There is a new Morimoto Asia Chef de Cuisine! Morimoto Asia’s Executive Chef Yuhi Fujinaga has officially named Chef Hung Huynh as the restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine.

Chef Hung may be a familiar name to some of you. He was winner of the third season of Top Chef thanks to his innovative cooking of many cuisines.

Chef Yuhi and Chef Hung have been friends and colleagues for many years, so he was the perfect choice when looking for a new partner in the kitchen. “Chef Hungh Huynh is someone that I’ve had the pleasure of cooking with in the past and when this opportunity presented itself, he was absolutely the person I wanted for this position, as he brings a fresh perspective and culinary approach to what we have been doing here since we opened our doors nearly three years ago,” said Morimoto Asia Orlando Executive Chef, Yuhi Fujinaga.

Second Star Wars Celebration Announced For Disneyland After Dark

After an overwhelming response for the Disneyland After Dark – Star Wars Nite event, a second celebration has been added for May 9th. This after-hours event will allow guests to dress in their favorite Star Wars attire and celebrate everything that is the franchise.

It will include special after-hours access to Disneyland park with Star Wars ticketed guests being allowed early entry at 6:00 pm. The celebration will also have a galactic dance party with character encounters along with Star Wars-themed photo opportunities and out of this world food and beverage options. Guests will receive a commemorative lanyard, special event credentials and all downloads of Disney Photopass photos from the event.

New for this Star Wars celebration will be the opportunity to purchase Solo: A Star Wars Story pins. There will also be additional Star Wars-themed photo options, artist showcase for Acme Archives Limited and a book signing for “It’s Your Universe”.

Tickets will be available starting May 1st and will be limited. They can be purchased at Disneyland.com.

Other Star Wars experiences available at Disneyland beginning May 4th will be “March of First Order” where guests can see First Order stormtroopers march through Tomorrowland, Encounter Rey character experience and the popular Hyperspace Mountain, transformed from Space Mountain.

Woody Has Arrived to Toy Story Land

Toy Story Land is almost ready for its grand opening on June 30th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but it wouldn’t be complete without one of its biggest stars, Woody! Disney Imagineers celebrated one of their biggest milestones for the new land as Woody took his permanent place at the Toy Story Land marquee, which sits just in front of one of the land’s most anticipated attractions, the Slinky Dog Dash coaster. The marquee is made out of blocks and a 4-foot-tall yo-yo!

Woody Has Arrived to Toy Story Land

Woody stands at nearly 20 feet tall. His cowboy hat measures 7’ feet, brim to brim!

Upon entering Toy Story Land, guests will “shrink” down to the size of a toy and join in on the fun Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Andy’s other beloved toys are having in Andy’s backyard. Guests can ride Slinky Dog Dash, take a spin on Alien Swirling Saucers, walk through a new carnival game box to experience Toy Story Mania!, grab a tasty snack at Woody’s Lunchbox – and even meet some of the characters from “Toy Story” films!

The Infinity War story arc in Marvel Comics, was one of my all time favorites, needless to say I can’t wait to see the new Avengers: Infinity War film! In celebration of the new film, Walt Disney World has released a gorgeous new limited edition Infinity War MagicBand!

In addition to the new Avengers band, there is also an adorable Groot band joining the club too!

This sleek black band comes in a specialty box, with foil art, and Thanos’ menacing scowl while wielding the Infinity Gauntlet. The band retails for $32.99.

The band features artwork very reminiscent of the comic style of the 90s, when this story arc was written. One side features the Infinity Gauntlet and the other Thanos sneering.
