Marvel Studios Reveals First Look at “Captain America: Brave New World”
The highly anticipated teaser trailer and poster for Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World” are finally here, featuring Anthony Mackie taking the helm as Captain America. Fans first saw Mackie’s character, Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, assume the iconic shield in the 2021 Disney+ series finale of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.”
The film sees Captain America facing an international crisis, entangled in a complex global plot orchestrated by a mysterious mastermind. The stakes are high as Sam races to uncover the truth before it’s too late.
Adding to the excitement, Harrison Ford makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross.
Alongside Mackie and Ford, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast including Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson.

The resort is currently in the process of replacing its electric fencing, a crucial feature that ensures the safety and well-being of its animal residents. This project is being carried out meticulously, section by section, to minimize any disruption to the animals.
The electric fencing at Animal Kingdom Lodge plays a vital role in maintaining a safe environment for the diverse array of animals that call the resort home. By replacing the fencing, Disney is committed to upholding the highest standards of care and safety for these animals.
Minimizing Disruption
Understanding the importance of a stress-free environment for the animals, the project is being carefully managed. Each section of fencing is being replaced individually, allowing the animals to continue their daily routines with minimal interference. Guests can still enjoy the breathtaking views of the savannahs and the unique experience of observing the animals in their natural habitats.

This summer, emotions are running high as Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” has surpassed the $1.25 billion mark globally, making it the studio’s highest-grossing film ever. The movie, which has earned $543 million in the U.S. and $708 million internationally, now sits atop Pixar’s box office records, leaving Joy dancing with glee. Previously, “Incredibles 2” held the record with $1.24 billion. “Inside Out 2” is also the top film of 2024 and the fourth highest-grossing animated movie of all time, trailing behind “Frozen,” “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” and “Frozen II.”
“Inside Out 2,” Pixar’s 28th film, follows Riley as she navigates her teenage years with her lively emotions, now including Anxiety. Directed by Kelsey Mann and featuring a star-studded voice cast, the film has received rave reviews and an A grade from CinemaScore exit polls. It surpassed box office expectations, earning about $155 million in its opening weekend in the U.S. and Canada, which was about 70 percent higher than predictions, much to the relief of fans and critics alike.
The movie’s success is a significant win for Pixar, which faced challenges during the pandemic. After releasing “Onward” just before lockdowns, Pixar’s next three films went straight to Disney+. Last year’s “Elemental” had a slow start but eventually earned around $500 million globally. Jaleo, led by the famous Chef José Andrés, brings the flavors of Spain to Disney Springs. The menu features a wide variety of tapas, traditional Spanish small plates, alongside savory paellas and an impressive selection of Spanish wines, sangrias, and handcrafted cocktails.

Two new Halloween t-shirts have arrived at Magic Kingdom! Both are heathered gray and feature a cute ghost with the words “My Boo”. There are some big differences in the shirts, however.
One of the shirts features a Mickey Mouse ghost (wearing Mickey ears) holding a pumpkin candy bucket while the other shirt features a Minnie Mouse ghost (wearing Minnie ears) holding a pumpkin candy bucket. Both shirts also have a yellow moon, a few white stars, and three black bats in the design.
These shirts are perfect for the Halloween season for couples that want to match or coordinate their outfit! Will you be grabbing these frightfully fun shirts?
Cinderella Castle Stage Refurbishment has begun at Magic Kingdom
The Cinderella Castle stage is undergoing a three-week makeover! This refurbishment is likely to get it ready for the festive holiday shows coming up, such as those for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
The Cinderella Castle stage is currently surrounded by a special curtain, called a scrim. This scrim hides the ongoing construction from view. Signs hanging around the scrim politely ask guests to “please pardon our pixie dust” while the refurbishment takes place.
Part of the refurbishment involves replacing the flooring, which makes sense considering it’s an outdoor venue that sees a lot of use and Florida rain. Crews have already removed several sections for this refresh.
Peek through the gaps in the Cinderella Castle stage refurbishment and you’ll see a glimpse of its underbelly! Metal grates, wooden supports, and black rubber strips are currently exposed where the flooring has been removed. This is likely to be replaced with new, weatherproof sheathing before the beautiful new floor goes in.
While the Cinderella Castle stage undergoes a magical makeover for the upcoming holidays, the shows there will be on a short break for three weeks. Don’t worry, the refurbishment shouldn’t disrupt your castle exploration! You can still climb the ramps and walk right through Cinderella Castle itself. The shows are expected to return on July 28th, ready to sparkle for the next season.

Some of the most prominent names from across the worlds of Disney will be onsite to meet with guests at Talent Central that will be open each day on the show floor of the Anaheim Convention Center. Various Disney artists—including incoming Disney Legend Mark Henn; Disney Animation director Ron Clements; Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer, Pete Docter; Marvel Comics’ creators; the voice of Donald Duck, Tony Anselmo; and current and former Imagineers—will be available to sign complimentary exclusive lithographs, fine-art prints, posters, and other art related to their projects. Universal Studios has just announced an exciting and chilling addition to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights: Insidious: The Further! This terrifying haunted house is sure to send shivers down your spine as you navigate through the eerie and otherworldly realm of The Further.
In Insidious: The Further, you will encounter some of the most frightening demons from the Insidious film series. The Red-Faced Demon, one of the most iconic and terrifying entities, will lure you into his lair behind The Red Door. Beware, as he seeks to possess your living body, trapping you in his sinister domain. But that’s not all. KeyFace, another horrifying demon, will use his key-tipped fingers to unlock your deepest fears. His goal is to keep your soul trapped in The Further forever. This marks the second Insidious appearance at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando, with the first Insidious house appearing back in 2015.
This marks the ninth house announcement for this year’s event, with the final intellectual property (IP) house likely to be a Universal Monsters-themed house.
