‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘ Coming Soon to Netflix. “What’s up, danger?” The Oscar Winning film from Marvel and Sony Pictures will be viewable on Netflix starting on June 26, 2019.

According to ComicBook.com, the award winning film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, is expected to receive a sequel, a spinoff female-led featured film, and possibly a television spinoff series to show off even more of the Spider-Verse! On Tuesday, Netflix US took to Twitter to announce the films addition to the popular streaming service.

Come for the awe-inspiring animation style(s), stay for a beautiful story about the importance of family, teamwork, and believing in yourself.

When asked about the film at the beginning of this year, co director Bob Perisichetti said, “We were working so hard, we were very late in delivering the film so we didn’t really have a moment of pause before the reactions started pouring in. So it was kind of shocking to immediately go from the mix stage to a premiere and a release, but the positivity has been so incredible. There’s one really good story that Rodney has, but I’ve got one that I shared with you from a father of a really good friend of my son who saw this movie and sent a really incredible DM to me about how he grew up in Brooklyn, how he was this sort of really nerdy somewhat cool kid who loved Peter Parker and saw this film with his son and was just talking about how if he had this when he was a kid how much this would’ve meant to him. And he was so happy to share it with his son. So for me, it’s those moments that just make you go, ‘Oh, this is wonderful.'”

The Spider-Man centered film stars Shameik Moore (Miles Morales), Jake Johnson (Peter Parker), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy), John Mulaney (Spider-Ham), Nicholas Cage (Spider-Man Noir), Kimiko Glenn (Peni Parker), Bryan Tyree Henry (Jefferson Davis), and Live Schrieber (Kingpin).

First Look At The New Vera Wang Bridal Minnie Ears

Last week Disney announced new limited-release designer Minnie ears to debut each month. Several styles were sneak peeked, including concept art for new Vera Wang Bridal Minnie Ears. The concept art has become a reality, as Vera Wang revealed the first prototype of of these stunning new ears on Instagram!

As you can see the concept art came to life beautifully! The New York Designer said she “Loved trying on the very first prototype for the upcoming, limited release Vera Wang Disney wedding veil Minnie Mouse ear headband” when revealing the first look at the prototype on Instagram. These stunning designer ears sparkle with intricate crystal designs, and a large sheer bow delicately placed in the center.

To finish off the bridal look, the ears have a beautiful chapel length train! With such an elegant look these ears could be worn at the actual ceremony instead of just celebrating at the Disney Parks!

University of Central Florida Added to Disney Aspire Program

Disney just announced today that the University of Central Florida will be included in the Disney Aspire education investment program. This program offers 100% tuition coverage for cast members.

UCF is the most recent school to be added to this program.

George A. Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort and University of Central Florida alumnus says, “Adding UCF to this prestigious network of schools will provide our Cast Members with even more options to create the futures they imagine.”

In the last 10 months, around 34,000 full-time and eligible part-time Disney employees have signed up for Disney Aspire. Over 5,000 students are actively taking classes right now.

The Disney Aspire program also reimburses students for their application fees, books, and other required course materials.

When the UCF fall semester begins, more than 53,000 Florida-based Disney employees will be eligible to receive free tuition. Those who gain admission and meet in-state residency requirements will be able to choose from 34 undergraduate and master’s degree programs. 10 of which are fully online!

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard to reprise their roles in Universal’s Jurassic World Ride

Stars of the JURASSIC WORLD films Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong reprise their roles as Owen Grady, Claire Dearing and Dr. Henry Wu, bringing their characters from the silver screen to Universal Studios Hollywood’s much-anticipated mega-attraction, “Jurassic World—The Ride,” opening this summer.

This marks the first time the cast will appear as their iconic characters outside of the JURASSIC WORLD films for a theme park attraction. As part of original content created exclusively for the new ride, Owen, Claire and Dr. Wu will shed light on their interactions with the dinosaurs along with facts and information about the imposing prehistoric creatures that first roamed the earth more than 65 million years ago.

This spectacular new ride will feature an original storyline that will take guests on a breathtaking excursion through the theme park as depicted in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s film, JURASSIC WORLD. It will soar to new heights with the addition of iconic dinosaurs from the movie, including the colossal Indominus rex and the magnificent aquatic Mosasaurus in her natural habitat.

For the first time, JURASSIC WORLD fans will have the chance to see this impressive creature and become immersed within her massive Aquarium Observatory. Appearing to span over 60 feet in length and tipping the scales at over 30K pounds through stunning state-of-the-art visual effects, the Mosasaurus is a sight to behold as she moves just inches away from guests throughout her glass enclosure filled with the equivalent of 3.5 million gallons of water.

Universal Creative collaborated with Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) to bring the Mosasaurus to life and to capture the realism of her underwater environment using a combination of spectacular visual effects and cutting-edge technologies, including the use of motion parallax, a technique that shifts the guest’s perspective of the Mosasaurus as she moves throughout the tank.

The team also employed a series of lighting enhancements allowing the aquarium to intuitively shift from day to night, as well as visual changes to the environment during inclement weather, thus creating a variety of visual scenarios guests can experience based on when they experience the ride.

“Jurassic World—The Ride” captures the essence of the blockbuster movie and comes to life in collaboration with the award-winning and inspired minds at Universal Creative, the Academy Award^®-winning special-effects visionaries at Industrial Light & Magic, a division of Lucasfilm, Ltd., Universal Pictures and acclaimed filmmakers Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow and Frank Marshall.

When “Jurassic World—The Ride” opens this summer, guests will be welcomed to a dramatically reimagined space reflective of the hit films. A fresh entry statement, stonework landscaping, and a contemporary redesign of the iconic JURASSIC WORLD gates, illuminated with billowing flames, will create the framework for the all new aesthetics.

Once guests pass through the queue, they will board specially designed rafts that will navigate the lush environs of dense vegetation and traverse new areas besieged with towering dinosaurs meandering at just an arm’s length away. Encounters with such docile creatures as the Stegosaurus and Parasaurolophus will quickly turn awry as predatory Velociraptors and Dilophosaurus begin to wreak havoc, turning guests from spectators to prey. New Report Released Naming the Busiest Theme Parks in the World.

Recently a report was released naming the busiest theme parks in the world. According to the report, the reports were “some of the biggest findings from the latest reports of attendance estimates at the U.S.’s biggest theme parks and water parks”. The report also states the attendance at the industry’s major attractions surpassed half a billion visits for the first time in history.

With theme parks fiercely guarding attendance figures, this new report naming the busiest theme parks in the world is a rare insight into the industry for park-goers. Quite a few parks showed an increase in attendance in 2018.

Ranked as the 11^th busiest theme park in the world, Universal Studios in Orlando increased attendance by 5% to 10.7 million. In addition, Universal’s Islands of Adventure’s attendance increased by 2.5% to 9.79 million ranking Islands of Adventure as the 14^th busiest theme park in the world.

SeaWorld’s attendance has risen after years of struggles with a reporting of a 16% jump in 2018 versus 2017. This jump ranked SeaWorld Orlando as the 10^th busiest park in North America with an attendance of 4.59 million in 2018.

Ranked as the 6^th busiest theme parks in the world in 2018 with an estimated 13.75 million visitors is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. The Animal Kingdom Park surpassed both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Lastly, the most popular park in the world is, of course, Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom Park had a 2% attendance jump in 2018 with nearly 20.86 million people attending the park annually.

According to the report, the theme park thrived in 2018. The report suggests that the driving factor to the growth among the North American theme parks were “the new attractions based on popular IP and strong storytelling”. Are you surprised at the reports?

See What’s In Store For The Future Of Marvel Studios After ‘Avengers: Endgame’

See What’s In Store For The Future Of Marvel Studios After ‘Avengers: Endgame’. Marvel Studios Head, Kevin Feige, has stated over and over again, Avengers: Endgame is far from the end of Marvel related films and television. Here are some of the projects that are coming soon, set to begin production in the near future, and are rumored to be on the way to a screen near you.

Spider-Man: Far From Home. The final film of MCU Phase 3, Spider-Man: Far From Home introduces the Marvel films to the “Multiverse”. This is also the first film to take place after the event of Avengers: Endgame.

Untitled “Black Widow” Movie. The untitled Scarlett Johansson led film is set to take place earlier in the MCU Timeline due to the characters departure in Avengers: Endgame. “Black Widow” is rumored to take place between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War according to Scarlett’s co-star, Sebastian Stan (“Bucky” Barnes).

The Eternals. This film could take place at any point in a millennia and is not structured to take place during or anywhere near the timeline of the current MCU giving Marvel some creative freedom in its storytelling. Angelina Jolie has been confirm as Sersei of The Eternals by Marvel Studios.

Shang-Chi. The first Asian Actor led MCU film will lead Marvel into a more diverse future starting in Phase 4. No casting announcements have been made at this time, but should start popping up soon. Destin Daniel Cretton is set to Direct, with a script penned by David Callaham (Wonder Woman 1984).

Untitled “Black Panther 2“. After breaking records at the box office and winning an outstanding number of awards including several Oscars at the Academy Awards, it is only natural for Black Panther to receive a proper sequel. Director Ryan Coogler is returning to direct the new film, and his first follow up sequel.

“When it comes to making a sequel, I’ve never done it before, a sequel to something that I’ve directed myself,” he added. “So I think there’s gonna be a lot of pressure there, but what we’re going to try to do is just focus on the work, like we always do. Really try to go step by step and try to quiet everything else around us, really focus on trying to make something that has some type of meaning.”

We can’t wait to see our favorite Wakandan’s in action again. Wakanda Forever!

Untitled “Doctor Strange 2“. There are nothing but rumors surrounding this highly anticipated sequel, especially after learning more about Doctor Strange’s powers in Avengers: Endgame, but we are excited to see the Sorcerer Supreme get the sequel he deserves. We do know horror based Director, Scott Derrickson, has been signed on to the project and may be working with C. Robert Cargill to pen a script for the film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. It’s no secret Guardian‘s would be getting a 3rd film and it’s been heavily in the spotlight with the firing and rehiring of the trilogy’s director, James Gunn. The film is set to start filming in early 2020 with a release likely for 2021 or 2022.

There are many more Marvel Movies to come, but Marvel plans to continue telling even more stories about some of our favorite supporting characters by giving them their own series on Disney+! See who is moving from the silver screen to the stream.

Untitled “The Winter Soldier and Falcon“. Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson will team up for a series that will be exclusively available on Disney+.

Working Title “WandaVision“. When asked about the new series one of the shows stars, Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) said: “There’s quite a few other comic books that we’re pulling from and it’s gonna be Wanda and the Vision and I think at the Disney+ launch chat, they showed a photo of us in the ’50s, and I think that’s a good teaser,” Olsen shared with Variety about the new series. “It’s gonna be really fun. I’m really excited.”

The rest of the information on the show is being kept very quiet, but filming is set to begin soon with a release scheduled for Disney+ in 2020.

Loki. After Avengers: Endgame we now know how a Loki based show is possible after an unforeseen mishap where Loki gets his hands on one of the Infinity Stones! Read all about this new Disney+ series by CLICKING HERE.

Hawkeye. We previously knew about this new series as well, with Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) passing down the mantle of “Hawkeye” to Kate Bishop, who was the character in the comics, and Young Avengers, to take on the same role as the eagle-eyed marksmen. CLICK HERE to read all about the new series.

Marvel has previously announced some more Marvel Comic based content for Television/Hulu Streaming as well. Here is what we can expect on ABC and Hulu.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7. With the hunt on the way for Agent Fitz and the death (?) of Phil Coulson, the team goes on a serious of misadventures yet again, this time under the direction of Mack, the new S.H.I.E.L.D. Director. Watch the new season on ABC.

Runaways Season 3. The new season started filming last week and will premiere on Hulu, more than likely in early 2020.

“We are so excited to tell more Runaways stories and are so grateful to Marvel, Hulu, our amazing cast and crew and of course our passionate audience,” the two said in a statement. “Season three will be a magical time on Runaways, as we deepen our connection to the Marvel universe. We are honored to continue to play in the sandbox created by Brian K Vaughn and Adrian Alphona.”

Ghost Rider Season 1. Gabriel Luna will return as Robbie Reyes from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with his own spin-off series of Ghost Rider on Hulu. The show is set to premiere in 2020 on Hulu instead of ABC.

“I couldn’t be more excited and honored to be handed the reins to a Marvel character as beloved as GHOST RIDER. This story hits every note for me—my love for grounded yet conflicted characters and my desire to scare the $&!# out of people! It’s important to me to find a take that thrills existing fans as well as wider audiences and I believe we’ve done just that,” Escajeda said.

Helstrom Season 1. The series will follow Daimon and Ana Helstrom in a live-action series on Hulu. Paul Zbyszewski is meant to run this new series as well as being an executive producer on Ghost Rider as well. (Do I smell a crossover in the future?)

“As a lifelong Marvel fan, I feel incredibly fortunate to help bring this darker, thrilling corner of the comic book universe to life, and I’m just grateful to everyone at Marvel Television and Hulu for the opportunity,” Zbyszewski said in a statement. “Marvel’s known for all the heart, humor, and action they put into every series, but this time around we’re adding some scares to that mix. I think we’ve found a compelling way to dissect some of our deepest fears through the experiences of our two lead characters.”

Also announced was a Howard the Duck based cartoon meant for Hulu and a NOVA based film is in talks/early production.

2 of the 3 New Disney Cruise Line Ships Will Be Based Out of Port Canaveral. The new ships are expected to finish construction in 2021 or 2022.

The new deal is a 20-year operating agreement between the Disney Cruise Line and Port Canaveral. “It’s a very big deal,” Port Canaveral Chief Executive Officer John Murray said Monday. “This is great news for the port.”

Disney Cruise Line will also be getting another slot for a ship at the port, meaning the cruise line will have three cruise ship spots at Port Canaveral. Currently the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy call the Florida Port their “home”, but one or both of these ships will find a new home once the currently unnamed cruise ships launch in 2021 and 2022.

Construction has already begun on the next three cruise ships coming to the Disney Cruise line and are expected to be completed in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Disney has not announced where the third ship will be based out of.

This new agreement will replace the current agreement Disney Cruise Line holds with the port, which was set to expire in 2027. It is predicted that with the addition of a third ship, Disney Cruise Line will generate around $6 million in revenue a year for Port Canaveral.

The Canaveral Port Authority Commissioner, Wayne Justice, said the agreement is an “extraordinarily exciting” development for Brevard County and the region, as it brings more tourist dollars to the area.

Justice said the deal shows Disney’s “confidence in the port,” as Carnival Cruise Line also demonstrated with a long-term deal reached with the port last year. “It’s just good news all around,” Justice said.

The Port commissioners are voting today for the contract and the signs point to a great outcome for both Disney Cruise Line and Port Canaveral who have an excellent working relationship with one another.

The new ships are expected to keep similar cruise itineraries to the current itineraries of the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.
