Tiffany & Co. Opens Today On the Disney Dream Cruise Ship

Every woman dreams of getting that little teal box from Tiffany & Co. There is something about the color that means luxury and style. Disney recognized that and has expanded it’s collection of Tiffany & Co’s aboard Disney Cruise Line aboard the Disney Dream, opening today.

The new Tiffany & Co. boutique is located on deck four near the ship’s grand atrium. The Disney Dream offers the same shopping experience as the brand’s store on the Disney Fantasy, including the service and style Tiffany & Co. shoppers are used to.

From collections of jewelry to luxury accessories, including the effortlessly elegant Tiffany T and Tiffany Paper Flowers collections, the renowned Tiffany & Co. diamonds are aplenty in these shipboard stores. Plus, the one-of-a-kind sterling silver necklace developed exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests is only available at Tiffany & Co. aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.

New Shop in Disneyland’s Main Street Cinema

A new shop has popped up on Main Street, USA in Disneyland. The showroom for famous and nostalgic Mickey Mouse cartoons is now showcasing merchandise.

The Main Street Cinema is an opening day attraction that welcomes guest to journey back in the times of the early silver screen. The cinema is home to Walt Disney films such as Steamboat Willie, Plane Crazy, The Moose Hunt, Traffic Troubles, The Dognapper, and Mickey’s Polo Team. The facade of the building is reminiscent of a timeless theater box office. Atop is a marquee advertising the showing of Steamboat Willie, just like you would see in the 1920’s and 30’s.

This week, the historical Disneyland monument was slightly altered to feature more than just short films.

The dimmed lights have been turned up a little brighter in order to view merchandise. Shelving and displays have been placed in the cinema to showcase clothing and other accessories.

At this point in time, it is unsure if this will be a permanent alteration. Also, items in the store seem to be more of a seasonal variety.

One thing we do know for sure is there seems to be no shortage of ears or spirit jerseys. That seems like a very good sign to us!

Pineapple Donut is Back at Disneyland

The pineapple donut is BACK in Disneyland!

This delicious (and totally Instagram worthy) treat is available for $5.99 at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe in Disneyland Park.

The love-child of a pineapple Dole Whip and a fluffy donut consists of a classic glazed donut filled with pineapple jelly. This snack is topped with bright pineapple icing and a toasted marshmallow swirl.

You can also feel the tropical vibes while eating this treat because it’s topped with an adorable umbrella!

The pineapple donut has come and gone a few times so make sure to get it while it’s making a comeback!

The Disney parks are definitely expanding their Dole Whip repertoire with a ton of new flavors, combinations, and desserts. You can try a lemon-lime Dole Whip or a raspberry Dole Whip in Walt Disney World. You can also sip on a Dole Whip cocktail or even a margarita with Dole Whip next time you’re on the east coast!

Today the June Disney Wisdom Collection launched! This month’s enchanting collection stars the charismatic Lumiere from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, with a cameo from his pal Cogsworth. This is the sixth release in an ongoing monthly series of inspirational film quotes with colorful character design.

Disney Wisdom – Your 2019 Collectible Series Has Arrived now at shopDisney!

This month the advice of Lumiere is showcased. The quote ”You don’t have time to be timid, you must be bold. Daring” contrasts in shades of purple upon the bright yellow. Disneyland Paris Run Weekend 2019!

The Disneyland Paris Run Weekend 2019 returns to Disneyland Paris Resort from 19 to 22 September 2019. This year’s running theme is all about adventure! With less than 100 days from the start of the first race, Disneyland Paris announces the sale of the new bibs and reveals the design of the new collector’s medals.

Disneyland Paris Run Weekend 2019 offers an amazing atmosphere, incredible costumes, a chance to meet Disney Characters, whilst racing through both Disneyland Paris parks. This experience is for all ages and all levels of ability! Good news! After a first sale of bibs in April, new ones go on sale on Tuesday 18 June at 4 pm. So, make sure you’re on the starting blocks and ready-on your marks- go for the last bibs available make sure you’re in the running and take home one of the incredible event medals: more information is available on run.disneylandparis.fr. Some runners even set their sights on getting them all.

Races and Their Medals

The Disneyland Paris 5K kicks off the festivities on Friday 20nd September, with runners roaring after Simba from The Lion King! Your favourite Disney animals will also be attending this family-friendly race. The following day, the Disneyland Paris 10K is dedicated to the Disney Princesses and their determination to follow their dreams. Runners will see them along the route and all finishers take home a medal featuring the courageous Rapunzel and her adorable chameleon Pascal. The Neverland-themed runDisney Kids Races at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday are a chance for kids to take home a medal featuring Peter Pan and friends.

Disneyland Paris Run Weekend 2019!

Because love is a big adventure too, the Disneyland Paris – Val d’Europe Half-Marathon (Sunday 22nd September) showcases the beloved Disney film couples. But that’s not all… finishers get to take home a medal featuring the most iconic couple in animation history – Mickey and Minnie Mouse– running through Disneyland Paris.

Last but not least, runners entering the various challenges can make a spectacular addition to their collection with a flying Aladdin on the 31K Challenge medal (10K + Half-Marathon) and the snazzy Genie on the 36K Challenge medal (5K + 10K + Half-Marathon). Obviously, Sleeping Beauty Castle is still the ultimate object of desire for finishers of the Castle to Château Challenge. This medal is only awarded to runners who have completed the Disneyland Paris – Val d’Europe Half-Marathon and a runDisney Marathon or Half- Marathon at Walt Disney World in Florida in the same year.

In order to create magical and exceptional medals, the Disneyland Paris Run Weekend 2019 called on the expertise of the Conception Artistic Design team from the Merchandise department. The original designs are produced behind the scenes at the Disney parks, with close attention to detail for that essential touch of magic. This video gives you an exclusive peek at how this year’s medals were created:

From 18th June, collectors can also purchase replicas of these incredible medals in the form of limited-edition pin badges available for the runners at the runDisney e-shop and for all at the runDisney Expo during the event.

Forky Has Arrived in Toy Story Land!

The opening of Toy Story 4 in theaters is less than a week away and now, Forky has arrived in Toy Story Land!

Forky is Bonnie’s newest toy and he is very special because she made him! However, he doesn’t want to be a toy! He joins the rest of the Toy Story gang this summer in the all-new movie. When he gets lost on a family vacation, Woody and friends come to the rescue in their latest adventure!

Now, guests can stop by and see Forky in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. He can be found near Woody’s Lunchbox.

Stop by and grab a fun selfie with the newest Toy Story friend. It’s sure to make a cute photo!

Don’t forget to grab some of the new Forky merchandise in the pop-up shop and visit some of the other Toy Story characters, including the new meet and greet with Bo Peep!

Celebrate Toy Story 4 at Disney Springs

Want to try it before the “Toy Story Drop!” mobile game before you download to your smart device? Stop by the Toy Story Drop kiosk located between Raglan Road and Paddlefish to play the game at one of the stations. We were invited to a fun ribbon cutting early this week and got to experience history when Big Fish Games got inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records.

This fun app was created by Big Fish Games and is the first completely Toy Story centered app. You can find this fun spot for the next two months and play the game and have some fun photo ops! Not only can you play this fun new Toy Story themed game at Disney Springs but at home too! Toy Story Drop! by Big Fish Games is available in the App Store and Google Play. The app is free and one perk is it can be played without Wi-Fi! It’s perfect for travel and kids will be sure to love it.

Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Live Food Review!

Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix 2 is back at Epcot today and with it this year a whole new line up of treats! We had to test them out for ourselves and give you the review! Check out some of the desserts and food we tried this afternoon.

Today was extra hot so we needed something cool to sip on. The “Spiked Root Beer Float” with Barq’s Root Beer Float, Stoli Vanil Vodka topped with whipped cream and mint leaves. You can find this at the Fife & Drum Tavern for $11.00 including tax! It was smooth, sweet, and had exactly the right amount of vodka to make you feel a little punch.

The new “Mix Tart” was a great accompaniment to go along with the boozy float. It was a strawberry filled shortbread cookie that had the edible imprint of the mixtape on the front. This was a great cookie with lots of flavor in each bite. I almost want to say it was a similar taste to the tarts over in Toy Story Land at Woody’s Lunch Box. The tart was also found at Fife and Drum for $5.00 each.

If you want a little more substance to your meal the “Awesome Mix Plate” is exactly what you need. Head over to the Liberty Inn and get this plate of french fries smothered in bbq pulled pork, mac and cheese, bacon, and lettuce. The bbq pork was delish and the plate itself was ok. I didn’t care for the mac and cheese, but the rest was a good and filling meal. To add a little sweetness we tried the new Cosmic Cake! This was delightful with every chocolatey bite. It’s made of chocolate cake and filled with vanilla buttercream and space themed sprinkles. It is topped with a galaxy painted chocolate on top.

Mickey’s Disco Night Coming To San Diego Comic Con

D23 The Official Disney Fan Club hosted a Mickey Roller Disco Party at Moonlight Rollaway last night to celebrate de 40th anniversary of the iconic vinyl album Mickey Mouse Disco!

There was also a big announcement that this year the 2019 San Diego Comic Con will be hosting Mickey’s Disco Night on Friday, July 19th at House of Blues San Diego so get ready to boogie all night long!

Donald Duck and This Sweet Boy With Down Syndrome Share a Special Moment

Recently Aasher Lilles visited Walt Disney World with his family. Aasher’s favorite character is Donald Duck and he was thrilled to be able to meet his idol!

Aasher has Down syndrome and non-verbal apraxia and went to Disney in his Donald Duck outfit to meet the duck himself. His family got a video of this sweet moment as Donald Duck spun in circles and fell to his knees when he saw the boy! Then they shared a big hug and shook their tail feathers!
