A colorful new dress has twirled into the Disney Dress Shop! The bold new Play In The Parks Disney Dress has a retro style and fun miniature park icons also dance along with the stripes.
This dress is a sunrise of colorful stripes! Stripes of coral, buttercup, sage, and also deep-sea blue lay in a diagonal pattern on a retro silhouette! A zippered front with a vintage collar and cap sleeves finish off this look for a very 50’s vibe. The icons are a lot of fun! The park landmarks, characters, and attractions are tiny, but also a lot of fun to explore.
The back has teal embroidery with a classic Walt Disney World block logo, that also says Plan In The Park underneath. It almost reminds me of a Spirit Jersey on the back too!
For the finishing touch, the coral banded dress is also cinched off with a deep-sea blue belt! The belt is also accented with a yellow buckle and grommets to match the colors in the dress.
As we’re all excited by Disneyland Resort’s announcement regarding the opening of Avengers Campus on June 4, 2021 at Disney’s California Adventure, construction continues to bring even more Super Heroes to Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris with the upcoming Avengers Campus.
In celebration of the 29th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, Ambassador Giona got a chance to catch up with Vice President of Shows, David Duffy. Check out the video below to learn more about David’s career journey and the exciting new developments underway for the highly-anticipated reopening of Disneyland Paris.
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will be reopening at the end of the month. Before the parks reopen, Disney will be launching a new website for guests with vacation packages that include hotel reservations and theme park tickets. The website will allow guests to print tickets, gift cards, and transportation vouchers at their convenience.
Guests will be provided a secure link via email or on their Disney account prior to their hotel arrival. Disney will no longer be manually packaging and delivering entitlements like park tickets to guests’ hotels in advance of arrival.
Guests with travel packages for April 29, 2021 and later will begin receiving communication regarding these changes five days prior to their hotel arrival. This new distribution process will be included in booking online at Disneyland.com and via phone.
Universal & Brightline are at an impasse after the latest round of meetings on April 8, 2021. The standoff comes down to money, as is always the case. At stake are the numerous visitors expected to ride the Brightline train with only 2 stops locally. Disney Springs area, which is scheduled to be built in a future expansion, and the main stop at the Orlando International Airport.
Brightline’s position is “We have explained the ramifications of that in terms of cost [and they are] understanding of that,” said Michael Cegelis, executive vice president of rail infrastructure for Brightline, at the presentation. “There’s a recognition of that. The quantum of it is still being reconciled. We did have a reconciliation meeting yesterday, a lot got accomplished. We owe Universal Studios and their consultant some additional cost information, so we are providing it or may have provided it already.” No other information was forthcoming.
Universal’s response was more direct, “We have talked with Brightline and do not feel they have done the due diligence required for a project of this magnitude,” Universal spokesman Tom Schroder told Orlando Business Journal. “At the moment, there is significant disagreement about what is right for our community — with us and many others believing the International Drive corridor needs to be part of the plan.”
Let’s try and break this down into real-world talk. Universal wants a stop on I-Drive. Especially since the newest theme park Universal Epic is being built right off that road, and they want people. Also, many of the business owners along the I-Drive corridor want a stop. In a previous quote to Orlando Business Journal “With millions of visitors to the I-Drive corridor, over 75,000 employees and over 20,000 residents with over $2 billion of future projects planned to date, a mass transit from [the Orlando airport] to I-Drive is imperative to best service our community and continue the economic growth of our entire region,” Maria Triscari, president and CEO of the International Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce.
People = money. Simple as that. No word on if Universal & Brightline can come to terms on a financial deal for the I-Drive stop.
Disney has not made any statements regarding these talks. They are the 500lb gorilla in the room. They wanted a stop, they got a stop. Now can Universal and I-Drive Owners convince Brightline it is in their best interest to make another stop in the area?

‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘ Star Thinks the World is “One Thousand Percent” Ready for a Black Captain America. Marvel Fans are loving the latest live-action series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+, and as the first season is coming to a close fans are wondering, will Sam Wilson accept the role of Captain America?
During an interview with IGN Brazil, actress Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) shares her thoughts on the series, and if the world is ready for a never before seen Captain America in the MCU.
Emily VanCamp shared with IGN Brazil, “I can’t divulge anything, but do I think the world is ready for a Black Captain America? A thousand percent, I’m ready for that, but in terms of where we head within Falcon and Winter Soldier, I am not at liberty to discuss anything [laughs]. But I will say that the overall theme and arc of this show is a really beautiful, powerful message, and one that I’m excited for people to continue to watch. And I think they’re already kind of seeing that on multiple levels with each character, so I think that Marvel’s done a great job with this show, definitely, in terms of tackling very important themes and also from individual perspectives of each character.”
Series star, Anthony Mackie got real with MTV Asia during an interview for the new show, and shared why he believes Sam has struggled with accepting the shield from Steve Rogers. Mackie explained, “Well, because the shield belongs to Steve, and you know, Sam got into this because of his relationship with Steve. Sam wasn’t waiting in the wings, hoping and waiting to become Captain America. The whole goal and idea was to save the world with Steve. So if he’s Cap, that means Steve is no longer with him,” Mackie elaborated. “So, it takes the fun out of it. You know, the idea of being a superhero and being Captain America as a Black man, representing a symbol that for 500 years, has literally enslaved, downtrodden, and persecuted you people is a harsh reality to try and come to grips with.”
The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland was closed for updates and refurbishment before the parks closed due to the pandemic. Now, the attraction is ready to welcome guests back when Disneyland opens later this month. Take a look at the updates the mansion has received.
Outside, freshly landscaped details now adorn the site for dearly departed pets, representing their stories from beyond the grave.
Inside, a keen eye will notice a few dastardly design embellishments along the portrait hallway, including the return of an old, perhaps familiar face. One of the Mansion’s original portraits known as “April to December” once again graces the hallway. As you step closer to your doom buggy, you’ll see the lovely young woman aging before your eyes!
Take a look at some of the highlights of the happy haunt’s handiwork:
999 ghosts are ready and waiting to welcome guests back to Disneyland and the Haunted Mansion. A valid admission ticket along with a park reservation is required for guests to enter the parks. Reservations are open now for guests who already have tickets. New ticket purchases open on April 15. Keep in mind the Disneyland Resort theme parks will only be open to California residents.

Though there are reportedly several hours worth of unused audio recordings from Robin’s recording sessions, ABC’s Good Morning America featured some “never-before-seen” outtakes to celebrate the release of Aladdin on Blu-ray DVD back in 2015. Disneyland Paris is turning 29! Let’s celebrate it with a delicious Disneyland Paris Castle Cake!
Disneyland Paris opened in 1992 and was known as Euro Disney, since then, the parks has been bringing magic to life in the heart of Europe. So in honor of this big celebration, why not bake something inspired by the main icon of the park, Sleeping Beauty Castle.
In my opinion, Disneyland Paris has the most beautiful castle of all the Disney Parks, when you get into the park, the castle makes you feel like you are stepping into a fairytale book, it’s amazing! So let’s bring that piece of magic home by baking this cake following this easy recipe:
DISNEYLAND PARIS CASTLE CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
2 pieces of shorbread dough
200g (1 cup) of mascarpone
25g of icing sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
200g (1 cup) of whole liquid cream
Raspberries
Blueberries
Macarons
Other decorations like mini marshmallows, meringues, sugar beads and edible flowers
Unroll the two shortbread doughs, using the castle template (find it here) cut two castle shapes with a knife then put them in the oven for 20 minutes.
For the ganache:
In a bowl, combine the mascarpone, icing sugar and vanilla extract. Set aside.
In another bowl, whip the whole liquid cream using an electric mixer until it looks like whipped cream.
Gently add the whipped cream into the mascarpone, sugar and vanilla extract mixture, then place it in a piping bag.
To assemble:
Grab your castle shorbread and cover it with the ganache starting by the outside towards the center.
Arrange some fruit on top.
Carefully, place the second castle shortbread on top without pressing too hard.
Cover it with ganache, then place fruit, macaroons, and other decorations.
Keep the cake in the fridge until you are ready to eat.
You can follow the recipe by watching this video from Disneyland Paris:
