The design is very simple with a black color and artwork featuring Mickey and Minnie painting. The strap is bright red to add a pop of color to this fanny pack.
It features two compartments, the main one with a zipper on top and a front pocket with a hidden zipper.
Video: Fantasmic Testing underway in Hollywood Studios
Nighttime entertainment has been returning to Walt Disney World and we could not be more excited. Now, Fantasmic testing is underway in Disney’s Hollywood Studios which means we’re getting closer to the fan-favorite show returning!
Fantasmic has been closed both due to the pandemic and due to refurbishment. We recently shared that cast rehearsals have begun for the nighttime show and now Twitter user @DrewDisneyDude shared a video showing testing is underway.
“Fantasmic! testing is currently happening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Lights visible from park entrance and show music can be heard too!”
Disney has not shared an exact return date for Fantasmic but has said it will return in 2022. The Disney World website describes the nighttime spectacular as:
“Featuring more than 50 live performers, massive sets, stunning effects, dazzling pyrotechnics and rousing music, this larger-than-life show is painted on a grand canvas of dancing water and light like nothing you’ve ever seen. Overflowing with silly and suspenseful surprises, it will leave your entire family smiling from ear-to-ear!

On Saturday, Alcorn State, Delaware State, North Carolina A&T and Winston-Salem State marching bands served as honorary grand marshals in multiple parades at the Magic Kingdom. They thrilled guests as they traveled down Main Street, U.S.A., led by none other than Drum Major Mickey Mouse, who showed off his own show-stopping moves in his signature marching band uniform.
Each marching band showcased all the elements that make an HBCU band so unique – precision marching mechanics, high-energy dance teams, regal drum majors, and the unmistakable sounds of chart-topping R&B music.
Then on Sunday, the same marching bands put on a high-steeping show during HBCU Week Battle of the Bands at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
It was a friendly but fierce battle of the bands event that included an exciting pre-show performance from none other than Drum Major Mickey Mouse, who dazzled the crowd with his moves.
The parade of bands at Magic Kingdom Park and Battle of the Bands at the sports complex were a part of HBCU Week at Walt Disney World. The event featured a host of activities designed to promote HBCU enrollment, including a huge college fair offering on-the-spot acceptance and millions in scholarships.
HBCU Week was held for the first time in its five-year history at Walt Disney World in collaboration with the HBCU Foundation, Walt Disney World and Disney on the Yard, an initiative focused on deepening Disney’s engagement with HBCUs. Students interested in applying for additional scholarships can visit www.hbcuweek.org for more information about scholarship eligibility, future events and more.
Disney’s Rapid Fill Cups have jumped an additional $2 each across the Walt Disney World Resort. These refillable cups allow refills for the entire length of your resort stay and are a fun keepsake to take home with you after your vacation.
Guests who purchase the Rapid Fill Cups can enjoy refills of Fountain Drinks, Coffee, and Tea at any resort’s self-service beverage location for the entire length of their resort stay for $21.99 a $2 increase of the original price of $19.99.
There is no word on why the price increase on the refillable cups, (I imagine it’s due to inflation) pretty much everything at Walt Disney World has already received or is going to see a price increase very soon.

San Diego Humane Society and shopDisney Share the ‘Howl-o-ween’ Spirit

Disney raises the prices for Lightsabers & Droids at Walt Disney World
Guests wanting to build their own lightsabers & droids at Walt Disney World will need to expand their budget for both of those activities. Disney has raised the prices for both Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers and building a droid at Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Both of these experiences are available in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They both need to be booked in advance and guests must have a reservation in order to participate.
At Savi’s Workshop, guests can build their own lightsaber. This experience has increased from $219.99 to $249.99. The Walt Disney World website describes the experience as:
“Meet one of Savi’s Gatherers outside his workshop, where you’ll choose one of 4 available hilt themes and receive a cloisonné pin to identify your selection. Themes include:
Peace and Justice Salvaged scraps from fallen Jedi temples and crashed starships in these Republic-era designs honor the galaxy’s former guardians.
Power and Control Originally forged by dark side warriors, this style features rumored remnants from the Sith homeworld and abandoned temples.
Elemental Nature This theme embodies the Force—an energy created by all living things, like Brylark trees, Cartusion whale bones and Rancor teeth.
Protection and Defense Hilt materials bear mysterious motifs and inscriptions that reconnect users with the ancient wellspring of the Force.
The Gatherers will now help you select the heart of your lightsaber—the kyber crystal, which is available in red, blue, green or violet.

Finally, the Gatherers will masterfully connect your hilt to a 31” lightsaber blade so you’re ready for anything the galaxy puts in your path!”
The Droid Depot experience allows guests to make a custom-built astromech droid and has increased from $99 to $119.99. The experience is described as:
“First, register your choice of the BB-series unit or R-series unit with the clerk, who’ll provide a basket and blueprint for parts. Next, proceed to the following stations and begin your droid-building experience.

These price increases are just the next in a list of increases Disney implemented yesterday. Disneyland ticket prices, Capture Your Moment photo session pricing, and the Disney Genie+ price at both resorts have been increased.

Angela Lansbury, ‘Murder, She Wrote’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ star, has passed away at age 96.
“The children of Dame Angela Lansbury are sad to announce that their mother died peacefully in her sleep at home in Los Angeles at 1:30 AM today, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, just five days shy of her 97th birthday,” her family said in a statement.
The actress had already enjoyed a long and successful career when she took on the small-screen role that many Americans will remember most — as mystery writer and amateur crime fighter Jessica Fletcher on the CBS Sunday night hit “Murder, She Wrote.”
Born in London, England, on October 16, 1925, Angela began to study acting at the Webber-Douglas School of Dramatic Art until World War II forced her family to escape the London Blitz and emigrate to the United States.
In New York, she enrolled in the Feagin School of Dramatic Arts and, at 16, earned her first professional job performing in a Montreal cabaret act. Her family eventually relocated to Los Angeles, and, in 1944, director George Cukor cast the 17-year-old actress as the Cockney maid in Gaslight. The role not only won her a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, but also an Academy Award® nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
A year later, Angela received a second Oscar®nomination for her performance as a music-hall singer in The Picture of Dorian Gray.
In 1966, Angela won the first of her five Tony® Awards for her performance as Mame Dennis in the hit musical Mame. She dazzled Broadway audiences with her interpretation of the madcap title role, displaying, for the first time, the full range of her extraordinary talents. Angela made her musical comedy motion picture debut in 1971, mesmerizing audiences as the delightful apprentice witch, Eglantine Price, in Disney’s fantasy Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
Twenty years later, Angela returned to Disney for Beauty and the Beast, in which she sang the Academy Award-winning title song of the same name. She encored as Mrs. Potts in Disney’s 1997 direct-to-video sequel Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas as well as the video game Kingdom Hearts II in 2006. Angela later served as a segment host for the Studio’s millennial animated classic Fantasia 2000, introducing Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.
Angela’s achievements on stage, screen, and television are too numerous to recount, but include six Golden Globes and eighteen Primetime Emmy® nominations. She is the recipient of the National Medal of the Arts, the Kennedy Center Honors, and was named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 1994.
She is survived by her three children, Anthony, Deirdre and David, her three grandchildren, Peter, Katherine and Ian, plus five great grandchildren and her brother, producer Edgar Lansbury. We give our condolences to Angela’s family and friends.
Disney News Round-Up: Disney Genie Plus Price Increase, Disneyland Ticket Price Increase, Full Food Booths for Holidays, Angela Lansbury a Disney Legend Passes at 96. It was a tough day all around for Disney fans around the world. Price increases are always met with resistance, but adding Genie + increases on top of it was not received very well. Also, we lost a Disney Legend who may have been one of the sweetest human beings ever and played such an important role in any Disney Fans life.
Netflix is making two sequels to the hit action comedy film “Red Notice” that starred Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. Even producer Beau Flynn has revealed that development is moving fast on the production of both projects.
Reynolds, Johnson, and Gadot are expected to return for both sequels. The trio will be working together to pull off further heists, which may be complicated by the fact that they are all fugitives with red notices over their heads. Red Notice 2 will likely take off where the first film ended, which saw the trio eyeing the Louvre Museum in Paris. What they are after – and whether they can trust each other or not – remains to be seen.
The first film set an opening day record on Netflix, gaining more viewership than a film ever had on its premiere date. It continued to nab other records, ultimately rising to become the most-watched film on Netflix within 28 days of its release.
Written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, “Red Notice” stars Dwayne Johnson as an FBI agent who is forced to team up with a thief played by Ryan Reynolds in order to best another thief, played by Gal Gadot. Thurber is currently writing the sequels, according to Deadline, which first reported the news.
