfect to carry everything you need everyday. It features an all over pattern of beloved characters like Mickey, Nemo, Olaf, Groot and more plus attraction icons.

Work will soon begin on the DVC Cabins at Fort Wilderness
The current Cabins at Fort Wilderness provide amazing amenities at a moderate resort price point. The cabins provide families with a full cabin, including a seperate bedroom and full kitchen, at the Fort Wilderness campground. The cabins will soon see an upgrade as they are transformed into Disney Vacation Club cabins.
While the Fort Wilderness cabins are currently considered a moderate resort, they are typically on the higher end of the moderate resort pricing. The transformation of the cabins to DVC Cabins at Fort Wilderness will result in guests needing to adjust their booking strategy to stay in a cabin.
DVC resorts are bookable via the Walt Disney World website, however they command a deluxe resort price. DVC members can use points to stay at the DVC resorts, and guests can utilize rental services to rent points to stay at these resorts as well.
The cabin transformation will see the current cabins refurbished to provide a more modern look and feel. Each cabin can sleep up to 6 adults, with a bedroom bathroom, full kitchen, and living room included in each cabin.
The work permits for the cabins are good through 2025. The current Cabins at Fort Wilderness are included in the early 2024 room discount promotion, which means the cabins will still be bookable as a moderate resort through at least the first quarter of next year. The Disney Vacation Club cabins currently slated to open at Fort Wilderness sometime next year, however an exact construction timeline and completion date has not been released by Disney.

Florida residents can save up to 30% off regular room rates for travel on select nights starting on January 1, 2024 through March 24, 2024. Value resorts can save up to 20%, moderate resorts up to 25%, and deluxe resorts up to 30%. The amount of savings depends on selected travel dates as well as resort selected, with weekends seeing a lower percent off than stays that occur Sunday through Thursday.
As always, the number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. Florida residents will need to show proof of residency at check in. We tried the new Liquid Nitro Mickey Cake Pop and have our review ready for you!
Swirled Showcase is a new addition to the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival Lineup. The booth opened this past weekend, and serves up a variety of snacks and drinks from its location next to The Refreshment Port. While the entire menu looks great, the one item that is certainly the one most likely to grab your attention is the massive Mickey Cake Pop . We tried one on the booths opening day, and have a full review ready for you!
The Mickey Cake Pop is a great looking treat, and certainly one that you want to try just by looking at it! This is not your average cake pop: the size is massive compared to other cake pops I have tried in the past, resembling the size and shape of a Mickey Ice Cream bar. The also make the cake pops right next to the register, which allows you to see the liquid nitrogen in action as it hardens the chocolate dipped exterior to a hard candy shell.
The Mickey Cake Pop is certainly much more dense than I was expecting. The texture of the cake is decadent and rich, with a texture that in my opinion more closely resembles a brownie than your typical cake pop texture. The cake pop is delicious, with the Nitro blasted chocolate exterior (and candy coating) providing a nice contrast to the chocolate cake interior. The flavors of the cake pop are VERY chocolate forward, resulting in a treat that all of the chocolate lovers in your party will find appetizing.
I found the snack to be well worth the $4.79 price tag. The cake is decadent and delicious, and the Nitro blast given to the chocolate-dipped exterior provides a nice contrast (as well as a bit of chill, which is refreshing on a hot central Florida day). The Mickey Cake Pop should be on your must-try list for your next trip to the Food and Wine Festival.

The backstory of Jack the Clown, a Halloween Horror Nights fan-favorite icon, begins on this very same night. Jack the Clown scratched Dr. Oddfellows face during the night, giving Jack immortality and also causing Oddfellow to bear the scratch no matter what form the shapeshifter takes.

The new Disney 100 Happy Meal Toys are expected to be released in Mexico on October 16, 2023, which is the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary.

However, the website Allfastfoodtoys.com states the 100 Years of Wonder toys will be available at McDonald’s from October 31st, 2023, to December 4th, 2023.
I guess we will have to wait and see when these new Disney 100 Happy Meal Toys come to McDonald’s.
