New Charms and a PANDORA Boutique Heading to Disneyland Paris

Fans of PANDORA charms heading to Disneyland Paris are in for a treat as the resort has announced an extended partnership with the jeweler that will see exclusive Disneyland Paris-themed Pandora charms as well as an upcoming boutique perfect for those looking to add to your Disney PANDORA collection.

To celebrate the alliance between PANDORA and Disneyland Paris, two new dangle charms will be on offer. The first features Minnie Mouse in her iconic red polka-dots leaning on the Eiffel Tower. The second charm features an iconic Disney Castle with crystals adorning the turrets! Both of the charms can be added to PANDORA bracelets to create a bespoke Disney look that is truly your own.

In addition to the new Disneyland Paris-themed charms, it was also announced that PANDORA will be the sponsor for the Disney Illuminations nighttime fireworks display with the following poster created to showcase the collaboration.

And finally, PANDORA collections are currently available at five retail locations at Disneyland Paris resort with Walt Disney Studios slated to receive its very own location.

Grand Floridian Resort Celebrates 30th Anniversary With Grand Gala Event

The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Walt Disney World’s flagship resort, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. To mark this historic occasion, Disney will be hosting a “Grand” gala event on June 30, 2018.

The event will begin at 7 pm and lasts until 9:30 pm, but guests can check-in as early as 6:30 pm. Guests attending the Gala will be treated to a five-course meal featuring dishes inspired by the Grand Floridian restaurant’s most popular entrees through the years. The event will also include live entertainment and an open bar with open seating at round tables of ten. Tickets for the evening are $185.00 plus tax per person and reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE or speaking with your Disney Travel Agent.

Pull up a chair, grab a napkin and prepare to feast at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.! With over 13 Marketplaces, everyone will be able to find something to suit their taste buds.

The Marketplaces feature over 30 savory and sweet items and more than 60 beverages including wine, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.

Disney makes an effort to listen to guest feedback by bringing back 20 fan-favorites from years prior, while also continuing to move forward and introducing new and exciting menu items.

Returning this year are favorites such as:

Grilled Beef Tenderloin Slider with pickled onions and chimichurri sauce
Mac and Cheese with roasted garlic and garlic breadcrumbs
Meyer Lemon Macaron with Meyer Lemon buttercream filling with blueberry topping

A new featured item you can find is the Salt and Vinegar Chicken wings with parmesan cheese and parsley.

Earlier this week, The Walt Disney Company shared the news that International Chairman Andy Bird would be leaving the company as part of a restructuring.

Bird (seen second from the right above) joined Disney 14 years ago after spending time at Time Warner and was pivotal in helping Disney expand its reach in Russia, China, and India.

According to a piece in the Hollywood Reporter, in anticipation of the integration of assets from 21st Century Fox, CEO Bob Iger announced a reorganization that will change the conglomerate’s segments as well as the addition of a new segment that includes international and direct-to-consumer which will now be overseen by Kevin Mayer.

The other segments include parks, experiences and consumer products which will broaden the role of Bob Chapek, studio entertainment which will continue to have Alan Horn at the helm and Ben Sherwood and James Piatro will continue to oversee the media networks.

The Walt Disney Company jumped two spots in The 2018 Harris Poll Reputation Quotient (RQ®) to be ranked 5th!

The Harris Poll Reputation Quotient is a leading study that quantifies the reputation ratings for the 100 most visible companies as identified by U.S. consumers. Ranked 7th in 2017, Disney has received high marks from consumers in several categories, including Financial Performance (No. 2) and Vision & Leadership (No. 4).

For the past 19 years, The Harris Poll RQ® has identified the companies that are top-of-mind with the American public and examines how those businesses are perceived in modern culture. The study surveys consumers to rank the 100 most visible companies based on their reputation in six different categories: Emotional Appeal, Products & Services, Social Responsibility, Vision & Leadership, Workplace Environment and Financial Performance. According to The Harris Poll, this year’s rankings show “that consumers value brands that are standing by their values, building deep community relations and fueling momentum in science, health and education.”

Not only did Disney rank fifth in The Harris Poll RQ®, they are also seated fifth in the recently announced 2018 Global RepTrak® 100. Reputation Institute’s annual study—the largest of its kind—measures the reputations of thousands of multinational companies based on a survey of 230,000 individuals in 15 different countries during the first quarter of 2018. The Global RepTrak® 100 includes comparative rankings, demographic trends and unique insights into the dynamics behind reputational impact to determine what drives trust among consumers and leads them to invest in or seek employment from a company, as well as purchase their goods and services.

If you’ve ever paid a visit to the American Adventure at Disney’s World Showcase than you can attest to the fact that the breathtaking “Golden Dreams” anthem is right up with “There’s Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” and “it’s a small world” when it comes to catchiest Disney theme song.

Recently this iconic musical number got a bit of an upgrade and Disney released a video clip highlighting the exciting changes made to this much-loved tune.

Working with the famed pop/rock music producer Harvey Mason Jr., the team has managed to infuse modern “cinematic sensibilities” into the new version of the song. This new arrangement gives is more of a contemporary feel while keeping with the original vision of the piece.

First Look at Marvel Disneyland

Disneyland Paris revealed it’s first look at the new “Marvel: Super Heros United” this week. Disneyland Paris fans will get the first chance to be apart of the Marvel universe and upfront for the action. Walt Disney Studios Paris is the center of this new Disney event taking place in the Studio Theatre.

This high tech stage show will be the first of its kind for Disney, as it will feature drones inside the theater, the largest LED screens in Europe, and a 4300+ square floor stage.

Walt Disney Studios Paris will feature the performance five times a day at Super Heroes United. The Marvel Summer of Super-Heroes runs from June 10th to September 30th.

The gorgeous Disney Easter Egg displays return to select resorts around Walt Disney World starting March 25th! These stunning displays are a beloved tradition, that are truly a treat to see each year. This year you can bring home the magic of these displays, with adorable Personalized Disney Eggs!

If you’re visiting the displays at Beach Club, you’ll find beautifully created Mickey and Minnie Mouse eggs, that you can have personalized for sale. These will come with a golden take home box, for you to keep for yourself, or give to some-bunny special! These are a great little piece of magic to bring home if you’re a fan of the egg-cellent displays from the Disney chefs. You can get one from March 25th until April 1st!

Minnie Van Service To Orlando International Airport Now Available At All Deluxe Resorts

Back in January, we reported that the Minnie Vans would start providing transportation to the Orlando International Airport only from Boardwalk Inn, for club level Guests. Well now, the Minnie Vans have expanded their airport shuttle from all deluxe resorts, no matter what level you will be staying on. The costs still remains at $150 for 6 people and up to 3 car seats.

For those still unfamiliar with the Minnie Vans, they were launched by Disney in 2017 as an alternative to Uber and standard Taxis. They are available for Guests staying at select Disney resorts and remaining within Disney World property during your journey. The vans are booked via Lyft for a one-way fare of $25.

On May 18th, Deadpool, the wisecracking Marvel superhero, will return to the screen in Deadpool 2.

Deadpool 2 will feature Deadpool, played by the returning star Ryan Reynolds, as Deadpool to the role, Ryan Reynolds will play Deadpool as he forms the X-Force to protect a young mutant from Cable, a time-traveling soldier.

The new trailer sets the stage for an action-packed film with a few laughs along the way. Check out the new trailer below.

One of the best parts of visiting Disney, as any fan knows, is the food. And with the delicious character donuts coming to Shanghai Disney, it’s no different.

These new donuts are inspired by our favorite Disney couples: Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck and Daisy Duck.

The Mickey donut is dressed up in traditional Mickey-style with his red shorts and yellow buttons. The Minnie donut rocks the red and white polka dots with the signature flower from Minnie’s original hat. The Donald donut features the traditional blue and red bow tie look, including Donald’s sailor hat. The Daisy donut includes all things pink including Daisy’s big, pink bow.

All of these delicious character donuts will be joining the already existing Minnie White Chocolate Donut and Mickey Cinnamon Donut on Remy’s Patisserie menu at Shanghai Disneyland.
