Rotten Tomatoes has a reputation for being brutally honest with their reviews of movies in the past. Sometimes they love Disney/Pixar and other times they get a less than fresh review. However, this time they have found something they really like and have given it a 100% rating and “Certified Fresh” stamp of approval. Toy Story 4 has won them over!
The Critics Consensus was that the film was “Heartwarming, funny, and beautifully animated, Toy Story 4 manages the unlikely feat of extending — and perhaps concluding — a practically perfect animated saga.”
For some this comes as a bit of a shocker considering their score for Disney’s Aladdin reaching only a 54% Fresh rating and Avengers End Game only getting a 94%! What this tells us is that Pixar knows what they are doing. Toy Story 4 is a great film that I cannot wait to see again. and again. and again.
