Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Virtual Queue at Disneyland Resort Beginning June 24th

SWGE

SWGE

Disneyland has been preparing for the official grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on June 24th! As you may know, from May 31st to June 23th guest are required to have a reservation in order to enjoy the unique sounds, smells and tastes of Batuu, but what will happened once the land officially opens? Don’t worry! We will explain everything to you here.

Boarding groups:

Starting June 24th you will no longer need a reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, however in order to help everyone have a great experience, a new system called “virtual queue” will be required as needed.

First thing you need to do is download the Disneyland App before arriving to the park, once you are there you can check the status of the land for that day, you will be able to see open in which case you can go right into the land or access by boarding group only, in this case you will need to join a boarding group, this will save you a virtual spot in line so you can go and enjoy other experiences Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has for you.

Getting your boarding pass is super easy! All you have to do is link the theme park tickets of everyone in your party on the app and request the same boarding group for your entire party. To check what boarding group is being admitted to the land, look on the app or digital signage in the park.

To make it even more easy, you can enable your push notifications on your phone or should i say “Data pad”? so you can be notified when is time to enter the land! You have up to 2 hours to enter the land after your boarding group is called for admission so there is no rush, go enjoy the blue milk!

If you are not using the Disneyland App don’t worry! You can still get a boarding group pass with your theme park ticket at select Disney FASTPASS service locations around the park like the Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain or near the Matterhorn Bobsleds.

Reservations for Savi’s Workshop and Oga’s Cantina:

Even though reservations for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will not be require beginning June 24th, you will still need reservations for Savi’s Workshop and Oga’s Cantina, which have very limited capacities.

If you wish to make a reservation you may do so on the same day of your visit starting at 7am, with a valid credit card. Reservations for both experiences will give you access to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the time of reservation so a boarding group pass will not be required. Please visit Disneyland.com/Savisworkshop and Disneyland.com/Cantina for more important details.

Make the most of your visit by planning ahead with these new innovative planning tools and have a great time at Batuu.

Brie Larson Invited Her Stunt Doubles From Captain Marvel To Accept Award

Brie Larson Invited Her Stunt Doubles From Captain Marvel To Accept Award. Larson was nominated and won the award for “Best Fight” at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Though Brie could have easily accepted the award alone, she invited her stunt doubles from Captain Marvel, Joanna Bennett and Renae Moneymaker, to accept the award for “Best Fight” with her on stage.

Brie had Joanna and Renae join her on stage and proclaimed, “I could not have made this film without them. They are really the baseline of who she is. They are the living embodiment of Captain Marvel.”

Joanna started their acceptance speech by saying, “It was just so exciting to be a part of bringing such a strong female character to life and to be able to do it together.”

You can watch their collective acceptance speech via MTV’s Twitter Account, @MTV.

During the speech Renae talks about how her and Joanna grew up together and both dreamed of being just like Lara Croft and G.I. Jane.

Renae also said, “It’s a real honor to be a part of this character and hopefully pass along some of that inspiration and strength that those iconic women brought to us.”

This was an incredibly thoughtful gesture by Brie towards Joanna and Renae, who helped to bring the most intense moments of Captain Marvel to life. I’m sure she would agree that in the future there will hopefully be more acknowledgment for those who put their life and limbs at risk for some of the most cinematic moments on the screen. Regardless, it is great to see an act of selflessness and kindness from one of the most Marvelous heroes we know.

Congratulations to Brie Larson, Joanna Bennett, Renae Moneymaker, and the team behind these intense, cinematic moments for the win of “Best Fight” at the MTV Movies & TV Awards!

Increased Prices of WDW Reusable Totes

Increased Prices of WDW Reusable Totes

Increased Prices of WDW Reusable Totes

In the midst of a decent amount of pricing increases for the Walt Disney World Resort, there is one more guests can add to the list.

Price changes have hit the Walt Disney World Resort this week. We reported back in May of overnight parking increase. Now, the Walt Disney World annual passes have gone up in price effective immediately. In 2020, pricing of the Disney Dining Plan will be raised. As of now, the cost of the resort wide reusable tote bags used to haul all of your merchandise have increased as well.

The unique, park-themed totes come in three different sizes. Each of them ranging from three different prices according to size. Originally, the small tote retailed for $1.00, the medium for $1.50, and the large for $2.00. Now, all prices of the bags have been raised by one dollar. Guests can now purchase their reusable totes for $2.00, $2.50, and $3.00.

These price changes are occurring just over a couple months ahead of the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios park. Similar increases happened before the opening of the same land at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Months before the land of Batuu opened at Disneyland, prices of annual passes and parking surged as well.

What do you think of all the new pricing? Let us know in the comments below!

Avengers: Endgame Set to Re-Release in Theaters with Never Before Seen Footage

Avengers

Avengers

Avengers: Endgame Set to Re-Release in Theaters with Never Before Seen Footage. According to ComicBook.com, Kevin Feige himself confirmed that Avengers: Endgame is going to be re-released in theaters, but this time with the footage of the film that did not make the final cut!

During a press junket in London for Spider-Man: Far From Home (Set to release July 2, 2019), Feige stated, “We are doing that. I don’t know if it’s been announced. And I don’t know how much… Yeah, we’re doing it next weekend.”

End Game

Avengers: Endgame released with a booming opening weekend, smashing the previous record for highest grossing global box office opening weekend of all time, and is extremely close to surpassing James Cameron’s Avatar as the highest grossing film of all time. Avatar has grossed $2..788 Billion over the last decade and Avengers: Endgame is right on its tail grossing with $2.743 Billion in less than 2 months!

With a theatrical re-release the film could easily surpass Avatar as the highest grossing film of all time, needing only $45 million to topple the record that has stood for a decade.

Avengers: Endgame Set to Re-Release in Theaters with Never Before Seen Footage

Will you be seeing Avengers: Endgame in theaters again to help it #BeatAvatar? What pieces of footage do you hope to see in the re-release? We can not WAIT to see what Marvel Studios has planned for the re-release! At least this time it’s safer to take a bathroom break.

Summer Beverages and Desserts with a Latin Twist at Walt Disney World

Summer Beverages and Desserts with a Latin Twist at Walt Disney World

The summer solstice is approaching in just a few days! Disney World has a wonderful variety of refreshing menu items to help you cool off in the hot Florida sun. Each of these beverages and desserts has a Latin twist! Vamanos!

Head over to La Cantina San Angel in Walt Disney World’s Epcot to try a portable fruit popsicle. You can enjoy flavors like lemon or mango with chili and coconut.

Stop by the Maya Grill in Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for a variety of fun postres. The lemon sorbet is made from freshly squeezed lemons and offers a crisp and bright flavor. On the other hand, the mango sorbet is naturally dairy and fat-free with a creamy and rich taste. You can also go for a sampling of dessert shots! Try key lime, cappuccino, dulce de leche, chocolate mud pie, peanut butter parfait, or Gran Marnier berries n’ cream.

Try the Hibiscus Henna at Tiffin’s Restaurant in the Animal Kingdom. This non-alcoholic beverage is a mix of watermelon, hibiscus, soda water, and lime juice. While you’re sipping, order the Passion Fruit Tapioca Creme, the Guava Mousse, or the Halo-Halo.

We cannot forget the tropical flavors that scream vacation! Sebastian’s Bistro in Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is serving tropical sorbets in flavors like mango-lime, guava, and guanábana.

Sebastian’s Bistro also serves a variety of non-alcoholic specialty drinks. The Peachcomber is a fruity mix of orange, lemon, and peach topped with soda water. The Landlubber Lemonade is a concoction made of Odwalla Lemonade, citrus, and grenadine. Lastly, the Mutiny Punch combines raspberry, pineapple, and lime, topped with Fever Tree Ginger Beer.

Finally, take a break from shopping in Disney Springs at Frontera Cocina for a Fiesta Mexicana Iced Tea or Agua de Jamaica. You can also enjoy the Coconut-Lime Cuatro Leches which is a sponge cake soaked in four milks, topped with whipped cream, toasted coconut, blackberries, and lime zest.

Which one of these beverages or desserts with a Latin twist will you be setting your sights on?

Mom buys Disney Version of Cards against Humanity and is not what she expected

Mom buys Disney Version of Cards against Humanity and is not what she expected

One Disney loving mom buys the Disney Version of Cards against Humanity and it is not quite what she expected…

Amy Fanning’s mom recently bought her daughter what she thought was a perfect Disney Game “Cards Against Disney.” Her hope was she would play the game with her daughter and reminisce on her daughter’s childhood, yet she was in for a big surprise when she saw some of the phrases in the card game.

If you have never played the Disney Version of this Adult Game you try to come up with some funny and interesting phrases using some of our favorite Disney Characters. Ok, I won’t lie, some are downright disgusting, but that is the point of the game…

She shared how the game wasn’t quite what she expected on Twitter:

The box clearly states for 17+ and according to LadBible the copy was not officially released by the company, the mom bought it from an ad she saw on Facebook.

According to the game designers “Cards Against Disney is a party game for horrible people. Unlike most of the party games you’ve played before, Cards Against Disney is as despicable and awkward as you and your friends!

After the initial shock, the family has played it a few times and is a family favorite, after they have a few drinks of course.

Have you played this game? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.

You can pick up a copy of the game here or here.
