Watch the thrilling, brand-new trailer for Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings,” featuring Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), a young Super Hero whose journey of self-discovery unfolds in this never-before-seen origin story. Destin Daniel Cretton, the film’s director and one of the writers, is excited to bring Shang-Chi’s story to the big screen. “Shang-Chi’s main problem in his life is rooted in not knowing who he really is,” says Cretton. “He has to learn how to own every part of himself. If he doesn’t allow himself to look at all of it—the good, the bad, the light and the dark—and to own it all, he won’t be able to reach his full potential.”
Shang-Chi’s journey is told with stunning visuals, the MCU’s signature spectacle and displays of mind-blowing action, along with the talents of a diverse, stellar cast and a relatable story. Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings” opens in theaters on September 3.
Mickey shaped food is always a good idea! That’s why today we have a Mickey Cake Pops recipe you will love!
If you are a fan of chocolate treats, this one is perfect for you. Plus it looks super adorable! It’s made with a delicious chocolate buttercream mixed with the cake batter and covered in chocolate and sprinkles.
Want to try this recipe at home? Just follow these instructions and have fun baking!
Preheat oven to 350F, spray half sheet pan with cooking spray and set aside.
Into a large bowl using a hand mixer or the bowl of a stand mixer using the paddle attachment, sift all-purpose flour, cake flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Add buttermilk, water, oil, and eggs, and beat on low speed until combined; beat in vanilla.
Pour into the prepared sheet pan and bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate overnight. Crumble cake for use in cake pops.
To make Mickey ears: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and melt candy melts according to package directions. Drop 1 tbsp of melted chocolate at a time onto the baking sheet and smooth with the back of a spoon to make a round disk for Mickey’s ear. Repeat to make 20 ears. Let ears harden, 15 to 20 minutes. Set aside.
For chocolate buttercream: Sift cocoa powder and powdered sugar into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. Add shortening and beat on medium speed until coarse crumbs form. Add cold butter, one cube at a time, and beat until smooth.
To make cake balls: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl using a hand mixer or the bowl of a stand mixer using the paddle attachment, add crumbled cake and mix on low speed until small crumbs form, 2 minutes.
Add room temperature buttercream and mix on low speed until fully incorporated, 2 to 3 minutes. Add melted chocolate chips and mix on low speed until soft and most, 2 more minutes.
Form into 3/4 cup balls, and place on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
After cake balls are chilled, melt 1/2 cup of chocolate candy melts according to package directions and keep warm.
Assemble cake pops: Dip 1/2″ of a lollipop stick or boba straw in melted chocolate and insert the chocolate coated end into the center of each cake pop, about 1/2″ deep. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens, 20 to 30 minutes.
Decorate cake pops: Place sprinkles in a small bowl; set aside. Melt remaining chocolate candy melts according to package instructions.
Dip cake pops in melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off the bottom.
Dip in sprinkles and place parchment paper. Place ears on top before chocolate hardens.

The Disneyland Resort theme parks were closed for over a year due to the pandemic and state regulations. Disneyland laid off or furloughed thousands of cast members during the pandemic closure.
Disneyland officials say they expect to hire 1,000 cast members this summer.
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have not returned to full capacity and are still reopening in phases. On Tuesday Disney shared with us some exciting news for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. In case you missed all of the news stories we have them below.
Be Prepared for sensational news! The popular live entertainment show, Festival of the Lion King, is now seating every row at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney World has been making changes to its health and safety guidelines recently. One of those changes is the physical distancing measures. Physical distancing requirements are easing up at many areas of the resort. It also includes areas such as the entertainment locations in the parks.
Now “A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King” in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is reducing physical distancing and raising capacity. Being able to seat every will enable more guests to attend each showtime. Guests can delight in a Broadway-style show filled with songs and puppetry celebrating the classic movie, The Lion King.

Disney World’s fireworks are certainly a highlight for those spending a day at Magic Kingdom. We know many are eager to see the triumphant return of Disney fireworks next week. But it looks like we will see more exciting firework shows coming in the future! Disney has recently filed permits to install additional firework launching pads behind Magic Kingdom.
The permits at South Florida Water Management indicate where the new fireworks launching pads will be installed. To be specific, the permits do show the new sites will be behind Magic Kingdom near the Floridian Way road. Also, the permits do indicate these will be permanent installations, so they’re not temporary setups.
There’s no information available yet as to what kind of nighttime spectacular the new launching pads are intended for at Magic Kingdom. Even though we know Disney is opening a new fireworks show later this year, Disney Enchantment, these launch pads can serve a purpose to multiple shows.

One thing many fans might have overlooked is a big piece of news for those staying at the Contemporary Resort… Disney will be closing the Lobby during this refurbishment!
As part of this reimagining, we’re updating the Guest lobby and check-in experience at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort.
Beginning July 16th, much of the first-floor lobby will be closed while it undergoes refurbishment.
While many of the Guest services in the lobby area will remain open – including the elevators, escalators, restrooms and pathways to the Convention Center and bus transportation – the front desk will temporarily relocate to the second floor of the resort.
Once complete in late September, Contemporary’s lobby will feature an enhanced check-in experience offering an open, free-flowing layout with enhanced seating locations.
Also the resort’s lobby restaurant, The Wave… of American Flavors, will soon close to make way for a reimagined dining experience in time for the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebration.
