Charlie Brown plans to celebrate the holiday by curling up with a big book that weighs nearly as much as he does, Tolstoy’s “War and Peace.” The book’s weight doesn’t stop him from lugging it to Lucy’s pre-party dance class, where he cuts a mean rug with a rollicking Patty. With just 1,131 pages to go, Charlie Brown takes another break, this time for the party, and summons the courage to invite his true love, the little red-haired girl. She doesn’t respond, but hapless Chuck shows up anyway – with Tolstoy in tow. Amorette’s Patisserie Autumn Gingerbread Pumpkin & Mickey Mouse Pastries Review

AGP

Amorette’s Patisserie Disney Springs offers amazing pastries that are great for one, or two, people.  The Gingerbread Pumpkin is available through the Autumn Season and the mini Mickey Mouse has been added as a permanent addition to the menu.

The limited time Gingerbread Pumpkin  pastry is delectable.  It features gingerbread chiffon cake at the base and a dome of pumpkin and chocolate mousse topped with white chocolate and dark chocolate ganache.  The gingerbread chiffon cake base is moist and chewy while the mousse literally melts in your mouth.  The flavors of gingerbread and pumpkin are excellent and do not power over one another.  I highly recommend trying the Gingerbread Pumpkin particularly since it will only be available for a limited time.

The mini Mickey Mouse  pastry is the most adorable sweet treat I have ever seen.  With its chocolate chiffon cake base, white chocolate and dark chocolate mousse dome center, topped with Orange Pate de Fruit Jelly and dark chocolate Mickey Ears, this sweet treat cannot be beat.  The chocolate chiffon cake is moist, but does not fall apart when you cut it.  The fruit jelly adds a nice texture and flavor to the white chocolate and dark chocolate mousse.

Chef Noah and his team at Amorette’s Patisserie have outdone themselves this Autumn season with these additional sweet offerings. The Gingerbread Pumpkin is the best I have tasted since they opened their doors at Disney Springs.  The mini Mickey Mouse pastry was flying off the shelves of the display case as soon as they added them.  Each of the cakes, featured in this article, cost $8 each. While it is a little pricey for one person, the quality of the pastry is phenomenal.

My favorite of the two with regards to flavor and texture is the Gingerbread Pumpkin.  The Mickey Mouse pastry definitely wins for the quality of the cuteness in presentation.

Which pastry will you try on your next visit to Amorette’s Patisserie?  Please leave your comments in the box below.

Glowingly Beautiful Disney Inspired Candle Holders

Disney Inspired Candle Holders

I do so love the soft glow of candle light. Of course I have lots of Disney inspired Disney fragrance candles. However I could use some more Disney Inspired Candle Holders, like this one by NeverlandHeadbandz on Etsy.

These unique candleholders bring the happiness of Disney to any home. The first design that caught my eye, features the castle on 2 sides and Mickey and Minnie with the love sign on the 2 others. These would be fabulous for sliding a Disney inspired Jar Candle in, like the Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream one I love!

There’s a lot of fun designs available, including one inspired by Rapunzel’s lanterns!

What do you think of these gorgeous Disney Inspired Candle Holders?

Are you waiting in anticipation for Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2 to come out in theaters? Well, we are one step closer to this happening. Today Pixar Animation Studios announced updated release dates for each movie, so here they are so you can mark your calendars accordingly: The Incredibles 2 will come out June 15, 2018 and Toy Story 4 will come out June 21, 2019. Here’s a brief on what is happening so far:

TOY STORY 4
John Lasseter, director of the original Toy Story and Toy Story 2, will direct the film, which opens a new chapter in the lives of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the Toy Story gang. The story was dreamt up by Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich, the storytellers who have been the driving force behind all three Toy Story films. The film is written by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack.
“We love these characters so much; they are like family to us,” said Lasseter. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before. Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie—and I wanted to direct it myself.”
THE INCREDIBLES 2
“It’ll be more Incredibles. I’m not going to give up anything! I come down on the side of surprise,” says Brad Bird.

Where as not much as said about The Incredible 2, we did get some info on Toy Story 4, and we finally have the release dates! Are you excited to See these new Pixar flicks?

Two Incidents of Trying to Bring a Gun into Disney Parks in One Day

Gun into Disney

On Wednesday October 25th, two separate individuals tried to bring loaded hand guns in with them into Disney parks. After much speculation and chatter it was finally revealed that not 1, but 2 people were arrested on Wednesday for trying to bring a Gun into Disney.

Baleigh Turner, 23, of Alabama was found with a gun in her back pack while entering Animal Kingdom. Michael Langston, 61, of Louisiana, declared his weapon when asked randomly to go through the metal detector at Epcot. Langston claimed he realized he left his gun in his backpack, and realized when half way to the park on the shuttle. Reports say he didn’t want to turn around, so slipped the gun into the back of his pants. Turner, claimed she had a concealed carry permit, which turned out to be expired. Regardless of permits firearms are not allowed at Disney Parks.

It’s a relief that Disney has updated their Park Security, now all guests without bags must go through the metal detector.
