Descendants: The Rise of Red Movie Coming to Disney+ this Summer

Uma is causing a stir in the upcoming Disney+ film, “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” and we have an exclusive first glimpse!

In the latest teaser, China Anne McClain reprises her role as Ursula’s daughter, bringing a wicked twist to the beloved Disney Channel franchise. Uma is stepping into a new position as the Principal of Auradon Prep.

In the voiceover, Uma, with an air of intrigue, hints at an offer from Mal that she couldn’t resist. The teaser showcases Uma’s new office, setting the stage for her ambitious plans.

Promising a shake-up in her role, Uma announces that Auradon Prep will now be open to “all the kingdoms,” even including Wonderland. As she sends a personal letter to Princess Red, played by Kylie Cantrall, we catch a glimpse of the film’s titular character for the first time.

Derived from The Isle of the Lost book series, the original Descendants trilogy, which aired on Disney Channel from 2015 to 2019, followed the lives of four teenage offspring of iconic Disney villains. The cast included Dove Cameron as Mal, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay, and the late Cameron Boyce as Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil.

In 2021, an animated special titled “Descendants: The Royal Wedding,” centered around Mal and King Ben’s (Mitchell Hope) nuptials, was released, featuring many of the original actors reprising their roles.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is set to reopen 1900 Park Fare on April 10, and reservations are now open for guests looking to experience this beloved dining spot. The restaurant will be serving breakfast and dinner daily, with reservations available from 8 am to 12 pm and 4 pm to 9 pm.

1900 Park Fare, a Disney Dining Plan participant requiring 1 credit, promises a delightful dining experience with the added magic of Disney character appearances. Guests can look forward to encountering Aladdin in his Prince Ali attire, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana, showcasing her new look for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

While the full menu and pricing details are yet to be released, Disney has shared that some dishes will be “inspired by Disney wish-makers, like Aladdin and Tiana.” Breakfast offerings include classic favorites like Eggs Benedict, while dinner presents a taste of New Orleans with Tiana’s Gumbo. The menu features other flavorful options such as the Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup and a carving station with savory selections.

Sales Resuming for Disneyland Resort Magic Key Passes on March 5th

Disneyland Resort Magic Key passes are on sale again! The sales reopened this morning at 9 am PST. There are multiple types of passes available to purchase.

Disney announced yesterday that the annual passes would be back on sale today. Not a whole lot of notice so if you want a Magic Key Pass, head to the Disneyland website ASAP!

Enter the waiting room to purchase a Magic Key pass via the “Purchase Magic Key Passes” link on the Magic Key page.
When you arrive in the waiting room for the sale, no earlier than 8:45 AM Pacific Time, you will be automatically added to the queue. Sales will begin no earlier than 9:00 AM Pacific Time.
The quantity of passes and pass types available for upgrade or purchase may be limited or unavailable from time to time or at any given time.
Estimated wait times may fluctuate throughout the sales event. You will see an estimated wait time in the waiting room. The time will update in minute increments when your wait is less than one hour.
Upon entering the queue, make sure to review the status messages. They’ll inform you about potential limited availability or sellouts, based on your entry time.
Entry to the waiting room does not guarantee the opportunity to purchase a pass.

Keep Your Waiting Room Browser Tab Open (if you haven’t signed up to be notified by email when it’s your turn)
Running multiple browser tabs or manually refreshing the page may remove you from the queue. If you’re removed, you will have to re-enter the queue at the back of the line.

You can make your own topiaries at home from the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival

If you love the topiaries at the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival you’ll be happy to know you can now make your own topiaries at home!

You’ll find the kiosk selling starter topiaries in between the Japan pavilion and Morocco pavilion. Adorable Mickey Mouse, bunnies, hearts and more are for sale.

These might be one of the cutest and most unique souvenirs to take home from the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! Pricing starts at $54.99.

The most popular topiary is the Mickey Mouse one. He is $60.99 and comes with a creeping fig vine.

Some Scaffolding has come down around Columbia Harbour House

The scaffolding has been removed from the Liberty Square side of Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom, unveiling its revitalized exterior and the reinstatement of the old lamps.

Previously, this section of the quick-service restaurant was completely obscured by scaffolding and scrim. Despite ongoing construction, the doors and stairs leading out of the restaurant remained accessible.

The original lamps have returned, replacing the generic Home Depot lamps that were hastily installed on the ceiling in early February. While the surrounding ceiling was later repainted to improve its appearance slightly, the reinstatement of the old lamps marks a significant enhancement.

Scaffolding continues to stand adjacent to the main entrance of Columbia Harbour House. Encased in scrim and bordered by construction walls, the scaffolding extends to the top of the building.
