Star Wars Day Park Reservations Sold Out for Hollywood Studios

If you’re a Star Wars fan, its likely you’ve heard of Star Wars Day, or otherwise known as “May the 4th”. Originating from the famous catch phrase “May the Force be with you”, Star Wars super fans gather from around the world to unite and celebrate this exciting day with light sabers, costumes and more!

Many people chose to spend May the 4th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Because the park holds the extremely popular area Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, it’s the ideal place to spend the day, and reservations sell out very quickly. As for this year’s May the 4th, reservations at the theme park are already completely full.

If you missed the opportunity to get a reservation for May the 4th this year, we suggest making reservations as soon as you can for 2025. Spending the day at home but still want to feel like you’re part of the adventure the Star Wars movies bring? Thanks to Disney+, you can spend the day having a Star Wars movie marathon! New Animated World Of Super Mario Bros Film Coming in 2026

Illumination and Nintendo, the video game giant, have teamed up for an upcoming animated film centered around the Super Mario Bros. universe. Scheduled for a theatrical release on April 3, 2026, in both the U.S. and international markets, the movie will be directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, with Matthew Fogel penning the screenplay.

The project will be co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo, with Universal handling worldwide distribution for the theatrical release. Melendantri, the founder and CEO of Illumination, along with Shigeru Miyamoto, Representative Director and Fellow of Nintendo, will serve as producers.

Expressing enthusiasm for the collaboration, Illumination highlighted their commitment to bringing joy and discovery to audiences of all ages worldwide, as they continue their partnership with Nintendo.

“By getting deeply involved in the movie production with the aim to put smiles on everyone’s faces through entertainment, Nintendo will continue its efforts to produce unique entertainment and deliver it to as many people as possible,’ the company said.

The Super Mario Brothers film was one of the year’s biggest films, being overtaken by only Barbie with 1.3 Billion dollars (1.4 Barbie). The film was a triumph for the studios, therefore a sequel doesn’t surprise anyone as they would love to capitalize on “Mario Fever.”

You can grab yours at the popcorn cart in Mickey’s Toontown, making it a special celebration as the re-imagined landmarks its one-year anniversary.

Swirls on the Water serves up a variety of tasty treats, including an array of Dole Whip offerings. We checked out their latest flight that debuted for Spring, and can say they once again have hit it out of the park!

Guests looking to learn more about the benefits of joining Disney Vacation Club (DVC) now have a new location to stop in. The Gateway to Discovery, a DVC Welcome Home Center, has opened at Disney Springs.

Guests will find the new welcome center in the space that was formally occupied by Alex and Ani in the Town Center area.

The location provides information about all of the current DVC offerings from around the world, and features interactive displays and a few fun phot ops!

The welcome center will also be the home to a DVC members lounge, which is not yet completed and slated to open later this year.

Disney Genie+ at Walt Disney World has Surged in Price Today as Spring Break Begins

Disney Genie+ prices at Walt Disney World have experienced a significant surge today, coinciding with the commencement of Spring Break for some local Orlando area schools.

The cost of Disney Genie+ has soared by more than 30 percent compared to the previous day, reaching the highest prices observed in 2024. Notably, prices have increased by as much as $7, with Animal Kingdom seeing a jump from $18 to $25. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has risen by $6 to $32, EPCOT is up $7 to $28, and both Magic Kingdom and the Multi-Park option have increased by $6 to $35.

As of today, all four parks are just a few dollars shy of their all-time highs recorded during Christmas in 2023.

While individual Lightning Lane prices have reached their peak, they remain unchanged from the previous day.

Disney World Extends Theme Park Hours in Late March 3

For those unfamiliar, Disney Genie+ is a purchase option integrated into the Disney Genie service, providing access to the former FastPass line at select attractions, now referred to as Lightning Lane. Notably, some headline attractions are excluded from Genie+, and access to Lightning Lane at these specific attractions requires an additional Individual Attraction purchase, the pricing of which varies.
