The Force is strong with you this Father’s Day and Amorette’s Patisserie has you covered. For a limited time you can purchase this new “I Am Your Father” petite cake. This cake features red velvet cake, cream cheese filling, dark chocolate mousse, and white and dark crisp pearls.
It’s only available until Father’s Day on Sunday while supplies last so make sure you hop on your X-Wing or vehicle of choice and head to Disney Springs. Amorette’s Patisserie is located in the Marketplace at Disney Springs near the World of Disney. Since they are limited I suggest getting there early. Happy Father’s Day!
Walt Disney World recently updated its face mask policy to allow guests to be in outdoor spaces without masks on and also allowed fully vaccinated guests to go without masks in most areas. Now, it looks like fully vaccinated cast members will also get to take off their masks!
Starting yesterday, June 18, Walt Disney World cast members that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no longer have to wear masks outdoors. Cast members working indoors, and those that are not vaccinated, will still be required to wear face masks. Face shields are also no longer required for cast members. That change happened June 11.
Face coverings are still required for guests while on Disney transportation (buses, monorails and the Disney Skyliner) no matter their vaccination status.
We can’t wait to see Disney cast members’ smiling faces once again!
Maya Grill reopening on June 24th at Disney’s Coronado Springs with an updated menu. Without a doubt, most news coming from the restaurants around Disney is all good. Along with the news of Maya Grill reopening, we have previously reported about Sabastian’s opening on June 24th. This is all in addition to our article about Ohana being announced for a July 9th reopening at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
We are pleased to report about Maya Grill reopening on June 24th with a new menu. Importantly, Signage around Coronado Springs resort has the new opening date posted even though the website still says Temporarily Closed.
Savor the flavors of Mexico at Maya Grill, serving dinner daily. Here, the essence of ancient Mexico greets you in a majestic dining room. Accented by the welcoming Mayan motifs of fire, sun, and water.
A glance at the menu reveals a delicious array of traditional platters and chef’s specialties like fajitas, shrimp tacos, and Yucatan roast pork. Follow your entrée with such sumptuous desserts as the coconut flan, Mexican chocolate panna cotta, lemon sorbet—or try a sampling of dessert shots.

Fall 2022 Disney Cruise Line itineraries are now available to see online! This includes the festive holiday sailings like Halloween on the High Seas & Very Merrytime cruises and the first fall season of the Disney Wish sailings. Bookings for these fall 2022 sailings will begin opening next week. Let’s take a look at the options!
In fall 2022, the Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will embark on guest-favorite itineraries out of Port Canaveral, Florida, while the Disney Dream continues to sail from Miami.
The Disney Wish will continue its inaugural season with its first-ever fall and holiday sailings, offering a series of three- and four-night voyages to the Bahamas, while the Disney Fantasy will offer six-, seven- and eight-night vacations to the eastern and western Caribbean.
The Disney Dream will take guests on four- and five-night Bahamian itineraries and five-night Caribbean cruises to either Grand Cayman or Cozumel, Mexico.
All sailings from Port Canaveral and Miami will include a stop at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island paradise outfitted for family fun and relaxation and brimming with special Disney touches.
‘Caribbean Cruises from San Juan
The Disney Magic will sail out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, for two special itineraries in early November. A seven-night southern Caribbean sailing will visit Antigua, St. Lucia, Aruba and Bonaire, while a following six-night voyage will feature stops in St. Thomas and Falmouth, Jamaica.
Baja Peninsula Voyages from California
Spooktacular sailings return to California in late September with Halloween on the High Seas cruises to the Baja Peninsula from San Diego. The Disney Wonder will host three-, four-, five- and seven-night vacations from southern California, allowing guests to celebrate the Halloween season at sea while taking in the mesmerizing beauty of Mexico.
Sailings to Bermuda and Canada from New York
The Disney Magic returns to New York in late September for a series of Halloween on the High Seas sailings to Bermuda and Canada. Guests can visit Bermuda’s pink sand beaches and colorful coral reefs on five-night vacations or set their sights for a special six-night cruise to the Canadian ports of New Brunswick and Halifax that includes a stop in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Vacations to Bahamas and Caribbean from Texas
The Disney Magic will visit Galveston, Texas, in late November for a variety of five- and seven-night Very Merrytime Cruises. Guests can experience the magic of the holidays on western Caribbean itineraries with ports of call that include Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Grand Cayman.
Halloween on the High Seas returns to Disney Cruise Line in mid-September through October 2022. On select sailings across the fleet, guests can dress up and join Disney characters in their Halloween costumes at Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party; enjoy themed food, beverages and crafts; and immerse themselves in a ghostly ship takeover with elaborate decor and a magical Pumpkin Tree.
From early November through December, the Disney Cruise Line fleet is decked from bow-to-stern with holiday cheer and entertainment during Very Merrytime Cruises. Holiday magic is unwrapped for the whole family with festive holiday decor, favorite characters in their finest holiday attire and a special visit from none other than Santa Claus.

Universal Orlando just dropped huge news regarding this year’s HHN 30, and we are excited, to say the least. Previously, Universal Orlando had only dropped information about 1 house, Beetlejuice. Hold onto your loved ones, because we have all the info about tickets and Jack.
Jack the Clown returns as the demented face of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights. As the world’s premier Halloween event commemorates its 30th year. Select tickets and vacation packages are now on sale inviting guests to stay, scream and save. HHN kicks off on Friday, September 3, and continues on select nights through Sunday, October 31, 2021.
The most notorious icon in event history, Jack’s return to HHN 2021 will be fraught with terror and fear. The pair, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the series also stars Daniel Brühl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker. ‘Percy Jackson’ Disney+ Series is on the Hunt for a Director. Fans of the Percy Jackson books, lovingly named “demigods”, have eagerly awaited any new updates regarding the upcoming Percy Jackson series coming to Disney+. In his monthly update, Author and Series Producer Rick Riordan shared that the show is continuing to move forward, and is now on the search for the perfect director for the series.
Riordan wrote in his post, “We continue to work behind the scenes, however, on many fronts at once, and everything is still moving forward. The big piece we are concentrating on now is finding the perfect director to join our team.”
Rick continued, “I am confident we will find the right person, but it is a complicated process that involves a lot of meetings, discussions, research, etc. The good news is, once we find that person, that seems to be the last major hurdle before we can get rolling on the project in earnest. Then, at last, we can start getting really serious about other aspects of the planning I know you guys care a lot about, such as the casting process. The pilot script is all set, however, and the season outline is in good shape. I cannot stress enough what a huge “win” that is, and it really did take the better part of fifteen months to get there. When this series moves forward (fingers and toes crossed, of course) I am confident it will be the show we’ve been waiting for.“
The only names tied to the Percy Jackson project at the moment are creators Becky and Rick Riordan. It is currently unknown when the series will begin filming or when it will premiere on Disney+, but with castings and crew hiring underway filming should begin very soon. The new animated Marvel series is set to premiere on Disney Channel and Disney Junior at 9 AM EST on Friday, August 6th.

And we’re celebrating important anniversaries around the globe – 5 years at Shanghai Disney Resort, 15 at Hong Kong Disneyland and soon 50 at Walt Disney World Resort!
As you can see, we have a lot to celebrate today, and we’re incredibly optimistic about our future.
