Disneyland Adds Super Cute Themed Trash Can Statues

Themed Trash Can Statues Debut at Disneyland

Adorable new trash can statues have arrived in different spots at the Disneyland Resort! We found them in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

All of the signs feature the words “Food Scraps Only” and direct guests to only throw out food scraps in the green food waste trash cans. In Cars Land we found one near Cozy Cone Motel in the shape of an orange traffic cone.

At Flo’s V8 Cafe we found another one! Crafted from stacked, light teal blue car components, this statue playfully evokes the form of a vintage radio.

Perched atop the food waste receptacle at Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland, a charmingly small silver robot has made its appearance. Reminiscent of the BDX droids seen in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, this little automaton is holding a matching silver sign with a playful message: “Food Scraps Only, This bin is for refueling biological organisms!”

These signs are permanently attached to the trash cans so they can’t be removed. Which one is your favorite?

Keystone Clothiers Doorway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Gets New Theming

New Theming for Keystone Clothiers Doorway

A significant change is underway at Keystone Clothiers on Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ bustling Hollywood Boulevard. The doorway, which unfortunately suffered a collapse over two and a half years ago, is now being revitalized with entirely new theming.

The side entrance to Keystone Clothiers now features a striking marble green theming adorning the top of the doorway, offering a noticeable contrast. While this particular entrance remains under refurbishment, the gift shop remains accessible via its other entrances. Additionally, since our last report, the tops of the window frames have been encased in clean white paneling. Interestingly, despite the windows themselves remaining intact, they underwent reconstruction alongside the adjacent doorway.

The newly installed green marble on the doorway bears a resemblance to Keystone Clothiers’ original design. However, it currently lacks the golden embellishments that once adorned it, leaving open the possibility of their future reinstatement. Notably, painter’s tape can be seen delineating the edge between the new marbling and the white columns. Above the doorway, the freshly painted pink concrete, while a clear attempt to match, doesn’t yet perfectly align with the existing pink wall.

As a prominent shop along Hollywood Boulevard, the central “Main Street” of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Keystone Clothiers remains open and accessible to guests. Visitors can currently browse and purchase a diverse selection of “Star Wars” and Marvel merchandise within its walls.

Ice Cold Hydraulics Gets a Fresh Look with New Mural

The cool vibes of Ice Cold Hydraulics in Disney’s Hollywood Studios have been infused with a warm artistic touch. A brand-new mural has emerged on its side this past week, adding a captivating visual element to Grand Avenue.

A burst of retro charm now adorns Ice Cold Hydraulics in the form of a large, eye-catching mural. The artwork showcases a stylized woman joyfully holding a Coca-Cola bottle, exclaiming “enjoy!” in a playful speech bubble. Behind her, a vivid coastal vista unfolds, complete with swaying palm trees, rolling waves, and a cheerful camper van. Anchoring the piece is the iconic Coca-Cola logo, emblazoned across the brick in its signature red script.

Where once there was only brick, now a vibrant mural enlivens the exterior wall of Ice Cold Hydraulics, situated next to the familiar Coca-Cola-themed umbrella tables. This artistic addition enhances the atmosphere of the Coca-Cola-sponsored location, which has been serving guests since 2024.

Don’t Be Late! Cinderella 75th Anniversary Merch Awaits at Hollywood Studios!

OMG, you guys are not going to believe the adorable stuff they have at Hollywood Studios right now for the Cinderella 75th Anniversary! Seriously, my inner princess is screaming!

First off, you have to see this Cinderella Sequined Pullover. It’s this gorgeous light blue, and right on the front, it says “75th” so you know it’s the real deal. But get this – Cinderella and the castle are covered in sequins! And if that wasn’t cute enough, the sleeves have her little bird buddies helping her out.

Flip it around, and you will find more sequins with the Fairy Godmother adding her sparkle to “Once Upon a Time.” It’s seriously the coziest and sparkliest way to show your love for the movie, and it’s $69.99. Totally worth it for all that shimmer!

And can we talk about the Cinderella Ears Headband?! You know those classic Minnie ears? Well, these are all decked out in this beautiful, shimmery fabric, and the bow has this little clock charm on it! How perfect is that? It’s totally “ear”-resistible, get it? You’ll feel like you’re ready for the ball just by putting them on.

Okay, but wait, there’s more for my fellow coffee lovers! They have the Cinderella 75th Anniversary Starbucks Travel Tumbler that is just stunning. It’s this iridescent, silvery blue with all these cool facets on the outside, so it’s super sparkly. And the lid twists on tight, so no spills! Plus, it has a straw with a little “glass slipper” cap! Park Swag Alert! Check Out the New Hollywood Studios Collection!

Alright, Disney fans, get your wallets ready because the new Hollywood Studios Collection has dropped, and it’s looking pretty awesome! If you’re heading to the park soon (or just wanna rep your love from home), you’re gonna want to check this stuff out.

First up, let’s talk threads. They’ve got a cool burgundy youth tee for the kiddos with the classic park logo – can’t go wrong there, right? For us grown-ups, there’s a light blue t-shirt with the red and white logo, and get this, Mickey and Minnie are hanging out in the “o”s of “Hollywood”! How cute is that?

If you’re feeling a bit more trendy, they’ve got a light gray baggy crop top featuring the key art. This artwork is super cool, kinda retro with blue and red Art Deco vibes, and it’s got diamonds showing off Mickey and Minnie (Runaway Railway style!), the Millennium Falcon, Tower of Terror, Maleficent as a dragon, Woody, and Buzz. Plus, it’s got sparkly blue lettering – fancy! “What’s This?” A Brass Ring Win for Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along at Jollywood Nights!

We just can’t believe our eyes—or maybe we can, because Walt Disney World has just sleigh-ed the competition once again! The fan-favorite “What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along” has officially snagged a Brass Ring Award at this year’s IAAPA Honors, and it’s giving us all the festive chills (the good kind!).

Hosted by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), the annual Brass Ring Awards are the gold standard (or should we say brass standard) in recognizing creative excellence across theme parks around the globe. And this year, Disney’s delightfully eerie sing-along took home the coveted honor for “Most Creative Winter Holiday Production.”

Held exclusively during Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the “What’s This?” Sing-Along brings Tim Burton’s beloved The Nightmare Before Christmas to life in a way that’s both merry and macabre. The 20-minute show invites guests to sing along to the iconic soundtrack as larger-than-life characters from the film haunt the stage with holiday cheer.

But here’s the twist: two silent performers—yes, completely wordless!—use only physical comedy and expressive movement to guide the story. Their whimsical (and sometimes spooky) choreography captures the heart and humor of the film, creating a one-of-a-kind holiday experience that’s equal parts Halloween Town and Christmas joy.

Going up against heavy hitters like the Six Flags Holiday Special and Frosty’s Electric Snow Party from Universal Studios Japan, the show still managed to grab that elusive brass ring—a symbol of rare achievement dating all the way back to carousel traditions of the 1800s.

As IAAPA describes, the Brass Ring Awards are all about honoring the best of the best in the global attractions industry. And honestly, it’s no surprise Disney’s holiday-meets-Halloween mashup rose to the top—it was scary good.

So a huge round of applause (and maybe a haunting howl or two) for the team behind “What’s This?” and the entire Disney Jollywood Nights crew. With a win this big, we hope this seasonal standout keeps creeping back into the lineup for years to come.

Will “Thunderbolts” Strike Gold at the Box Office? Marvel’s Antiheroes Are Ready to Rumble

Marvel’s latest gamble is bringing the bad guys to the big screen—and the studio is hoping it’ll bring the big bucks too. This weekend, “Thunderbolts” crashes into theaters with a projected domestic debut between $70 million and $75 million, aiming to reignite some of that good ol’ MCU magic that’s been flickering in recent years.

Featuring a ragtag crew of morally gray misfits—including Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent, and David Harbour’s Red Guardian—Thunderbolts promises a grittier, more grounded take on superhero teamwork. Think Avengers, but if everyone had serious trust issues and maybe a few felonies under their belt.

Thunder Rolls In, But Is It Loud Enough?

While Thunderbolts is expected to dominate the box office this weekend as the only major newcomer, its projected opening is softer than recent Marvel standards. For context:

“Captain America: Brave New World” opened with $88 million domestically
“Deadpool & Wolverine” stormed in with $221 million
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” snagged $118 million
Even the less-loved “Eternals” managed $71 million

With a $180 million production budget and a marketing tab nearing $100 million, Thunderbolts is hoping for long legs—and not just from Yelena’s high kicks. Marvel needs this one to hold steady at the box office longer than Brave New World, which started strong but fell hard, ultimately tapping out at $414 million globally.

Global Outlook: Mission (Somewhat) Possible?

Worldwide, Thunderbolts is forecasted to bring in $160 million to $175 million during its opening weekend. That would put it ahead of The Marvels, but still a step behind Marvel’s top earners. Fortunately, there’s a hook: most of the Thunderbolts cast will return for 2026’s highly anticipated “Avengers: Doomsday”, which could draw more fans in who don’t want to miss the setup.

Facing Off Against “Sinners” (And Vampires)

While Thunderbolts will no doubt top the charts this weekend, it won’t be without competition. “Sinners”, the R-rated vampire thriller from Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan, is still sinking its fangs into audiences, expected to rake in another $35 million in its third weekend—a drop of just 20%. Critics love it (88% on Rotten Tomatoes), and the film has already passed $160 million globally.

So even as Thunderbolts thunders into theaters, it may have to watch its back… especially if “Sinners” keeps up the bite.

What Comes Next?

Marvel is far from done flexing its multiverse muscles this summer. Coming up:

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” drops July 25
DC’s “Superman” lands July 11, bringing its own box office punch

But for now, the question remains: will audiences embrace this darker, edgier side of the MCU, or will Thunderbolts fizzle instead of flash?

Disney Grants Royal Dreams to Nearly 50 Make-A-Wish Kids at Walt Disney World

A little pixie dust—and a whole lot of heart—transformed Walt Disney World into a dream come true this week for nearly 50 Make-A-Wish children and their families during the “Once Upon A Wish Party.” From sparkling gowns to magical meet-and-greets, this storybook-style event made princess dreams a reality for kids battling critical illnesses, bringing hope, healing, and plenty of happy tears along the way.

Over two unforgettable days, the magic-makers at Disney Experiences pulled out all the stops, curating every detail to dazzle. The result? Pure enchantment, tailor-made for the children whose wishes were the heart of the celebration.

Among the stars of the event:

4-year-old Cora from Arizona, who is bravely battling leukemia and had one wish—singing “Let It Go” with Queens Anna and Elsa. Her moment came, snowflakes and all.
6-year-old Bailey from California, also undergoing leukemia treatment, glowed in her dream Rapunzel costume, letting her inner light shine.
7-year-old Debora from Massachusetts, who lives with a respiratory disorder, received a full Disney Princess makeover—glass slippers and all.

The fairytale journey included more than 55 character greetings, customized princess gowns, DIY crown-making, and immersive experiences themed to beloved stories like Frozen and Moana. And just when you thought it couldn’t get more magical, the evening culminated in a Royal Ball where the children were crowned as Disney Royalty.

“This means everything,” said Patrick Tenney, one of the wish kid’s parents. “Make-A-Wish and Disney allow us to just breathe. It’s joy in its purest form.”

Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, summed it up perfectly:
“Disney grants a wish every hour of every day… and this is where optimism and happiness come to life.”

This celebration wasn’t limited to the parks in Florida—it was part of a global Week of Wishes:

✨ Disney Cruise Line welcomed three wish kids aboard the Disney Wish for an unforgettable voyage at sea
✨ Disneyland Resort gave 6-year-old Justice the royal treatment in California, including Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers and a princess breakfast
✨ Shanghai Disney Resort hosted three aspiring bakers for a magical day in the kitchen with Chef Donald Duck before they presented a cake to Cinderella, Ariel, and Rapunzel
✨ Disneyland Paris welcomed 75 families from across Europe during the Disney Music Festival, including performances with UK singer Sam Ryder
✨ Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa will soon host a special wish week in Hawaii from May 4–9, complete with island adventures and a very special meeting with Moana
✨ Tokyo Disney Resort made dreams come true with the first-ever Rapunzel wish at the soon-to-open Fantasy Springs
✨ Hong Kong Disneyland granted five wishes, including a starring role for 7-year-old Yee Sun in Mickey and the Wondrous Book
✨ Disney Consumer Products made magic with a Disney Store shopping spree and princess makeovers for two sisters who are both wish kids

Leslie Motter, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish America, praised the care and creativity poured into the event:

For 45 years, Disney and Make-A-Wish have shared a powerful partnership, granting over 165,000 Disney wishes. Events like this one prove just how powerful those dreams can be—not just for the children, but for every person lucky enough to witness their magic.
