This fourth option will be called the Disney Dining Plus Plan and will add some flexibility to your dining plans.

Let’s take a look at the current plans available:

Quick-Service Dining Plan:

Disney Jungle Cruise Adventure Game Sailing In This Summer

Jungle Cruise Adventure Game

Jungle Cruise Adventure Game

Get ready to go on an adventure, with the punniest cruise on the water! A new Jungle Cruise Adventure Game is sailing in soon in celebration of the new movie. This game comes from the creators of Villainous, which we continue to fall in love with expansion after expansion.

Jungle Cruise Adventure Game

While the ride is in celebration of the new film, it still has a lot of classic elements inspired by the ride. This is also a tabletop strategy game with cards, and tokens, similar to Villainous. The game has a very secret treasure map look to it with the artwork too!

Disney Jungle Cruise Adventure Game Sailing In This Summer

My personally favorite detail, are the little Jungle Cruise boat tokens! They come in green, red, blue, and yellow. They also look just like the boats from the iconic attraction we know and love so much. As you can tell by the amount of tokens, this game is suited for 2-4 players.

Disney Jungle Cruise Adventure Game Sailing In This Summer

The new Jungle Cruise Adventure Game debuts in June 2020, ahead of the July 24th premiere of the new film. The game will also retail for $29.99.

Portillo’s Food Truck Is Coming To Orlando

Portillo’s

Portillo’s

Update: 2/26/20 2:00pm

Portillo’s will no longer be visiting Icon Park this week. The brand’s Beef Bus will be making stops throughout downtown Orlando on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, 29. Stops will be announced on Instagram and Twitter.

Look out, Orlando! Portillo’s is hitting the road with their Beef Bus food truck. They’ll be in Orlando for a limited-time, so don’t miss your chance to try their delicious menu items!

For those new to the Portillo’s brand, they’re a Chicago-style fast casual restaurant with over 60 locations. They’re sending the Beef Bus to Orlando’s Icon Park, which is found on International Drive. Hungry visitors can find the Beef Bus there from February 27 – March 1, and from March 5 – 9.

Since it’s a food truck, they carry a limited menu compared to their restaurants. The Beef Bus is selling Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, crispy French fries, and soft drinks. Their beef and hot dogs are incredible. Try visiting the Beef Bus and you’ll see why Portillo’s has so many fans!

You can follow the journey of Portillo’s Beef Bus on Instagram and Twitter.

There’s more good news for foodies in Orlando. Portillo’s will soon open its first central Florida location in Lake Buena Vista. The new location is expected to open late 2020. This Portillo’s location will include features such as an outdoor patio, indoor restaurant, draft beer, and a double drive-thru. From its Italian beef sandwiches to its decadent chocolate cake, Portillo’s offers a variety of tasty Chicago food. This new location will be phenomenal once it opens!

Georgia Runner Inspired by Young Son’s Medical Situation During Disney Princess Half Marathon Win Sunday

Georgia Runner Inspired by Young Son’s Medical Situation During Disney Princess Half Marathon Win Sunday

As she raced through the Disney Princess Half Marathon on Sunday, Kelly Wehman wasn’t thinking about the unseasonably cool Florida temperatures nor the nagging cough she had developed. The only thing on her mind was the courageous medical battle of her young son Andrew, which was the only motivation she needed to propel herself past a crowded field to reach the finish line in first place.

Wehman of Ringgold, GA, won with a time of 1:24:26, finishing ahead of Kellie Nickerson of Albuquerque, NM (1:24:46) and Saeger Fischer of Portsmouth, NH (1:25:38). After crossing the finish line amid confetti and cheers from several Disney characters, Wehman, 33, gave all the credit to her 6-year-old son’s journey through Down syndrome and cancer.

“He’s my hero,’’ she said. “That’s what I think about when I’m running. That’s what pushes me.’’

There was plenty of inspiration throughout the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, which included a 5K on Friday, a 10K on Saturday and several Kids races before Sunday’s 13.1-mile half marathon that took runners through the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Among the 21,000-plus runners in the half marathon was Marko Cheseto of Orlando, who was the fourth overall runner to cross the finish line despite losing both of his legs to frostbite a few years ago.

And during Friday’s 5K, Hannah Herman warmed everyone’s heart after she completed the 3.1-mile race despite a club foot that doctors feared would prevent her from ever walking. The lovable 10-year-old ran the race hand-in-hand with the mother who adopted her from Kazakhstan where she had been left at a hospital as a newborn.

2020 Epcot Flower And Garden- Topiaries Have Begun To Arrive

2020 Epcot Flower And Garden- Topiaries Have Begun To Arrive

The 2020 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is quickly approaching! As we walked around Epcot for the last weekend of the Festival of The Arts, we noticed some of the topiaries have been put into place. Come with us as we show you where to find some of the topiaries before the official festival start date. Once again, Epcot Flower and Garden officially starts March 04, 2020, in which all of the topiaries and displays will be out and about.

Starting in World Showcase closer to the Mexico side, in Norway we found not one but two topiaries have made their appearance. The ever-popular Anna and Elsa have returned and look as good as they always have. A little further down there is also a troll topiary. Both are in perfect positions for a great photo opp.

Reaching China we found the next work of greenery. Here you will find three pandas that appear to be having the time of their life. They are eating, playing, and relaxing which all sounds fabulous to us!

2020 Epcot Flower And Garden- Topiaries Have Begun To Arrive

Once you pass China there are really no displays up until you reach the UK. Once there, you’ll be able to currently find three topiaries.

2020 Epcot Flower And Garden- Topiaries Have Begun To Arrive2020 Epcot Flower And Garden- Topiaries Have Begun To Arrive

Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tinkerbell all make their appearance here. Peter Pan and Captain Hook are pretty easy to spot as they are on the main pathway in the pavilion. To find Tinkerbell, you’ll need to head further into the pavilion closer to where the stage is set up.

2020 Epcot Flower And Garden- Topiaries Have Begun To Arrive2020 Epcot Flower And Garden- Topiaries Have Begun To Arrive

Rounding out the topiaries of the UK are some of the favorites from the Hundred Acre Woods! Pooh, Rabbit, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore are all in front of the shops in the UK. All together they make up one larger display. A small pathway is the only thing separating these characters.

As we started to leave the World Showcase we noticed the colorful flowers under the monorail have also been planted!

The Force Is Strong With The Droid Depot Kitchen Collection

Droid Depot Kitchen Collection

Droid Depot Kitchen Collection

Who wouldn’t want their own personal kitchen Droid? Well that might be available in a galaxy far, far away, but at least we can outfit our home with the new Droid Depot Kitchen Collection! This assortment of kitchen accessories is inspired by the Droid Depot of Galaxy’s Edge.

Droid Depot Kitchen Collection

You can keep things tidy with the R2-D2 apron! It has circuit designs, and bronze trim.

There are some adorable serving trays too! I love that they have unique shapes, with circuit patterns as well. The Droid Depot logo showcases on the white and bronze, while a blue R2-D2 is featured on the other.

There are also two different mug choices. One is a figural mug, while the other is your traditional design. The figural mug looks like two droid heads stacked on top of each other, so cool!

The Force Is Strong With The Droid Depot Kitchen Collection

My favorite piece in the collection is a BB-8 trivet! This has a gorgeous bronze color, and the same stunning circuit board features.

The Force Is Strong With The Droid Depot Kitchen Collection

Another fun piece is the Droid leg spoon rest! It looks like a Droid part, but works as a place to rest your spoon, to keep your counters clean.

You can find the Droid Depot Kitchen Collection now at Hollywood Studios!

Thank you to Susan for these gorgeous pictures!

Estefan Kitchen is Heating Things Up at Sunset Walk Orlando

“Everybody gather ’round now,” and head on over to Estefan Kitchen. If you are looking for a new dining experience or nighttime entertainment, the new Estefan Kitchen in Sunset Walk over at Margaritaville Orlando is heating things up. “Get on your feet” and join the congo line! This place is hopping with entertainment and excitement. They have nightly acts that perform. Dancers take the stage throughout the night delighting guests with sultry Latin dance moves. They get the crowd going and joining in a congo line! That is fun for all.  There was also a three-piece band that was playing top chart hits with a little bit of that Latin flair. DJs are spinning tracks some nights. It is a lively spot, sure to spice up the night. “The rhythm is going to get you!”

Drinks now are something special at Estefan Kitchen. The Mojito, the oldest cocktail is well respected here and it shows. They even have their own Signature Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines pair well with many of the dishes on the menu here. The Estefan’s put a lot of thought, time and meaning behind this entire restaurant, and that comes through. From the personalized Emblem to every detail on the menu and ambiance of the place. The lighting and greenery are spectacular.  There are touches of Gloria and her familia shining through.

When you come to dine here do not, I repeat do not skip the appetizers. Hands down my favorite bite of food I ate the entire night was the Burrata. It was light and fresh and the combination of the sweet and saltiness was perfection. The combination of the mozzarella and tomatoes with the guava pesto and sweet plantain was not something I would think would work, but let me tell you it did. It surprised me and in a delightful way. The Ceviche and Lechon Flatbread were also both delicious.

Also worth noting were the vegan dumplings. They were a combination of sweet plantains, roasted vegetables, and mushrooms with an Asian flair flavor component. Gloria and Emilio’s daughter is a vegan and it was important for them to have many vegan and vegetarian offerings.  The dumplings are full of flavor and having tried them and a few of the vegan offerings, you are missing out on nothing. They are delectable. I love as well how the menu designates what is vegan, vegetarian, as well as gluten-free. There is no guesswork.

Can we talk about the Seafood Paella for a moment? Yum! It was a show stopper. The rice was moist and flavorful and the seafood was fresh. All of the meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Every bite was even better than the last. I couldn’t stop eating the roasted vegetables and the game-changer was the cauliflower rice. It was so good and lower in carbs; keto-friendly! Top that with some of the flavorful black beans. I want this every time I go back now. The food here is outstanding. Everything was cooked out of a labor of love and craft. The Chef Christine was an artist and passionate about every dish, just as Gloria and Emilio are. Some of these recipes are even their own family treasured recipes. This is fine dining at its best!

Dessert was a fun experience, not that I had any room left! But I made room for these beautiful creations. This first one brought me back to my childhood having Latin roots myself. They had a shaved ice creation that had pound cake and fresh fruit on it and an espresso flavor sweet condensed milk that you pour over it! Seriously, this was so good. I even used some of the condensed milk to sweeten up my coffee.  Flan and a tres leche cake were also on the menu and were absolutely scrumptious. You couldn’t go wrong with any of these options.
