EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion Model Railroad Receives Update
Walt Disney loved miniatures and trains! The Germany pavilion in Epcot has an amazing model railroad and it was recently updated with new buildings and landscaping.
Within the Germany Pavilion, you’ll discover a model railway showcasing several impressive G-scale trains, renowned for being some of the most sizeable miniature trains available, with dimensions ranging from 1:22.5 to 1:29. This remarkable railway is situated on the far right side of the Germany Pavilion in World Showcase.
The railway was originally installed as part of the Flower and Garden Festival and was not meant to be a permanent display. Guests loved it so much Disney decided to keep it. The decorations in the model are updated with each festival throughout the year.
The most recent update brought several new buildings scattered throughout the railway display.

Nearly the entire pavilion, including Coral Reef restaurant, has been painted a light tan color. This exterior work has been happening for almost a month now. When we were there this week we noticed the seagull animatronics are still missing from the sign.
There are still some areas of the building that painting has not been completed yet. With the new tan paint, the pavilion looks very similar to how it looked when it opened in 1986.

New Disney100 Spaceship Earth Medallion on Display Near the World Showcase in EPCOT
A new Disney100 Spaceship Earth medallion is now on display in Epcot near the World Showcase! This new medallion is part of the Disney100 decor honoring the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.
You can see the medallion on the opposite side of the planter holding the platinum Disney100 Mickey Mouse statue. It’s facing Spaceship Earth and on either side there are small platinum planters housing Disney100 banners.
The medallion itself is circular like the other medallions in the park. It shows the Disney100 logo against a Spaceship Earth pattern. Different lighting reflects different colors on the platinum medallion.

NEW ‘The Tale of Moana’ Show Debuting December 2024 on the Disney Treasure
Today Disney Cruise Line announced a brand-new original Broadway-style production coming to the Disney Treasure: “Disney The Tale of Moana.” The new show will join a dazzling lineup of fan-favorite shows including “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Adventure” onboard Disney’s Cruise Line’s newest ship that will set sail in December 2024.
Premiering exclusively at the Walt Disney Theatre aboard the Disney Treasure, “Disney The Tale of Moana” is set to elevate the adventurous journey of Moana, inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, to a captivating center stage experience. For the first time ever, audiences will be immersed in the live performance that unfolds Moana’s daring quest to save her island, chosen by the ocean to restore the heart of Te Fiti.

Loki Season 2 is the Second Most Viewed Season Premiere On Disney+ This Year
Following its successful first season, which took us deep into the world of the TVA- Time Variance Authority, Loki Season 2 made its triumphant return on Disney+ last week.
The second season premiere of “Loki” stands as the second-most-watched season debut on Disney+ in 2023, amassing a global viewership of 10.9 million within its initial three days of streaming on Disney+. This achievement was second only to the season three premiere of “The Mandalorian,” which premiered on Disney+ in March.
Notably, Loki Season 2 starring Tom Hiddleston as the cunning God of Mischief, garnered acclaim not just from its audience but also from critics. The second season of the Marvel Studios series boasts an impressive 88% rating on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, earning it the “certified fresh” label, alongside an outstanding 94% audience approval rating on the same platform.
Since his introduction in the 2011 film “Thor,” Loki has grown to become one of the most adored characters in the vast Marvel Universe. New Lead Writer / Director Selected for Tiana Animated Disney+ Series
In an exciting development, Disney+ has chosen Joyce Sherri as the lead writer and director for their upcoming animated series, “Tiana,” as exclusively reported by Variety. This series, originally announced in 2020, is a much-anticipated follow-up to the beloved 2009 animated film “The Princess and the Frog,” and it is set to bring the character of Tiana back to life, voiced once again by Anika Noni Rose.

Dole Partners With Disney’s Wish For Healthy Living Initiative
Dole and Disney are partnering up once again for the upcoming release of Disney’s Wish, which arrives exclusively in theaters on Nov. 22, 2023, Asha lives in the fantastical land of Rosas where a magical king promises to make wishes come true.
Dole Food Company will honor this universal spirit of optimism and hope with a six-month initiative that strives to help make the world’s wishes for health, happiness and wellness come true. Through a host of in-store, at-home and virtual activities, the global produce and healthy-living leader will spotlight the anticipated new film and continue the celebration of 100 years of Disney Animation that inspired it.
Dole’s “Making Healthy Wishes Comes True” campaign launches today as the latest manifestation of a health and wellness licensing collaboration with The Walt Disney Company that started in 2016. Continuing through March 31, 2024, this new program includes enchanted recipes, interactive digital downloads, in-store collectible stickers, and a series of inspirational how-to virtual classes sparked by Asha and the other inhabitants of Rosas.
“For 100 years Disney has shown us that there’s no greater magic in the universe than a true wish in your heart,” said Bil Goldfield, Dole’s director of communications. “At Dole our wish is to make the world a healthier place. A special feature of the campaign is a set of six collectible DOLE® Banana stickers and one unique DOLE® Pineapple tag featuring Asha, Star, Dahlia, Valentino, Queen Amaya and King Magnifico from Disney’s Wish on tens of millions of pieces of Dole-branded fruit at supermarkets across North America.
