One of the best parts of summer is having barbecues and cookouts! I always love checking out fun kitchen products with Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel themes, but I’ve never checked out grills before! My jaw dropped when I saw this epic The Star Wars TIE Fighter Gas Grill!

It doesn’t get much cuter than this folks! During a recent trip to Walt Disney World with his family Brent Burns was asked for autographs multiple times by young fans.

Not because he is a NHL star with the San Jose Sharks, but because children actually thought he was a real pirate. Brent explains in the video below.

Celebrate Halloween Disney-Style at Tokyo Disneyland

Beginning in September 2017, Tokyo Disneyland will be celebrating the 20th year of their Disney Halloween event. Both Tokyo parks, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, will be participating in the spooky celebration with many fun experiences for the whole family to enjoy!

If you are lucky enough to partake in the festivities, you wont want to miss “Halloween Pop’n LIVE” in Tokyo Disneyland. This music-themed Halloween parade will feature a special MC to pump up the crowd. Disney friends will join Mickey Mouse in the spectacular parade, dressed in party themed attire.

Over in Tokyo DisneySea, you’ll be able to take part in a “The Villains World,” a musical dance party where Mickey and friends will join guests, dressed in Disney villain-inspired costumes, to celebrate. Party guests beware, as the Disney Villains descend on Mediterranean Harbor to cause some Halloween mischief!

In between all the dancing and fun be sure to soak in the Halloween decor, I love how the parks transform for holidays! Don’t forget to check out the other offerings during the event:

Heads up everyone! A Disney reservation system update is scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, June 22, 2017) impacting both their call center and online bookings.

Disneyland Resort bookings will be unavailable from approximately 6 a.m.-1 p.m. ET.
Walt Disney World Resort and Aulani bookings will be unavailable from approximately 3 a.m.-8 a.m. ET.

Please note that Walt Disney World Resort dining reservations will also be unavailable during this time. The good thing is you will still be able to make theme park ticket and FastPass+ selections during this time.

Dining Reservations Now Available for MNSSHP & MVMCP (but there is a trick to finding them!)

Reservations opened today for dining reservations during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Restaurants accepting reservations during party hours are Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table and The Crystal Palace

But WAIT! There is a trick to finding the open reservation times online. If you are just searching the specific restaurant for a reservation you may very well overlook available times. Open dining reservations are listed not under the specific restaurant but under new pages entitled “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Dining” and “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dining.” The easiest way I found to search online was to just filter my dining search to “Magic Kingdom” and the party dining listing will appear. This method will show all available reservations within the Magic Kingdom on the date and time you are searching.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates:

August 25 and 29
September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29
October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
November 1

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates:

November 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26, 28

Reservations for the frightfully fun HalloWishes Dessert Party and festive Fireworks Holiday Dessert Party are also now available. The cost for either of these dessert parties is $79 plus tax per adults and $47 plus tax per child.

Reservations for either dining or dessert parties can be made by visiting DisneyWorld.com/dining or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. To make dining or dessert party reservations that take place during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you must have a valid event ticket for that night.

Is a New Resort Coming to Walt Disney World?

It is I, Anonymouse, back with some interesting resort gossip coming out of Walt Disney World. Orlando Theme Park News is reporting that a new resort MAY be coming to the Swan and Dolphin area at Walt Disney World.

While the Swan and Dolphin are not Disney-owned properties, they are located in a prime location on Disney World property. Marriott is the owner of both resorts and it appears they will also be the owner of the new rumored resort.

Back in January, height balloons were spotted in the area around the tennis courts of the Swan and Dolphin hotels. This is the rumored location of where this new resort will be built. Due to the size of this area, only a smaller or “boutique” hotel would be built. Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course is right across the street from this location we would expect that minor modifications would have to be made to it.

As always, nothing is official until it is confirmed by Disney. This is certainly one to keep an eye on though.

Parenting Expert Claims to Have Come Up with Concept for “Inside Out” and Sues Disney

Disney will soon be back in court after a parenting expert claims that Walt Disney and Pixar allegedly stole the the concept for “Inside Out” from a project she pitched to the company repeatedly from 2005 – 2009 dubbed “The Moodsters.”

According to an article in Fortune, Denise Daniels who has appeared on many TV shows including Oprah and Today argued that she as an “implied-in-fact” contract with Disney and is seeking payment for box office, DVD, Blue-Ray, iTunes and merchandise revenue from the blockbuster film which has grossed more than $850 million worldwide since its Summer 2015 release.

Disney denies the allegations and in a statement published by Fortune said: “We look forward to vigorously defending against this lawsuit in court,”

The lawsuit is not the first of its kind. in March, Gary Goldman, a Hollywood screenwriter sued Disney for copying ideas from his work that were incorporated in Zootopia.
