New signage is appearing in front of Disney World Attraction Haunted Mansion this morning. It appears Disney may have heard some people saying that they did not get their ride photos, and instead got some other families’ photos. Now it looks like a QR code on the new signage will help make sure Disney PhotoPass is set up correctly and make sure you get the family photo you wanted.
Hopefully, this will fix whatever issue was going on for some Guests. Disney has always been amazing in addressing issues like this.
It’s easy to link your photos to your Disney account! You can use your MagicBand, Disney PhotoPass card, theme park ticket, or annual pass. When you wear your MagicBand to the park, your attraction photos will even be automatically linked to your account.
Do not forget that right now until May 17th you can buy MemoryMaker for $169.00 and access all the Photos until June 17, 2021
We love PhotoPass and enjoy the ride photos. Our favorite though is walking through the parks and getting the various shots. Our favorite Disney World Attraction Photo Pass now is the Millennium Falcon with the Porg. Mickey at the Castle hub, and Orange Bird at the front entrance to Epcot in front of Spaceship Earth.
What are your favorite PhotoPass shots? Drop some of your favorites on our Facebook page in this articles link.
When Walt Disney World reopened last summer, there were some changes to how guests could see characters at the parks. Instead of meet & greets and parades, the parks introduced Character Cavalcades.
Characters show up in the parks randomly throughout the day for little mini parades. They wave to guests and pose for pictures as they make their way through the park.
The “Mickey & Friends World Tour” Character Cavalcade in Epcot will be coming to an end next month. May 4, 2021 will be the last day for the cavalcade. The cavalcade circled World Showcase for guests to safely see characters.
Now, guests will be able see Mickey and friends near the entrance to Epcot. These characters have recently appeared near the entrance for static socially distanced meet & greets with guests.
‘Assembled: The Making of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ is Now Available on Disney+. Go behind the scenes of Marvel Studios’ hit series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” with a brand-new, documentary-style special “Assembled: The Making of ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.’” A trailer is available now.
Streaming exclusively on Disney+ beginning tomorrow, the second episode of this groundbreaking series of documentary-style specials follows Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and members of the cast and crew as they take fans inside the making of the hard-hitting series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.” Viewers will learn how the roots of these two characters reach as far back as “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and the momentum has steadily built over their subsequent films. The creative minds behind the series leaned into these characters’ rich storylines along with the dynamic chemistry between Mackie and Stan as a launchpad for the series to explore the post-blip world while drawing inspiration from and coming to terms with the legacy of Captain America. The cast and crew will talk about the special alchemy they’ve developed for the series by blending genres from spy thrillers to buddy cop vehicles. The episode also showcases how the team filmed the high-flying, globe-trotting action, brought back fan favorites such as Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter and Daniel Brühl’s Baron Zemo, and introduced new characters into the mix.
Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the six-episode series also stars Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Adepero Oduye as Sarah Wilson and Erin Kellyman as Karli Morgenthau. New Set Photo Reveals Hawkeye’s New Super Suit and a First Look at Echo. Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye has finished wrapping and fans have been waiting to see a first look at the new costumes and characters coming to the series. Though we already knew Hailee Steinfeld was joining the cast as Kate Bishop, another character has been confirmed for the series!
Alaqua Cox will be making her debut as the character Echo on Hawkeye. Variety claims sources are reporting that Disney+ is planning a future series for Echo as a lead character. The civilian name of the new Marvel character is Maya Lopez.
Maya Lopez, aka “Echo,” is a Native American who was born deaf, but also has photographic reflexes akin to the skill used by Marvel Comics villain Taskmaster. Her ability to perfectly copy another person’s movements or fighting style makes her a formidable opponent in battle. She has a Marvel Comics history with both Clint Barton’s character and the Avengers.
“Hawkeye, which debuts on Disney+ in late 2021, stars Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, who teams up with another well-known archer from the Marvel comics, Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld. The cast also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Hawkeye is helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie.”
Universal Orlando Resort shares details about the Velociraptors within its most thrilling coaster yet – Jurassic World VelociCoaster – in advance of the thrill ride’s debut on June 10 at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
From the moment they enter the attraction, riders will be confronted by Velociraptors from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s blockbuster “Jurassic World” films – including fan-favorite Blue, along with Charlie, Delta and Echo – as they prepare to join the hunt alongside the ferocious pack in an epic, high-speed coaster chase. Here are some of the jaw-dropping encounters that await guests in this new species of roller coaster:
Guests will be able to peer into the Raptor paddock while venturing through the queue – and watch the hunt they are about to embark on unfold before their very eyes. Red flashing lights and a loud rumble will draw guests to a collection of adjacent windows, where they’ll witness the physical coaster roaring by at exhilarating speeds of 70 mph with the Raptor pack in hot pursuit.
Next up in the queue are the stables, where the scent of wet dirt and vegetation from the paddock permeates the air, meaning one thing – Velociraptors are near. Here, they’ll come across Delta and Echo, who will scan the room, studying riders as they pass by – occasionally testing the limits of the grooming stations currently restraining them. This awe-inspiring moment will be the first face-to-face encounter guests will have with the Raptors – and they’ll be so close, guests will even feel their breath.
Then, the hunt officially begins as guests board ride vehicles and take off on an intense coaster adventure where they’ll narrowly escape Blue, Charlie, Delta and Echo as they twist, turn and soar through the paddock.
And those are just the highlights; even more thrills and surprises await guests in Jurassic World VelociCoaster.
Opening on June 10 at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Jurassic World VelociCoaster will become the ultimate coaster for thrill enthusiasts and the “must-ride” theme park experience of 2021. The original cast from the movies – Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong – reprise their roles as Owen Grady, Claire Dearing and Dr. Henry Wu in the thrilling new attraction, which sends guests on an extreme adventure through the Raptor paddock and beyond with the films’ Velociraptor pack. Riders will scream through a series of unbelievable near-misses and maneuvers, including two high-speed launches – the fastest reaching 70 mph in 2.4 seconds – a total of 12 seconds of weightlessness, a barrel roll just inches above the Islands of Adventure lagoon and the signature “Top Hat,” which will send riders 155 feet in the air and then immediately into an 80-degree drop.

Comcast Corporation reported their first quarter earnings which ended on March 31, 2021. NBCUniversal theme parks reached breakeven for the second consecutive quarter, excluding pre-opening costs of Universal Beijing Resort. Universal’s new streaming service, Peacock will now also be included in the NBCUniversal earnings report. It was previously included in Corporate and Other. NBCUniversal will now be presented in three reportable business segments: Media, Studios and Theme Parks.
Theme Parks revenue decreased 33.1% to $619 millionin the first quarter of 2021, primarily due to Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Japan operating at limited capacity, while Universal Studios Hollywood remained closed during the quarter as a result of COVID-19. Theme Parks Adjusted EBITDA loss was $61 million in the first quarter of 2021, which included pre-opening costs related to Universal Beijing Resort. The Universal Beijing Resort is set to open later this year.
With Universal Hollywood reopening this month, hopefully we will see an increase in theme park revenue. Universal Orlando has a new coaster opening in June as well as a new park, Epic Universe in the works. While earning may be down the future of Universal looks up.

Guests will celebrate the timeless fairytale of Snow White in a whole new way when Disneyland Park reopens today, at the Disneyland Resort. Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, an original Disneyland attraction, has been reimagined with new magic in storytelling to bring together the beloved Disney Princess, the Seven Dwarfs, the woodland creatures, the Prince – and yes, even the Evil Queen – for the ultimate storybook ending of “happily ever after.”
“The Snow White attraction has such a rich history,” said Kim Irvine, Disneyland Resort creative executive, Walt Disney Imagineering. “We wanted to take into account the beautiful scenic work that has always existed and retell the story in a special way. We believe guests will enjoy this sweet storyline in a stunning experience.”
“You’re still going to feel a lot of suspense,” said Dave Caranci, manager of creative development, Walt Disney Imagineering. “The Evil Queen is still there outside the attraction opening the curtains. But there’s a warmer, inviting feel that’s drawing you inside and now it’s Snow White’s journey.”
Guests can expect to see Happy, Doc, Grumpy and more as they experience Snow White’s Enchanted Wish.
State-of-the-art audio and visual technology inside the attraction is enhanced with new music, LED black lighting, new laser projections and a new animation system.
More than 50 new animal and figure sculpts have been added throughout the attraction.
The newly named attraction blends fresh and familiar details, including new recordings in the queue voiced by the dwarfs Happy and Grumpy in English and Spanish, respectively.
Boarding a mine cart, guests travel through some new scenes of this classic fairytale, beginning with the dwarfs’ cozy cottage. Snow White twirls and dances with Dopey and the scent of Doc’s handiwork – a baking apple pie – wafts through the air.
Vibrant new shadow projections bring to life the dwarfs as they march happily off to work in the mine singing “Heigh Ho.”
The dazzling mine scene sparkles with shimmering lighting effects and glittering jewels. Guests can be on the lookout for Doc examining a jewel, Grumpy hoisting a pick, and Dopey grinning from a jewel-filled mine cart.
The den of the Evil Queen is surrounded by a library of spell books, a glowing cauldron and flasks bubbling with colorful potions, hints of how she concocted the poison apple.
Snow White’s enchanted wish comes true at last as she is awakened from her deep sleep by love’s first kiss, from her Prince. She reunites with her animal friends and joyfully rides off with her Prince toward a golden castle for her “happily ever after.”
The attraction’s brick façade is now painted in warmer pinks, lighter blues and gold colors to complement Sleeping Beauty Castle. In keeping with the architectural style of a European village, the exterior is bright and welcoming, with ornamental birds, butterflies and blooming flowers.
Guests still may see the Evil Queen spying on those below from a window above the entrance.
Snow White was Walt Disney’s original princess, debuting in the 1937 film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” which was Walt Disney’s first full-length animated feature. This attraction remains the only ride-through princess attraction at Disneyland park.
Take a look at the ride through of Snow White’s Enchanted Wish:
Yesterday, on World Wish Day, the Walt Disney Company announced a $1 million donation to Make-A-Wish. The announcement came as a part of a grand unveiling event for the highly anticipated Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Wish.
The name Disney Wish carries a powerful meaning, evoking all the wonder and optimism of a wish come true, presenting an opportunity to connect this timeless theme to the invaluable work Make-A-Wish does every day to support children with critical illnesses. This donation is earmarked to reach even more Make-A-Wish kids from all backgrounds, supporting Disney’s ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion.
“Making wishes come true is a big part of Disney’s DNA, and on World Wish Day, I want to say how proud we are to partner with organizations like Make-A-Wish,” said Bob Chapek, CEO of The Walt Disney Company. “When we join forces, we’re able to make magic happen and be a source of hope and optimism for others, and we look forward to working together to create even more special moments for deserving wish kids and their families in the years to come.”
Since 1980, Disney and Make-A-Wish have helped grant life-changing wishes for more than 145,000 children with critical illnesses around the world. Historically, one out of every two wishes granted in the U.S. is a Disney wish, with many of these wishes involving visits to global Disney destinations and sailings with Disney Cruise Line.
“Knowing that Disney’s next cruise ship will be the Disney Wish, I can’t help but think of the countless children who have experienced the power of a wish come true to help them overcome so many challenges,” said Richard Davis, president and chief executive officer, Make-A-Wish America. “Make-A-Wish gives families hope when it matters most, and that hope is needed now more than ever. I’m grateful for Disney’s ongoing support to help us deliver even more joy and strength to families.”
To celebrate the lasting power of wishes come true, Make-A-Wish alumni, who have had Disney Cruise Line wishes granted throughout the last 20 years, were featured in the virtual production of the Disney Wish unveiling. These children and young adults represent the thousands of wishes that have been granted aboard Disney cruise ships.
The showcase concluded with a stunning rendition of “When You Wish Upon a Star,” performed by Disney on Broadway Star and International Performing Artist Syndee Winters who has a personal connection to Make-A-Wish.
“Make-A-Wish has a really special place in my heart,” said Syndee. “In 2010, my youngest brother Logan was diagnosed with a brain stem glioma, so he became eligible for Make-A-Wish. His wish was to go on a cruise, and Make-A-Wish made that happen … Now Logan is 16, and he’s beaten the glioma – and he is thriving. Any chance I get, I stop what I’m doing to meet a young child who is part of Make-A-Wish because it means a lot to me, and it did great things for my family.”
During her heartfelt performance, Syndee was joined by favorite Disney characters as images of Make-A-Wish alumni appeared on the ship’s large screen.
Every year, the global Make-A-Wish organization and supporters come together in celebrating World Wish Day on April 29, the anniversary of the wish that inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish. This year’s campaign, “Don’t Wait for Hope. Create it.,” stems from the fact that wish families have been some of the hardest hit by the pandemic. Feelings of fear and isolation are often felt deepest by the most vulnerable members of the population, including children with critical illnesses. Now more than ever, wishes can bring hope, joy and a sense of normalcy back into the lives of wish kids and their families.
