When Walt Disney World reopened last summer, there were some changes to how guests could see characters at the parks. Instead of meet & greets and parades, the parks introduced Character Cavalcades.
Characters show up in the parks randomly throughout the day for little mini parades. They wave to guests and pose for pictures as they make their way through the park.
The “Mickey & Friends World Tour” Character Cavalcade in Epcot will be coming to an end next month. May 4, 2021 will be the last day for the cavalcade. The cavalcade circled World Showcase for guests to safely see characters.
Now, guests will be able see Mickey and friends near the entrance to Epcot. These characters have recently appeared near the entrance for static socially distanced meet & greets with guests.
Anna and Elsa’s cavalcade also ended earlier this year. Guests can now see the Arendelle royalty in the Norway pavilion.
Which character appearance do you prefer? Character cavalcades or static appearances?
