Kevin Bacon made an appearance today at an Orlando-area nonprofit resort for children with terminal illnesses near Walt Disney World. See the video below.

Is Tables in Wonderland being discontinued?

TIW2

Hello Disney Fans it is I Anonymouse! Serving up the hottest in Disney Gossip from the deepest darkest regions on the interwebs. Believe it or not I use Twitter. Occasionally I help Chump I mean Chip on his Twitter account from time to time. While scouring twitter I have seen quite a few posts talking about Disney’s Tables in Wonderland.

If you have no idea what Tables in Wonderland is check out this article. It is a great money saving option for DVC, Annual Passholders and Florida State guests. I have used it many a year. The latest gossip is that Tables in Wonderland is being discontinued end of 2016, with the sales of membership being halted at the end of 2015.

That makes me want to cry! Not everyone wants to do a Disney Dining Plan, or for people like me who live at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival a DDP isn’t worth it for me. Well chalk this up to the list of things Disney is getting rid of…

I want to hear what you think? Have you ever used TIW? Are you a member now? Will you miss it? Let me know in the comment box below.

Anywho, this all the Disney gossip I have for now. For my past gossip articles be sure to check them out here. Got any good gossip/rumors please email me at anonymouse@chipandco.com or on my Facebook page

Disney Cruise Line To Discontinue Mickey Mail Character Autograph Service Soon

Screen Shot 2015 07 27 at 4.40.06 PM
Screen Shot 2015 07 27 at 4.40.06 PM

Mickey Mail to be discontinued

Disney Cruisers…I have some sad news to share today.  The Disney Cruise Line will soon begin phasing out their onboard character autograph request (aka- Mickey Mail).  For those of you unfamiliar with the service, this popular and unadvertised perk allowed you to drop off a pillow case, photo matte, autograph book or any other item along with markers to Guest Services for the characters to sign.  You could request specific characters sign during the sailing and on the last night of the cruise, your items would be magically returned back to your stateroom during turndown service.

The discontinuation  of Mickey Mail will begin on all new Disney Cruise Line sailings embarking after August 7th, 2015:

  • Disney Dream- August 7, 2015
  • Disney Fantasy- August 8, 2015
  • Disney Magic- August 10, 2015
  • Disney Wonder- August 10, 2015

A specific reason for the discontinuation has not yet been provided, but, one could guess that this once little known service has become increasing popular due to Guests sharing this tip on blogs, message forums and Pinterest.  Hopefully Disney comes up with an alternative plan soon, but, in the meantime, be sure to carry your item(s) you would like autographed onboard in case you bump into your favorite characters!

Disney Finds – Hand-painted Disney Shoes

M&M

Looking on Etsy there are hundreds of people who hand paint Disney Shoes. From Mickey & Minnie to the Disney Parks. Probably one of the best designers I have seen is ChromaSouls. While a little more expensive that some of the other designers the quality of their work is top notch. Here are some examples of their fun designs:

Keep in mind the shoes you see are just samples of their work. All of their shoes are Custom based off of the designs you pick. Here is how it works…

Custom Painted Shoes in 5 easy steps!

Step 1: Get a pair of shoes, old or new, in any color that you want to be painted and personalized!

Step 2: Brainstorm! What do you want on these shoes? Do you have a favorite animal? Movie? Tv Show? Book? Photo? Painting? Hobby? I can do anything you think of.

Step 3: Message me what you want on your shoes, and I will sketch out designs until we have the PERFECT one.

Step 4: Ship me your shoes, and I will paint them until they are exactly what you are looking for. I will send you pictures of the progress and final design. Then I ship them right back to you!

Step 5: WEAR YOUR BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM PAINTED SHOES! Have the happiest feet in the world. And be the envy of all others with plain boring shoes. Then give them my info 🙂

It is just that easy. So to get started visit their shop and look at some of their work and then when you get an idea of what you would like go from there.

Happy Shopping!
