Disney World Testing Fireworks at the End of June

Disney World Testing Fireworks

Disney World Testing Fireworks at the End of June. Obviously, Magic Kingdom has not done a full firework show in over a year. Nonetheless, July 1st is coming quickly, and Disney needs to make sure everything is in working order. It appears that Disney will be testing the fireworks over the course of a few days and have warned local residents.

Disney will be conducting tests on June 26th and 28th. The surrounding communities have alerted their residents to the testing. This has been confirmed by sources around the Disney Theme parks. We got news from a few sources who live off Ream Rd behind the Magic Kingdom and confirmed this.

Disney World Firework Showtimes now listed on Disney Website

Disney World Firework Showtimes

Disney World Firework Showtimes now listed on Disney Website. Yesterday we broke the news from Disney about the return of Fireworks to 3 parks. Firstly, Happily Ever After is returning to Magic Kingdom on July 1st. Secondly, Epcot is bringing back Epcot Forever and finally, Disneyland is getting a new show called Mickey’s Mix Magic. Now we know the showtimes for Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

According to the Walt Disney World Website calendar, Happily Ever After will be showing nightly in July at 9:15 pm. Disney also extended park hours for July until 10:00 pm. Epcot Forever will be showing at the park close at 10:00 pm.

Related: Fireworks returning to Disney this summer!

We have not heard any news or rumors regarding Dessert parties and if or when they will return. Also, reservations are pretty much gone for July 1st. We will personally be watching the Fireworks from the beach at Polynesian Resort.

Disney World Firework Showtimes

August hours have not been updated yet, moreover we do not know how the fireworks returning will affect Boo! Bash. In prior years, guests could get into the park a few hours early and could enjoy the fireworks at 9:00 pm. The time did go to 8:00 pm during fall hours.

Besides that, Epcot Forever the transitional show before Harmonious opens October 1st, is on the calendar for 10:00 pm. Which is park close time. I have not personally watched this show, but have scheduled a day to watch in august.

Physical Distancing removed from Disney World Website

Physical Distancing crowds

Physical Distancing removed from Disney World Website. In an ever-changing sign of the times, social distancing has been finally removed from Disney’s website. Furthermore, this may finally bring an end to us writing about it, after 22 articles. Without a doubt, this brings us joy and also means we are really seeing things return to pre-pandemic times.

When Walt Disney World Reopened last summer, after they had shut down for a few months due to the pandemic, the website had been updated with new health and safety measures. Including, temperature screenings, mask mandates, along with social distancing of 6 feet.

Related: Changes coming to Walt Disney World’s Health & Safety Measures

Physical Distancing removed from Disney website

Clearly, vaccines are working. We are seeing Covid cases drop across Florida and the country. It appears Disney is moving forward and removing the most enhanced safety measures because of the success rate. I, along with most people coming to Walt Disney World Resorts, are relieved to see the mask mandates gone in the humid Florida summer. We are all happy to enjoy the Magic Kingdom or Epcot without having to worry about pandemics or distancing.

Related: Social Distancing Markers Being Removed from Walt Disney World Rides and Attractions

As of June 15, Disneyland and Disney World have done away with most of the enhanced safety measures. We have seen that the busses and monorail have removed the Physical Distancing markers and barriers. If you walk around the parks or Disney Springs you do not see the floor markers anymore. Not only are we seeing transportation return to normal, but also ride queues and relaxation of crowd controls at indoor shows and restaurants.

Are you happy to see things return to “normal”? Or are you happy with the safety measures?

We expect to these changes to roll out site wide in the coming days.
