Disney’s Moana has earned $81.1 Million dollars over the 5 day Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend box office with $55 Million for just the weekend alone.
Moana now ranks as the second biggest Thanksgiving Weekend debut ever just behind “Frozen,” which made $93.6 million in its first five days.

According to Orlando Theme Park News Disney is offering special themed nights every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night in the month of December at the Atlantic Dance Hall.

According to the Orange County Register a man has jumped to his death at one of the Disneyland Parking Structures.
The death occurred at the Mickey & Friends parking structure in Disneyland a little after 2 a.m. on Friday according to the Coroner’s office report.
The paramedics were on the scene immediately and rushed the man to UC Irvine Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:08 a.m. Friday.
The parking structure has been the scene of two other such incidents in the past few years.

If you’re traveling to Orlando for vacation and are planning on spending only one day at Walt Disney World, then you will want to come armed with a strategy. WHY do you need a strategy, you might be wondering? Well, the reason is – there is SO MUCH to do and see at Walt Disney World that your instinct will be to try and cram it all into that one day. RESIST that urge – trust me – you will be much happier if you slow down, and use these tips.
Here’s my list of “Do’s and Don’t’s” for doing WDW in one day:
Do’s:
Research: Especially if this is your first time to WDW, you will want to do some reading up on the different rides, theme parks, shows, and food you will find at Disney. There are plenty of places to do this research – my personal fave being the chip and co website of course! And there are tons of great guidebooks out there, and the official Walt Disney World Site is helpful, too
DO Plan: Once you’ve done some research and reading up on all that Disney World has to offer (which is a LOT!), you can make a rough itinerary for your day at WDW – read more on that here. In addition to picking out which parks and rides you want to hit, I also recommend you make an ADR for at least one meal (ADR stands for Advance Dining Reservation – read more about that and why it’s important here
DO Prioritize: This goes hand in hand with planning – Let each person in your family pick their one MUST DO ride/attraction, and if you can, try and get a fastpass+ reservation for most/all of them. And keep a mental (or real!) list of everyone’s second choices – and try and do them if time permits. Make sure everyone – especially the little ones – know that they might not get to ride everything they want to ride, and prepare them for that ahead of time to avoid park meltdowns!
DO Pack Smart: No one is thrilled about the idea of lugging a bag around all day, but when you’re visiting Disney World there are some things you just HAVE to bring along with you – and to tote them I recommend a backpack with decent padding on the shoulder straps. Ponchos are a must have (one time use versions can be purchased at the dollar store), as is sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, snacks (things like trail mix, nuts, hard candies, granola bars, and pretzels are good choices), a small first aid kit (stocked with normal first aid items, and also with some over the counter pain meds and tums, too!) , and a spare pair of socks (your feet will sweat a lot in the Florida sun and heat – gross I know, but a smart thing to pack nonetheless!). Don’t’s
DON’T Over Plan: I mention planning and an itinerary in the “Do” section – and while I wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of both of those, I caution against overdoing it. Don’t plan out every minute of every day, and leave some room for spontaneity! Be realistic, and be flexible when it comes to checking off items on your Disney “to do” list
DON’T Try To Do It All: Is it physically possible to do all 4 theme parks in one day? Yes…but do I recommend it? NO WAY! It would be way too much to try and cram in, and you wouldn’t have any time to slow down and enjoy the fact that you’re at the most Magical place on earth! So I recommend you choose one or AT MOST two WDW theme parks to visit, and focus on enjoying the rides, shows, and atmospheres at each of them!
DON’T Skip the following items: sunscreen re-application every hour, hydration, and wearing comfortable sneakers for your day at Disney (seriously –as much as you may want to slip on those flip flops, your feet will be hating you by noon for it)

Don’t miss an awesome marathon of Pokémon animation on Monday, December 5, when Pokémon the Series begins its move to its new home on Disney XD. The marathon kicks off with the debut of Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. In this stunning movie, Ash and the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion must join together for a mission to rescue Magearna from a foe who wants to use Magearna’s mysterious power to take control of the kingdom!
The marathon continues with a sneak peek at Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, the next exciting season of Pokémon animation coming to Disney XD next year. Watch Ash and friends take their first steps into the Alola region in the first two episodes of the upcoming season.
On the same day, head to Pokemon.com for the first chance to get the Mythical Pokémon Magearna, one of the stars of the new movie. Players who have already finished their Alola adventure can scan a QR Code to unlock the Pokémon in their Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game with the new QR Scanner feature.

Disney Springs has stepped up to the plate in hosting new holiday experiences for the 2016 holiday season. One of these new experiences is the Starbright Holidays-An Intel Collaboration Drone Show. This must-see show encourages you to look toward the stars as 300 drones light up the night sky, accompanied by holiday music, to create an incredible new Art form.
The show presents a medley of holiday songs. The opening song is “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” as the drones begin to illuminate the sky. The music then changes to “Oh Christmas Tree” as a Christmas Tree begins to form and swirl. The greens and reds are vibrant and pictures do not do justice to what this actually looks like when you see it in person.
The next musical rendition is “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” as Santa Claus’s voice joins in the song wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. You will then likely recognize the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Carol of the Bells” as the lights from the drones magically dance to the music. This particular segment is very colorful and you are sure to be amazed.
The final segment of Starbright Holidays opens with “Oh Holy Night” and moves into “When You Wish Upon A Star.” As the music plays an Angel forms in the sky. I had goosebumps that had absolutely nothing to do with the cold weather we had that evening! After the Angel has formed, the music medley ends with “Silent Night.”
Who knew that drones would take on a life of their own to create a whole new art form? I am calling this “Drone-Art” as these displays are a bit of magic and creativity, combined with a whole lot of technology, to create a brand new form of Art. When a friend of mine told me early this year that Disney was thinking beyond the traditional for Disney Springs this holiday season, I could never have imagined that I would be seeing drones as the stars of a new experience at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Starbright Holidays is a free show experience that can best be seen along Lake Buena Vista, behind Bongos Restaurant, at Disney Springs. This show will appear at 7:00pm & 8:30pm nightly now through January 8, 2017. Starbright Holidays-An Intel Collaboration Drone Show is a must-see for anyone who has the opportunity to visit Disney Springs this holiday season.
