Disneyland will celebrate it’s 63rd anniversary tomorrow, July 17th, in style! Guests first ventured onto Main Street U.S.A. back in 1955. To honor this incredible occasion, Disneyland will be presenting 63 characters at the start of each Pixar Play Parade.

Other fun happenings include a “Happiest March on Earth” at Disneyland Park and the Pixar Play Parade will make a few celebration stops along it’s routes.

The Pixar Play Parade happens daily and features everyone’s favorite Pixar characters. Joy, Sadness, Mr. Fredrickson and the Incredibles join Toy Story and Monster’s Inc friends in a colorful, fun filled march through the park. It’s a part of Pixar Fest happening now through September 3rd.

Although you have plenty of time to see the Pixar Play Parade, you only have tomorrow to celebrate with 63 characters. Be sure to head down to Disneyland Park for it’s 63rd anniversary spectacular! It will be a celebration you won’t want to miss!

Baton Rouge Boozy Beignets are the Perfect Snack for Adults at Walt Disney World!

Lots of new exciting food items have been coming out of Walt Disney World recently! In addition to new cupcakes and other sweet treat options, we announced last week that Mickey Beignets were now available at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. Today, I am excited to share that another type of beignets have arrived at French Quarter as well – but these are just for the adults! Introducing Baton Rouge Beignets or “Boozy Beignets!”

As of right now, the Boozy Beignets are only available at Scat Cat’s Club inside Disney’s French Quarter – French Quarter. They are just $8.00 for an order of three and are available with three different liquors – Bailey’s, Rumchatta, and Kahlua. Unfortunately, you can only order one selection of alcohol for each order and not mix and match them.

And, in true Disney fashion, they have thought of everything! To avoid eating a soggy beignet, the alcohol for each beignet comes in a little tube that allows the guest to inject it into their beignet right before eating it. Super cool!

The taste you may ask? Amazing! They are just as good as the regular beignets but with an extra kick!

Dole Whip with Coruba Coconut Rum is $11 plus tax for the 21-and-over crowd. Of course, the non-alcoholic version is still available and can be purchased for $4.49 or a Disney Snack Credit if you are on the Disney Dining Plan.

The Pineapple Lanai offers both Pineapple or Vanilla Dole Whips or you can ask to swirl them together. Pineapple Floats are also on the menu which adds pineapple juice to your Dole Whip.

If you follow food trends, you might have heard of edible cookie dough. Edible cookie dough takes allows you to enjoy in one of the best part of making cookies without the risk of ingesting raw eggs. I am now happy to announce that the latest food trend of edible cookie dough has made it to Walt Disney World!

We found the sweet snack treat at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort’s Food Court.

The edible cookie dough is of the chocolate chip variety and just $3.99 for a generous snack-sized portion. It is also just one snack credit if you have a Disney Dining Plan.

It is unknown if the chocolate chip edible cookie dough will be a permanent feature at the food courts or if it is just a limited release. Fingers crossed it will stay on the menu for some time though!

New Dates For Ferrytale Fireworks Dessert Cruise Are Available For Booking

Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise is a great way to catch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. You can board the ferryboat at the Transportation and Ticket Center and be welcomed with a refreshing beverage. After casting off, you’ll be treated to a fantastic variety of dessert and drink options. While you enjoy those delicious sweet treats, you can watch Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After!

In order to improve guest experiences, Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise will be closed from July to mid-October 2018. New cruise dates are now available to book, beginning October 21. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended. The cost is $99 for adults ages 10 and up, and $69 for kids ages 3 to 9.

Pixar Place Closes at Hollywood Studios

Pixar Place closed

Pixar Place at Hollywood Studios is now walled off and closed to Guests. With the opening of the new Toy Story Land, they were keeping it open to the overflow of Guests and FastPass lines, but since they have more of a control of the crowds, they have now walled it off. Guests can still access the restrooms on the corner of Pixar Place. No word as to what will become of Pixar Place at this time.

Pixar Place Closes at Hollywood Studios

Pixar Place resembled the Emeryville, California campus of Pixar Animation Studios. Its sole attraction was Toy Story Midway Mania!, an interactive 4D attraction inspired by classic carnival midway games, hosted by characters of the Toy Story film series. Pixar Place was also the home of Luxo, Jr., a six-foot-tall audio-animatronics version of Pixar’s desk-lamp mascot.

SeaWorld Admission No Longer Included with Discovery Cove Tickets

According to Orlando Theme Park News, Discovery Cove tickets are no longer included admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica. Originally, Discovery Cove tickets included complimentary admission to both SeaWorld and Aquatica for a total of 14 consecutive days. It does still appear that Guests purchasing tickets from the U.K. still receive free admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica.

As of yesterday, Guests were able to purchase discounted tickets to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, and/or Adventure Island for $20 per person, per day with a minimum of two days and a maximum of three days.

The price does not include parking, taxes, or service fees and all visits must be used within a seven (7) consecutive day window of your day at Discovery Cove.

Admission to Discovery Cove starts at $149.99 and includes access to most areas, plus unlimited food and beverages. The Dolphin Swim, Ray Feeding, or Dive Helmet experiences are an extra charge.

Disneyland Paris Introduces Disney Access One FastPass Option

Disney Access One FastPass Option

Starting July 24 to September 30, Disneyland Paris will be debuting a new paid FastPass option, called Access One. It will work just like a regular FastPass, allowing shorter wait times for their chosen attraction. It will cost €15/ day for 1 access to 1 FP Attraction, or about $17.50 per person. This Access One option will be on sale at the attraction’s closest shop, it also comes with a surprise. Regular Fastpass service remains free. AP Discounts are available on this product as well. Magic Flex and Magic Plus passholders will receive 10% off and Infinity passholders will receive 20% off.
