Experience the Disney Cruise Line Through the Eyes of a Child

Experience the Disney Cruise Line Through the Eyes of a Child

Experience the Disney Cruise Line Through the Eyes of a Child.

If you have children, you already know how magical a vacation is for them.  They have such pure joy and excitement!  As adults we all have our favorite memories from our vacations but imagine what it must feel like for them.  My children can tell me every detail of our magical vacations, even ones that I have long forgotten about because they seemed small to me.  In hindsight, these details were an important part of our vacation to our children.

On the Disney Cruise lines those magical memories can go even further with the plethora of activities geared toward children aboard the four different cruise line options.  Disney has created four different beautiful ships that offer 3- to 11-night cruises to destinations, such as, the Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, and more.  Let’s climb aboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder, or Disney Magic as we take a closer look at the unlimited possibilities available for children, teens, and adults.

Guests can start off with character meets, specific to each ship, which includes classic characters like the fab five to our favorite Marvel Characters or Pixar Pals.  For a night of fun our young guests can take part in the Disney’s Oceaneer Club, located on all four Disney Cruise Lines with the theme of the club varying from each ship.  For ages 3 to 12, young Children can have pure imaginative fun during Character-driven performances, special storytelling sessions, larger-than-life play areas, dress-up opportunities and cool interactive activities!

In addition, guests can enjoy special live shows and entertainments.  Guests can enjoy Broadway inspired performances, such as the new featured performance of Beauty and the Beast aboard the Disney Dream Cruise line.

Of Course, we can’t forget about the amazing pools and water slides aboard select ships.  Guests can relax by the pools, dance during the always amazing pool parties, or take an exhilarating ride down the water slides.

No matter which Disney Cruise Line ship you choose to take part in when know all guests will enjoy every aspect of the Disney Cruise life.  We highly suggest you try to aboard each cruise line since they all offer something different and unique.

Disney is cracking down on personal shoppers

Step Inside World Of Disney Stores Reimagined

Step Inside World Of Disney Stores Reimagined

According to an article on the OC Register Disney is starting to crack down on personal shoppers at the Disneyland Resort by revoking their annual passes.

Many personal shoppers will go to the parks to get new or hot items and sell them in Facebook Groups, Websites and even on Ebay, many times with inflated prices.

While there are many legit sites out there that are just looking to help fans get items they can’t pick up on ShopDisney or in the parks there is also those work the system and infuriate other guests by buying up all the stock of certain items (using their AP Discount too) and I have heard turn around and sell those items to people at the back of the line with a big markup.

Park Rules and Annual Pass Terms and Conditions are in place to help protect the experience for all of our Guests, according to a statement issued by Disney.

No word if this will be rolling out to Walt Disney World…

Let us know what you think in the comment box below what you think about Disney revoking the Annual Passes of these Personal Shoppers.

DrinkWallah Now Has Lower Garden Seating!

Come join us one of our favorite drink spots called DrinkWallah, which now has a lower garden seating area!  Drinkwallah is located in Animal Kingdom just over the bridge into Asia.  Nestled into a little corner right on the river bank is a perfect spot for the now open lower garden seating!

Drinkwallah lower garden seating Drinkwallah lower seating

I was already loving my favorite little watering hole, but now this makes it even more relaxing!  Now you can kick up your feet and watch the water as you enjoy your favorite snacks.  On the menu you can find small snacks, such as, assorted chips, cinnamon-glazed almonds, or cinnamon-glazed pecans!  Then you can wash it down with frozen coca-cola, blue raspberry or minute maid lemonade.  Don’t want a frozen drink?  Drinkwallah also has assorted bottled beverages, Dasani bottled water, or Smartwater.  If you would like an adult only beverage?  You can find Frozen Coca-cola with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum or Coconut-Lychee Lemonde with Parrot Bay Rum, Lychee, and Oddwalla Lemonade.  We even saw a sign there that says they are serving Guava Lemonade!  Have you tried this yet? What do you think?

So kick up your feet, grab your favorite snacks and beverages and enjoy the relaxing view of the river as you listen to the guests buzzing with excitement, the monkey’s playing happily, and maybe if you listen hard enough you can hear the screams of joy from guests riding Expedition Everest in the distance.

Kim Possible

Kim Possible

How many people remember the animated series Kim Possible? Well move over Marvel’s Avengers Kim Possible is here to say the day!

“Kim Possible,” a Disney Channel Original Movie based on the beloved animated series, will premiere FRIDAY, FEB. 15 (8:00–9:32 p.m. EST/PST), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.

In this comedic action-adventure, a live-action transformation of the original series, newcomer Sadie Stanley stars as the iconic teen hero Kim Possible along with Sean Giambrone (ABC’s “The Goldbergs”) as her best friend and sidekick, Ron Stoppable.

See the trailer here!

“Kim Possible” begins as Kim and her best friend and sidekick, Ron Stoppable, start Middleton High School where Kim must navigate an intimidating new social hierarchy. She is ready to tackle the challenge head-on, just as she has with everything else in life, but her confidence is shaken when she faces roadblocks at every turn—getting lost in the confusing hallways, being late to class and facing rejection during soccer tryouts from her frenemy, Bonnie. Kim’s day starts to turn around when she and Ron meet and befriend Athena, a new classmate and Kim Possible superfan who is having an even worse day than Kim. With Kim’s guidance and friendship, Athena transforms into the newest member of Team Possible. Soon, Athena starts to eclipse Kim just as the nefarious Drakken and Shego resurface in Middleton with a master plan to finally stop Kim. Now it’s up to Team Possible—Kim, Ron, tech-genius Wade, new friend Athena and Rufus, a Naked mole-rat that Ron meets along the way—to stop these super villains.

“Kim Possible” also stars Todd Stashwick (“12 Monkeys”) and Taylor Ortega (“Succession”) as fan-favorite evil villain duo Drakken and Shego, respectively; Ciara Wilson (“OMG!”) as new student Athena; Alyson Hannigan (“How I Met Your Mother,” Disney Junior’s “Fancy Nancy”) as Kim’s mom, Dr. Ann Possible; Connie Ray (“The Big C”) as Kim’s grandmother, Nana Possible; Issac Ryan Brown (Disney Channel’s “Raven’s Home”) as tech-genius Wade; and Erika Tham (“Make It Pop”) as Kim’s childhood frenemy, Bonnie Rockwaller.

The live-action comedy-adventure also features cameos by multitalented actress/singer Christy Carlson Romano (Disney Channel’s “Even Stevens”) and Emmy® and GRAMMY® Award-winning actor/comedian Patton Oswalt (“Veep”). Romano voiced the iconic title character in the animated series, for which she was nominated for an Emmy, and Oswalt reprises his role as Professor Dementor.

“Kim Possible” was written by Josh Cagan (“The Duff”) and Bob Schooley & Mark McCorkle (Disney Channel’s “Big Hero 6: The Series,” “The Penguins of Madagascar”). McCorkle, Schooley and Zanne Devine (“I, Tonya,” “Easy A”) serve as executive producers. The movie was co-directed and co-produced by Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky (Disney XD’s “MECH X-4”). The movie is produced by Middleton Productions, a subsidiary of Omnifilm Entertainment, and carries a TV-G parental guideline.

Immediately following “Kim Possible,” Disney Channel will present a first look at the new eight-part miniseries “Fast Layne,” with an episode titled “Mile 1: the Voice in the Shed.” “Fast Layne” will move to its regular timeslot with a second installment, “Mile 2: Paid to Drive,” on SUNDAY, FEB. 17 (8:00–8:30 p.m. EST/PST). Both episodes will be available on DisneyNOW.

“Disney surprises us year after year with their continued commitment to Toys for Tots,” said Sgt. Ash Jacques, military police officer and coordinator of the Central Florida Toys for Tots drive. “With their contributions of thousands and thousands of toys, we’re able to help fulfill our mission of making sure every child in this region has at least one gift with their name on it during the holiday season.”

This year, the Marines registered more than 30,000 children in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties to receive a special gift from the program, an increase from past years. The donated toys will each contribute to the campaign’s efforts to make the holiday season merry and bright for all Central Florida residents, from tots to teens.

“Toys for Tots is dedicated to putting smiles on the faces of thousands of children in our community,” said Rena Langley, senior vice president of public affairs for Walt Disney World Resort. “Making magic for children and families is something our Cast Members do each and every day, and it’s humbling to see them demonstrate that same spirit for magic-making out in the community, especially during the holiday season.

In addition to donating nearly 30,000 toys this year, Disney VoluntEARS also collectively dedicated more than 3,000 hours of their time toward the Toys for Tots cause. These hours were spent cleaning and organizing the warehouse and sorting toys for distribution and will continue to accumulate as Disney VoluntEARs assist with the distribution of gifts to registered families.

Disney has supported Toys for Tots since the program’s founding, when, in 1948, Walt Disney created the original red train logo for the organization that is still used today. For more than 15 years, Walt Disney World Resort has organized an annual toy collection drive for its cast members, donating a total of more than 425,000 toys and gifts to children and families through Toys for Tots.
