We have an update on the Epic Universe Construction ready for you
Construction on Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe continues full steam ahead! The new park, which is slated to open in 2025, continues to see some great progress as construction continues to move along. Twitter user bioreconstruct has once again provided us with some great aerial pics of the construction.
The dueling/racing coaster has sidewalks/grass areas completed underneath. Work on several adjacent buildings also continues to move along. In the top left area of the photo, you can see several layers of what will eventually be Super Nintendo World in various stages of completion.

Additional areas of the park continue to have amazing progress. While we know Super Nintendo World is coming to Epic Universe, Universal has been pretty tight-lipped about other areas of the park. An expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, possibly focussing on Fantastic Beasts, is rumored with one area of the park suspected to be the Ministry of Magic.
Epic Universe is slated to be a massive park, with the entire complex covering approximately 750 acres, with the park itself covering over 100 acres. This will result in Universal Orlando nearly doubling in size via the addition of this single theme park!

Details of the Disney 100 Celebrations Throughout October
This October is a special one for The Walt Disney Company as it commemorates its 100th anniversary on Monday, October 16.
During this centennial celebration, Disney will have special activations, tie-ins, and moments that will highlight what has made this company so special to so many over the last 100 years.
For example, Disney+ will be decked out with a logo acknowledging the 100th anniversary as well as a special collection of films and series from throughout the decades.
Then there’s the highly anticipated Once Upon a Studio, a special short film that assembles some of Disney’s most iconic characters—everyone from Mickey to Moana—to take a group photo in honor of the company’s 100th. Once Upon a Studio will make its broadcast debut on Sunday, October 15, as part of ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney: Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration!, hosted by Kelly Ripa.
Disney will also be re-releasing The Lion King and Moana in theaters this month to showcase two of its most popular and beloved animated films as part of its Disney100 special engagements. The Lion King runs from September 29 to October 12 and Moana follows right after from October 13–26.
The Disney100 celebrations this October will be unlike any party Disney has held before, but as Walt Disney once said, “We are just getting started.”
