Excitement is building for Universal Fan Fest Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, and now fans have their first official glimpse of Yoshi in his upcoming meet-and-greet appearance.

From April 25th to May 18th, 2025, Universal Studios Hollywood will host Universal Fan Fest Nights, a special ticketed event featuring themed experiences across the park, including dedicated celebrations within Super Nintendo World. For fans of the Mushroom Kingdom, Super Nintendo World will offer a unique focus on Yoshi during these evenings.
Guests with tickets to Fan Fest Nights can participate in an engaging Yoshi egg hunt, savor exclusive Yoshi-themed specialty snacks, and of course, experience the high-octane action of Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge. Furthermore, these special nights will also introduce Yoshi as a brand-new meet-and-greet character within Super Nintendo World. Tickets and add-ons for Universal Fan Fest Nights are currently on sale, with prices ranging from $20 to $373, offering various levels of access to these exclusive experiences.
Fans got their first official look at the upcoming Yoshi meet-and-greet thanks to Universal Studios Hollywood, who shared an image on their official Instagram account. The beloved character is depicted in his classic vibrant green and white hues, complete with his signature orange boots, standing charmingly in front of a castle door.
While this marks Yoshi’s debut as a meet-and-greet character for photos and personal interactions, it’s not his first appearance as a walk-around figure. He previously delighted audiences during the 2023 NO LIMIT! parade at Universal Studios Japan, making the Universal Fan Fest Nights his second-ever worldwide appearance in this form.
