The Disney Kate Spade Collection Is Ears Above The Rest

The newest Disney Kate Spade Collection has arrived, and it’s simply marvelous! We’ve been anticipating this gorgeous pink, black, and red Kate Spade assortment since we caught a sneak peek of it back in January. This collection is a Disney Parks exclusive collection and will only be available at the Disney Parks, and online at shopDisney, this collection will not be available at regular Kate Spade stores.

The print featured in this collection is a brilliant blend of classic Kate Spade whimsy, with Disney magic. Styles come in one of two colorways in either pink or black. Both feature Mickey ear hats sprinkled with pink and red polka-dots. There are eight silhouettes available, including a pouch duo set. The satchels and totes even come with a Mickey dangle that has a mirror on the reverse side. This collection’s colors are beautiful and classic together, and will translate from Spring to Summer flawlessly.

TRON Construction Update And Photos

New construction photos for the TRON attraction show that the project is moving right along. While there is still plenty to do to make this ride a reality the first steps are moving forward.

Lots of heavy machinery can be seen on the site. Most notably is the large crane taking center stage. The bulk of the area has been cleared and while a significant amount of dirt still remains, it is clear the area is being prepped for building to come.

The construction area is located in Tomorrowland in the space behind Space Mountain and the Tomorrowland Speedway.

The TRON attraction was announced at D23 in 2017. The attraction is expected to be similar to the TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland. The rollercoaster is a representation of the high tech sci-fi/fantasy movie TRON that first debuted in 1982 then was remade in 2010. The attraction in Shanghai has riders board a 2-wheeled lightcycle train and embark on a fast-paced adventure full of colorful lights and excitement.

The target date for the opening of this highly anticipated attraction is during the 50th-anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World in 2021. Stay tuned for updates as the construction continues and watch the progress as the TRON coaster becomes a reality.

4 New Drinks Available from Newly Opened Serv-Ice Location in Cars Land. Let’s take a look at the newest frozen drink offerings that can be found at Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort.

In our featured image above you can see the Groovy Glacier. Inspired by Fillmore, no doubt, from Cars! This frozen treat has Rainbow Swirl, Mellow Yellow, and Cherry flavors, and Strawberry Popping Pearls to top it all off.

Secondly we have the Dinoco Blue, a frozen drink with Blue Raspberry, Lime, and Mellow Yellow flavors. Topped with yummy dino gummies. Dinoco Blue is named after Dinoco, one of the sponsor companies in the Cars films. They sponsor our favorite trainer-gone-pro-racer, Cruz Ramirez!

Pictured above is the World Grand Freeze, made of Grape, Cherry, Mellow Yellow Frozen Drink and topped with Nerds Candy. The World Grand Freeze got its name from the World Grand Prix from Cars 2.

Finally, we have Red’s 4 Alarm Fire. A mix of Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Lime, Mellow Yellow flavors, with Passion Fruit Popping Pearls on top. I’m sure the famed firefighter of Radiator Springs, Red, would enjoy one of these after a day of hard work.

These are great for a cool treat to beat the heat, not to mention they look positively amazing and delicious! Talk about #SquadGoals.

Before you go racing to get photos of these perfectly instagramable drinks, be sure to know this before you go!

All these drinks can be found in Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure Park at Serv-Ice, now located at Lube-O-Rama, right near the entrance to Radiator Springs Racers. These colorful and wonderful drinks are $5.99 each, and you can add an additional topping to your drink for 50 cents, and it’s worth every penny, especially on a hot day!

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is Open at Disney California Adventure Park!

This is not a drill Chip and Co fans! Disney’s California Adventure Park has the popular 3D attraction, Mickey’s PhilharMagic! We don’t know about y’all, but this is a must-do at Walt Disney World and now guests have the opportunity to visit this attraction in California!

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is debuting during the “Get Your Ears On-A Mickey and Minnie Celebration” at the Disneyland Resort and is a perfect addition to this magical year! If you have never checked out this attraction, we highly suggest you try it at least once.

Guests will enjoy watching Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse and other favorite characters as they come to life as Donald prepares the orchestra for Mickey when he comes across the conductor’s baton and Mickey’s Sorcerer’s hat!

Donald unexpectedly plunges into a high-definition 3D dream world as he is swept into the fantastic world of classic Disney animated musical sequences, such as the famous carpet ride in “Aladdin”. We sure hope this newly updated version will be making its way to the Walt Disney World Resort because it sounds truly magical!

New Photos of the Moat Construction at Walt Disney World

We’ve been keeping tabs on the construction on the moat at Cinderella’s Castle and have some new photos for you!

Walt Disney World is expanding the walkway from Liberty Square and Fantasyland around the castle. The moat has been drained during this project.

While the moat is a drained, it’s a great opportunity to clean the algae and grime that builds up over the months.

The walkway expansion is a necessary project. It can get pretty crowded heading over to Sleepy Hollow for their waffles! This will give guests a bit more elbow room on these typically congested paths.

I can’t wait to see the finished project!

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle Walkthrough in Disneyland Set to Re-Open

After months of rennoventions, the Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough will re-open Tuesday, May 28th! While the site still states “From January 17, 2019 through spring 2019, Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough will be closed for refurbishment. From January 7 through spring, the exterior of Sleeping Beauty Castle will also undergo refurbishment. Please check back for updates.”

However, on Tuesday, May 28th the hours appear on the site for 8:00 am to 11:00 pm with extra magic hours from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.

Earlier we reported that certain areas in and around the castle would close to guests so that work could be done. Castle walls were put up to surround the area where the work is to be completed.

Project Stardust

The refurbishment is part of a larger project in the parks called Project Stardust. This initiative has kicked off a number on magical enhancements in and around the Disneyland Resort property. Main Street USA received brand new curbs to help improve access when guests enter the parks. In Fantasyland, Matterhorn, it’s a small world, and Dumbo the Flying Elephantreceived updates to their queues. In Adventureland, the addition of the Tropical Hideaway near the Tiki Room welcomes guests to an area that was previously not utilized. When everything is complete guests will have a bright and shiny new park experience.

Disney Channel’s Hit Series ‘Andi Mack’ Airs Final Episodes Beginning Friday, June 21

Andi Mack, a series hailed for inspiring social change, returns with its final episodes every Friday beginning JUNE 21 through JULY 26 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT/PDT) on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. Two episodes will be presented on Friday, June 21. Creator and executive producer Terri Minsky said, Andi Mack was a labor of love for a room of impassioned, inventive writers, a talented and dedicated crew, and an extraordinary, miraculous cast who inspired us all. We had the honor of breaking a lot of new ground for Disney Channel. We were its first serialized show, its first series centered around an Asian American family, and its first to feature an LGBTQ character who spoke the words I am gay. But the best part of making Andi Mack was our audience, who let us know we mattered to them. The series finale is for them.

Avengers Endgame Backdrop Now At Disney Springs

Avengers Assemble! For a limited time you can now feel red carpet ready with an Avengers Endgame backdrop located in Disney Springs. This photo-worthy spot is located right next to the AMC Theater at the West Side Disney Springs. Since it’s located out front it’s an easy spot to get to even if you’re not seeing the movie quite yet. (Gasp)

There’s no word how long the backdrop will be at Disney Springs, but since Avengers Endgame just hit the big screen yesterday this weekend may be the best time to go and check it out. With all the hype and excitement surrounding Avengers Endgame this is a fun spot to take pictures before seeing the movie.

We even took some time and had some fun with our Thanos Infinity Gauntlet Sipper located at B. B. Wolf for a limited time. It’s a fun photo op to check out and get hyped up for Avengers Endgame. You can also read our spoiler free review of Endgame here.

U.S. Navy Blue Angels Are Set to Perform a Fly Over EPCOT in Early May. On May 2, 2019 The Blue Angels will be performing 2 fly overs at Epcot, one of the Disney Parks at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.

The 6 pilots are expected to break formation just over Spaceship Earth, which will lead to some amazing and unique photo opportunities! This special event is in celebration of Military Appreciation Month (May) and has not happened at a Disney Park since the Blue Angels fly over Magic Kingdom in 2017.

So who are The Blue Angels? The Blue Angels are a team of 6 expertly trained and uniquely qualified pilots that fly 6 McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornets to perform drastic and extreme stunts to showcase the maneuvering capabilities of these agile aircrafts, as well as perform fly overs at major events, primarily sporting events to help boost a crowds excitement. At one point during their air show the Hornets get within 18″ of each others wingtips while staying in formation.. oh and they do that with 4 aircrafts at once!

Blue Angel Pilots go through lengthy training practices twice a day, six days a week, during a seasonal training course, then they must complete at least 120 training missions to perform the maneuvers safely and correctly. Once they have completed their training they perform in over 60 shows at 30 locations in the United States and in 2 locations in Canada annually.

I have been lucky enough to get to see one of these special aircrafts in person! I was younger back then, but this remains one of the best experience I have ever had!

If you plan on being at Walt Disney World at the beginning of May, be sure to arrive early to Epcot so you get a great spot and see this amazing fly over by The Blue Angels in honor of Military Appreciation Month. What a great and unique experience to behold!
