Mickey and Minnie Debut New ‘Dreaming of Fantasy Springs’ Outfits for Tokyo Disneyland

Fantasy Springs is opening in Tokyo DisneySea this summer and a special “Dreaming of Fantasy Springs” harbor greeting with Mickey & Minnie is coming soon! The greeting starts in April and today we got a look at Mickey and Minnie’s new outfits.

Mickey sports deep blue trousers and matching shoes, complemented by a golden waistcoat adorned with purple detailing. His teal tailcoat boasts intricate golden filigree and delicate wrist ruffles. Meanwhile, Minnie dons an organdy ombre dress transitioning from white to teal to pink hues. Her attire is elevated by gold heels, and her extended vest mirrors Mickey’s teal coat, featuring elaborate gold embroidery and accents of pink blossoms. Completing her ensemble is a gold bow embellished with a delicate pink flower.

“Dreaming of Fantasy Springs” will enchant visitors at Tokyo DisneySea from April 9 to June 30. Alongside the harbor greeting, guests can immerse themselves in special decorations, merchandise, and menu offerings tailored to this magical event.

Fantasy Springs will open on June 6, 2024.

The new Orange Bird Flower And Garden Festival Ear Headband is filled with sunshine and magic! We found it at the Creations Shop in Epcot for $44.99.

It features light blue ears with an all over pattern of icons like Spaceship Earth, the Orange Bird, and gardening tools. A bright orange bow adds a pop of color and features an Orange Bird inside a pot with the Flower & Garden Festival logo in gold.

New Flower And Garden Festival Spirit Jerseys Spotted At Epcot!

Spirit jerseys are always a must when it comes to Disney merch, that’s why we want to share with you these Flower and Garden Festival spirit jerseys we spotted at the Creations Shop in Epcot!

MINNIE MOUSE FLOWER & GARDEN SPIRIT JERSEY – $79.99

The first one we found is white with a Spaceship Earth icon in blue and festival logo in purple on the front top, at the bottom, Minnie Mouse makes an appearance in her spring dress, pink hat and shoes surrounded by colorful butterflies!

Turn it around and you will find the World Showcase outline in purple and “Set Yourself Free” lettering across the back surrounded by more butterflies. Very cute and perfect for Spring.

ORANGE BIRD FLOWER & GARDEN SPIRIT JERSEY – $79.99

This spirit jersey features a green tie-dye pattern with an orange icon on the front and “The Original Florida Orange Bird” across the back. At the bottom, the Orange Bird makes an appearance inside a pot with the Flower & Garden Festival logo and surrounded by other gardening tools.

The Orange Bird makes an encore appearance along the right sleeve with more citrus fruits.

They are both great options to remember your fun adventure at the Flower & Garden Festival in Epcot!

All-New Sunglass Hut Location Opens in EPCOT

Attention, EPCOT visitors! There’s a new addition to the World Celebration Gardens that’s sure to catch your eye. A brand-new Sunglass Hut store has just opened its doors, offering a wide range of stylish sunglasses from top brands like Ray-Ban, Versace, and Prada.

The Sunglass Hut kiosk is conveniently located near the Creations Shop, making it easy for guests to stop by and browse the latest eyewear trends while exploring the park. This new store is part of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, adding a touch of fashion to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.

Sunglass Hut is no stranger to Disney parks. The brand has a long-standing relationship with Disney, operating locations at Magic Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney Springs. This new EPCOT location is just the latest addition to Sunglass Hut’s presence in the world of Disney.

Mel’s Drive-In Diner Reopens at Universal Studios Florida

We have some great news for those of you planning a visit to Universal Studios Florida! Mel’s Drive-In Diner at Universal Studios Florida has reopened its doors after a period of refurbishment, and it’s sporting some fresh updates while keeping its classic charm.

The exterior of Mel’s Drive-In remains unchanged, so you’ll still recognize the iconic diner as you approach. However, once you step inside, you’ll notice some exciting changes. The Team Members are sporting updated uniforms, saying goodbye to the pink and blue aprons and bandanas. Instead, they’re now dressed to match the diner’s revamped look.

One of the biggest changes is the shift to primarily mobile ordering. The original register counters have been removed, making way for a more streamlined experience. There’s still one register available for guests who need assistance, but most orders will be placed and picked up at the new red counter, under a shiny new marquee. Unlike some other mobile-order restaurants at the park, like Minion Cafe and Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous, your food won’t be delivered to your table. Instead, you’ll pick it up from the counter once it’s ready.

The seating has also received an upgrade. Some benches and chairs now have a dual-toned design, and the center dining area features solid red benches with black bases. These are similar to the previous style but with a fresh twist.

The Coca-Cola Freestyle machines have been themed to match the diner’s 1950s style, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere. The back dining area has undergone a significant transformation, with yellow walls and dark benches replaced by vibrant blues and reds. But don’t worry, parts of vintage automobiles and era-appropriate records still adorn the walls, keeping that classic Mel’s vibe alive.

So, if you’re craving a taste of the ’50s and some delicious diner fare, head on over to Mel’s Drive-In at Universal Studios Florida. It’s the same Mel’s you know and love, but with a few modern twists that make it even better than before!

New Flower And Garden Festival Merchandise Now At Epcot!

The new Flower And Garden Festival merchandise is in full bloom at Epcot! We visited the Creations Shop and found bright and colorful products showcasing flowers and butterflies to add whimsy to your style.

The first products we spotted were this pink t-shirt with a Mickey icon made of butterflies and the Flower and Garden Festival logo, as well as, a sun hat in white with the festival logo and garden details embroidered on the brim and a pink ribbon wrapped around it with butterflies and the the Spaceship Earth icon.

Of course a spirit jersey is also available! This year it comes in white and features a little Spaceship Earth icon with the festival logo on the front and Minnie Mouse in a beautiful dress, and matching pink hat and heels surrounded by different types of butterflies at the bottom.

Turn it around and you will find “Set Yourself Free” across the back with the World Showcase outline and butterflies flying around, so cute! It can be yours for $79.99.

Moving on to gardening products, we found a Mickey Mouse garden stone, a Minnie Mouse flower bag, a pot and garden sign, all in white and pink colors with all over patterns of butterflies, Spaceship Earth, flowers and the festival logo!

You can also get a beautiful mug featuring Minnie in her festival outfit and an all over pattern of butterflies and Spaceship Earth. The handle is shaped like a butterfly wing in blue making it extra cute.

We also found a salt or pepper shaker shaped like a trash can with a Mickey Mouse icon and festival logo. We all know trash cans have become the new tables during Epcot festivals!

Miguel & Dante from Disney Pixar’s ‘Coco’ join the 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival

EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion is now adorned with enchanting topiaries featuring Miguel and Dante from Disney Pixar’s “Coco” as part of the 2024 International Flower and Garden Festival. These vibrant displays add a touch of magic near the Choza de Margarita kiosk, enhancing the festive atmosphere of the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase.

The “Coco” topiary duo is just one of three new captivating displays introduced this year. The other additions include Asha, Valentino, and Star from “Wish,” showcased at the main entrance, and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, featured in World Discovery.

New Orange Bird Flower And Garden Festival Merchandise At Epcot!

The new Orange Bird Flower and Garden Festival merchandise we found at Epcot will help you bring the sunshine with you everywhere you go! The adorable character is back and can be found in apparel, accessories, home decor and more, take a look:

Let’s start with the spirit jersey! This one features a green tie-dye color with an orange icon on the front and “The Original Florida Orange Bird” text across the back. On the bottom the Orange Bird makes an appearance inside a planter with the Flower & Garden Festival logo. On the sleeve, the Orange Bird and citrus icons are featured for some extra details.

A new Loungefly backpack was also released in light blue with orange details, it features an all over pattern of the Orange Bird and Spaceship Earth icons and a front pocket shaped like a planter with the Orange Bird peeking through and the Flower & Garden Festival logo debossed on it.

A matching ear headband will complete your look! It features the same all over pattern as the backpack with an orange bow and Orange Bird charm in the middle, super cute!

Are you a fan of Lug bags? Then you are in luck! This crossbody features the Orange Bird face on the front pocket with embroidered details and Epcot Flower & Garden Festival logo on the back also embroidered in white and green.

Dooney & Bourke also released a new collection with a dark blue background color and brown details featuring an all over pattern of Spaceship Earth, Orange Bird, flowers and other citrus icons! There are 3 different types of bags to choose from: Tote bag, satchel bag or camera bag.

For kitchenware, we found an orange squeezer mug and an apron that will make your time in the kitchen bright and fun!

It wouldn’t be the Flower & Garden Festival without a planter and flower vase! We even found a lantern that will project different citrus shapes across the room!

For more apparel options we found a baseball cap, two shirts in peach and white and a woven button up with an all over pattern of Spaceship Earth and the Orange Bird! Very similar to the pattern in the Dooney & Bourke bags.

Finally, we also found an Orange Bird ornament, plush, pin and even an adorable magicband+!

Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt Returns to the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival

Discover the joy of exploration and entertainment during the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival with Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt. This exciting activity invites guests to embark on a quest to find Spike the Bee at various global gardens throughout the festival.

To join the scavenger hunt, simply purchase a map for $9.99+ tax at any festival merchandise location. Armed with your map, locate Spike at different gardens, and when you spot him, affix the corresponding plant sticker over the correct garden circle on the map.

Feel free to take your time completing the scavenger hunt, as it doesn’t have to be done in a single day. The festival runs through May 27th, allowing you the flexibility to enjoy the activity at your leisure.

While completing the scavenger hunt is a delightful experience on its own, it’s not a requirement to receive a prize. Cast Members will mark your map when you redeem it, irrespective of its completion level, ensuring you can claim one prize per map.
