off Kilter

Ladies and Gentlemen, drum roll please…Anonymouse is back! Chipperoo had me running all over the World digging up new Disney Gossip for you. Today’s Disney Gossip is straight from EPCOT – more entertainers will be playing their last gigs on September 27th!

Sources say this change will affect Off Kilter, MoRockin and Spirit of American Fife & Drum. I loved taking a break out of my day to watch these talented individuals. Maybe, I’ll have to sneak a quick trip back to EPCOT before September 27th, but don’t tell Chip…

Here is the official post from Disney Parks Blog:

Today, we have news about some updates coming to World Showcase at Epcot. One of the best parts of the World Showcase experience is feeling fully immersed in the culture of each country, and the live entertainment presented in the international pavilions plays a large role in creating that atmosphere. Beginning this fall, we will be refreshing the atmosphere entertainment around World Showcase with the addition of new acts and enhancements to some existing performances.

New experiences debuting over the next several months will contribute to the rich mix of entertainment at Epcot, and provide fresh experiences for our guests. In the near future, you can look forward to enjoying a traditional Berber music and dance troupe in Morocco, a corps of dynamic flag-waving performers in Italy, a thrilling lumberjack-inspired show in Canada, a Celtic folk music ensemble at the United Kingdom, and more.

As we embark on this enhancement of World Showcase entertainment, we bid a fond farewell to Mo’Rockin’, Off Kilter, Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps and World Showcase Players. We thank these performers for all they’ve done to make the Epcot guest experience enjoyable and memorable, and we invite you to come out and see them in their farewell performances over the next few weeks.

More details will be shared, as they become available, about the timing of certain transitions, as well as each of the exciting new entertainment additions coming to World Showcase.

What are your thoughts about losing more EPCOT entertainment?

Please leave your comments in my comment section below. I can’t wait to read them.

Anywho, that is all the Disneygossip I have right now. For my past gossip articles be sure to check them out here. Got any good gossip/rumors please email me at [email protected] or on my facebook page.

Adventure Trading Company Says Goodbye to Disneyland

Sadly, the end of the Adventure Trading Company’s limited-time engagement at Disneyland  has come. It is reported that they ran out of supplies not to long ago.  The word on the street is that Adventure Trading Company might have another surprise in the works

Friday, Aug. 29 is their last day in Adventureland. The Adventure Trading Company will be gathering stories from the local Juju Traders with story packets, which will be available for purchase at Indiana Jones Outpost.

Here is the breakdown:

  • Inside each story packet is a Story Tag, which adventurers can use to record their greatest Juju tales.
  • They will then report to Aladdin’s Oasis, where Adventure Trading Company representatives and local historians will be on hand to collect their stories and thank the “head storytellers” of Adventureland with a special mystery Juju.
  • As the day continues, all Story Tags will be collected and displayed on Story Lines inside Aladdin’s Oasis for all your fellow explorers to see.

Come prepared to share your stories!

“Full House” Might Make a Comeback

Full House

According to multiple sources a revival of the 90’s favorite “Full House” may be in the early stages of development. Keep in mind nothing is official yet, but how awesome would that be?

It is said that John Stamos is heading the comeback, along with the creator Jeff Franklin and the producer Bob Boyett. The re-runs air on Nick at Nite and they do very well with about 1.5 million viewers. So of course Warner Bros wants to capitalize on the continued success.

“Full House” did really well on the popular T.G.I.F line up.

If you watch the show on Bravo called “Watch What Happens Live” then you may have Stamos on there and he did hint at something when he said “We’re sort of working on a twist on a sequel.”

What do you think?

What to do when it’s COLD at Disney!

New packages for 2015 are out now and this means planning for winter trips is right around the corner!

I love going to Disney when it’s chilly.  It never really stays COLD all day, it normally warms up by afternoon.  Here are some tips if you are planning a trip and it looks like there is going to be a cold snap during your visit.

1.  Pack gloves and a hat.  I know it sounds silly if you are going to Florida, but they take up little to no space in your luggage and you will be glad you have them.  You can shed them as you warm up during the day.  No one wants to ride a roller coaster in the wind without gloves if it is already cold out!

2.  Drink some cocoa – this always helps, plus it’s fun to do for a treat.

3.  Layer.  Start with a tshrt, then a long sleeve, lastly a sweatshirt.  You can peel them off one by one and put them back on one by one too.  No need to carry a big bag around – stash everyone’s sweatshirt in a locker if you don’t want to lug it around.

4.  Skip the winter coat.  Yes, really.  It’s too bulky to carry if you decide to shed it.  This goes along with #3 – layers are better than a big puffy coat.  If you have a North Face type of jacket, this is perfect for layering under – they make cheap knock-offs at WalMart that we bought before our last winter trip.  I even found cool Disney pins to put on the chest – it was a fun surprise on the way to the airport.

5.  Hollywood Studios is great if it’s cold.  Most of the rides are indoors and you can speed walk from one to the next.  Avoid the World Showcase at Epcot, especially if it’s windy.  That is a chilly, long, walk.

6.  If your kids are in a stroller, bring some blankets.  You can even just grab a towel or two from your hotel room.  You may be warmer than they are since you are doing the walking and pushing!

7.  SKIP the water rides.  This just goes without saying…

8.  If you get REALLY cold like me and will stay that way for the day, wear some Under Armour.  I wore Under Armour leggings under cargo pants in February when it was freezing.  I was able to ditch the sweatshirt before everyone else and felt much less encumbered.

8.  Hold hands (doesn’t this always warm you up?)  Plus, it’s Disney and you should be holding hands with your family!

10,  Did you skip the weather forecast all together and pack just tank tops?  Catch a cab and head to the closest Wal Mart.  You may want to buy an extra duffle bag or two to get all of your new clothes home!

Changes are Coming to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

MNSSHP
MNSSHP

MNSSHP

I love Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, not only is it the best event of the year but the weather is much better in the fall.

This year the party will be a bit different. The villains will be out like never before during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

There will also be a few other additions and magical enhancements coming to the party. There are as follows:

The “Villains Mix & Mingle – Live on Stage” will still take place at the Castle Forecourt Stage several times each night. If you want to meet a few villains you will now be able to at different spots around the park.

  • Jafar can be found in in Adventureland
  • The Queen of Hearts will be close to the Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland
  • Lotso will be near Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland.

If you will be visiting Snow White or Aurora at Princess Fairytale Hall be on the lookout because The Queen and Maleficent just might make an unexpected appearance.

New this year is Club Villain which takes over The Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square. There you can party with Cruella De Vil, Dr. Facilier, Anastasia, Drizella, Lady Tremaine, and a few more!

My favorite parade Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade will also see some magical enhancements one is the expansion of the Phineas and Ferb Creepa Crew pre-parade interactive experience to more of the parade route.

Drum Roll please, this year will be the first ever appearance of Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope in the parade.

Let’s not forget one of the best parts of Halloween, the candy of course! There will still be all the treat trails that we are used to. Don’t forget the Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball in Tomorrowland, appearances by Jack and Sally and my favorite part of the night,  the ride of the Headless Horseman. I advise you get to the parade route as early as possible so that you do not miss t he ride of the Headless Horseman. He does ride quite a bit before the parade. Tan you can end your night with  “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks, which I also think are the best fireworks!

For this year the separately ticketed event has been extended to 26 nights, from September 1 through Halloween night, October 31.

Are you going? I highly recommend this party, it is worth every penny!

Steve Martin May Star in Disney’s “Magic Camp”

Steve Martin
Steve Martin

Steve Martin

Steve Martin is in talks with Disney to star in “Magic Camp”, which is a family comedy being developed by Disney. He co-wrote this project with A.C.O.D. writer/director Stu Zicherman, based on a first draft by Diary of a Wimpy Kid scribes Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah.

The story tells of a straitlaced banker who returns to Magic Camp, which he attended as a shy child. This time he is a counselor who makes it his mission to improve the lives of all the kids while keeping an eye on his ultimate prize, the top spot at the Golden Wand competition.

F.Y.I, Did you know that he got his start working at the Magic Shop in Disneyland and he was also a magician in his younger days.

Steve Martin has been around for a while now but I think his most well known collaboration with Disney was the Father of the Bride movies.
