10. Yak & Yeti – Located in the Animal Kingdom Theme Park, this is one of the few places in the park to enjoy a non-character table service meal. Serving Asian inspired foods, it offers a nice mix of traditional and fusion style food. Check out the Kobe beef burger and the Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp. If you’re looking for a quieter meal, ask for a seat on the second floor. It’s a great place to recharge in the park. The decor in this restaurant provides a nice backdrop for a meal, as well.

Rubber Duck Charity Race at Disneyland

Rubber Duck Charity Race

Hundreds of rubber ducks raced around the world for a cause at the 5th annual “it’s a small world” duck race! Cast members sponsored and decorated the ducks to raise more than $1,800 for Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire before Disneyland park opened.

The cast fundraiser carries forward the attraction’s legacy of supporting children, dating back to the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair when it was created in honor of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

When one of the toys goes missing, the rest are left with the mystery to figure out what has happened to their missing friend, and how to make sure it doesn’t happen to them as well. The shorts sees the return of familiar faces Buzz, Woody, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, and Jessie, with Jessie taking center stage this time around. Producer Galyn Susman told TV guide why they chose to make Jessie front in center this time around:

“We’ve gotten to see a lot of development in Woody and in Buzz and we felt it was Jesse’s turn to really show some growth.”

Surely this troubled girl must be insane and her doctors aim to cure her with a treatment that will make her forget everything. Alice seems ready to put it all behind her, especially the painful memory of the genie she fell in love with and lost forever—the handsome and mysterious Cyrus (Peter Gadiot). But deep down Alice knows this world is real and just in the nick of time, the sardonic Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) and the irrepressible White Rabbit (John Lithgow) arrive to save her from a doomed fate.
