Portrait Revealed of The Captain for the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure

In the spirit of Halloween, Disney shared a look at the portrait of the captain coming to the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure. Just last week we learned that the ship will have a Haunted Mansion-themed bar with some new happy haunts. The captain seems to be one of those ghoulish characters.

Walt Disney Imagineering shared an animated portrait of The Captain on Instagram yesterday. The Captain is a new member of the Haunted Mansion’s history.

The animated post shows the Captain in his human form and then lightning flashes and he becomes a skeleton/ghost. The transition is true to the spirit of the Haunted Mansion attraction.

“In the spirit of Halloween, enjoy this portrait of the Captain, one of our newly discovered apparitions found in the recently announced Haunted Mansion Parlor onboard the Disney Treasure.

Disney Imagineers are hard at work on the world’s first Haunted Mansion-inspired bar, where you will encounter nostalgic tributes to Haunted Mansion attractions around the world and a portrait gallery depicting the ship’s own ghostly residents.”
