U.S. military members can enjoy great rates at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels for stays most nights from January 1, 2023, through December 15, 2023, when they book by December 15, 2023.
This offer is for active or retired US military personnel, including active or retired members of the National Guard, Reservists, the US Coast Guard, the US Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Spouses of Military Service Members also qualify if they are able to present valid and active US Military IDs in the absence of active or retired Military Personnel or Commissioned Corps Members.

Disney World Introducing Park-Specific Ticket Pricing Coming December 8th
Disney World will be rolling out Park-Specific Ticket Pricing starting on December 8th, 2022.

In August, Walt Disney World rolled out updates to the Disney Park Pass system which allows guests to modify their theme park reservations and book with different admission types. As we continue to focus on providing guests with the best, most memorable Disney Experience, we wanted to share an update about what’s ahead, beginning with some changes coming on Dec. 8th.
Beginning Dec. 8, Walt Disney World will introduce park-specific pricing on 1-day, 1-park tickets. Moving forward, guests will select a date and theme park before purchasing their ticket. When you purchase a 1-Day ticket for a specific date and theme park, a theme park reservation will automatically be made at the time of purchase.
This change is only for those who purchase 1-day tickets for a specific date and park. Most guests will continue to make theme park reservations.
With the new park-specific pricing, Magic Kingdom Park will be priced at or above our other theme parks due to the incredible demand, as it remains the most-visited theme park in the world. A 1-day ticket for a specific date and park will range from:
Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $109-$159 (same range as today)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $124-$179
EPCOT: $114-$179
Magic Kingdom Park: $124-$189
Note: The $189 price point is specifically for the week of Christmas to New Year’s.
Park Hopper Add-on
On Dec. 8, we will update pricing on select add-on options, including the Park Hopper Option and Park Hopper Plus Option.
Annual Passes
On Dec. 8, Annual Pass pricing for the Incredi-, Sorcerer, and Pirate Annual Passes will increase between $43-100. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass will remain at its current price.
The Disney Pixie Dust Pass remains available for purchase, as our other three Annual Passes remain unavailable for new sales for the time being as we stay focused on our current Passholders. As a reminder, All Annual Passes continue to be available for renewal.
Disney Cruise Line Takes Top Spot for U.S. News 2023 Best Cruise Lines
Disney Cruise Line has taken the Top Spot for Cruises for Families in the U.S. News 2023 Best Cruise Lines!
The 2023 rankings highlight 17 cruise lines to help every type of traveler find the cruise that’s right for them. For the first time, Virgin Voyages takes the No. 1 spot in the Best Cruise Lines for the Money ranking, offering the best value among cruise lines. U.S. News considered the overall cruise line quality and average base fare per night, as well as extra benefits such as free gratuities, Wi-Fi access and all-inclusive package options. Carnival Cruise Line, known for its budget-friendly fares and frequent sales, and Celebrity Cruises, which offers a more upscale experience at reasonable rates, rank No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
For the ninth consecutive year, Disney Cruise Line is the Best Cruise Line for Families. The family-oriented line offers ships with character meet-and-greets, themed dinners, nighttime fireworks, waterslides, and more. Royal Caribbean International comes in at No. 2, thanks to its onboard amenities that cater to guests of all ages, while Carnival Cruise Line ranks No. 3, offering family-friendly perks like water parks, basketball courts, and ropes courses on its ships.
“After more than two years of sailing restrictions and limited voyage options due to the coronavirus pandemic, cruisers and cruise lines are excited to be on the seas again,” said Nicola Wood, senior travel editor at U.S. News. “The Best Cruise Lines rankings evaluate a variety of cruise types, making it easy for travelers to find the best options that fit their budgets, cruising styles and desired destinations.”
U.S. News ranks cruise lines in six categories: Best Cruise Lines for the Money, Best Cruise Lines for Families, Best Cruise Lines for Couples, Best Cruise Lines in the Caribbean, Best Cruise Lines in the Mediterranean and Best Luxury Cruise Lines. The rankings follow a comprehensive, transparent methodology that factors in expert evaluations of ship quality, traveler ratings, health assessment results and more.
Disney Cruise Line In Person Assembly Drills Returning
Disney Cruise Line will be reinstating in person assembly drills soon. Prior to Covid-19, guests sailing on Disney Cruise Line would attend an assembly drill onboard the ship on embarkation day. When the cruise line resumed sailing after Covid-19, the drills were done virtually.
“We regularly review our processes and have made the decision to reintroduce the in-person assembly drills. All Guests will be required to report to their assigned assembly station in person at the scheduled time on embarkation day, beginning on the following sailings:
Saturday, Nov. 12: Disney Dream & Disney Fantasy
Monday, Nov. 14: Disney Wish
Wednesday, Nov. 16: Disney Wonder
Sunday, Nov. 20: Disney Magic
This transition will ensure all Crew Members and Guests are fully aware of our safety procedures in the event of an emergency. The DCL Navigator App will continue to notify Guests of their assigned assembly station, provide directions for getting to their location and share additional safety information with Guests.”

Santa Claus Motorcade rolls through Hollywood Studios
The Santa Claus motorcade has returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the holiday season! The motorcade is led by elves dressed in festive holiday outfits carrying gifts.
Santa Claus himself rides in a red car decorated with garlands, ornaments, a green “S” on the side, and giant presents inside! He waves to all of the girls and boys as he rides through Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Sleigh A Cappella Performing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
As part of the holiday season at Walt Disney World, Sleigh A Cappella is now performing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The group is performing on the stage in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Sleigh A Cappella performs 5 times per day and each show is about 13 minutes long. The group sings various Christmas classics, like “Frosty the Snowman” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” as well as modern Christmas songs like “Santa Tell Me” by Ariana Grande.

First Look at H.E.R And Josh Groban on ABC’s Beauty and the Beast ABC Special
The Wonderful World of Disney and ABC have released the first look of its upcoming Beauty and The Beast special starring H.E.R. and Josh Groban.
Josh Groban, who previously recorded a song for the 2017 “Beauty and the Beast” live-action movie, will play the baneful Beast. Tony- and GRAMMY-nominated acclaimed Broadway star Joshua Henry has been tapped to play antagonist Gaston, while EGOT winner and legend Rita Moreno will serve as the night’s narrator, taking viewers on a journey through the classic enchanted tale. Presented by The Wonderful World of Disney, the highly anticipated two-hour reimagining of the beloved story of “Beauty and the Beast” will be taped in front of a live audience at Disney Studios and will air THURSDAY, DEC. 15 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on ABC and on Disney+ the next day.
As previously announced, five-time GRAMMY- and Academy Award®-winning singer-songwriter H.E.R. will play the role of Belle, with Jon M. Chu set to executive produce the special, and Hamish Hamilton set to direct. Additional talented cast, whose performances will be seamlessly woven through the original feature film, will be announced at a later date.

Why the Food & Wine Classic needs to be on your radar for next year
We had an amazing evening when we were invited to taste some of the food and wine at this year’s event at the Swan and Dolphin Resort.
With dishes from some of our favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World, the Classic offers some of the best food available. Also, it is all you can eat. Shula’s, Todd English Blue Zoo, Picabu, and Kimono are just some of the restaurants that will have booths and food available. Furthermore, you can meet an all-star line-up of award-winning chefs including Todd English, a celebrity chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author.
Wines from around the world are showcased. Napa Valley, France, Japan, and Italy just to name a few. Again, with your ticket to the classic, you can taste all these wines. The Classic offers Wine Tasting classes and The Grand Tasting is a Master Sommelier-ledexperience including a Champagne reception, 3 flights of elite wines, and Chef’s Table menu pairings with an Executive Chef.
Sample fine wine, beer, and spirits from around the world. This is a great opportunity to sample beverages you may not have thought to try before. There’s also plenty of sweet treats available for guests to taste!

Holiday offerings are coming to Pirates Dinner Adventure Orlando. Santa’s sleigh brought him all the way from the North Pole to Central Florida to celebrate the holidays at Pirates Dinner Adventure! If you’re looking for a new tradition the whole family will love, get ready for a jolly good time and a swashbuckling adventure.
Starting Nov. 25, Pirates Dinner Adventure will be spreading Christmas cheer with special holiday offerings through Dec. 31. Guests can experience the action, romance and excitement of the classic dinner show with a holiday overlay featuring Christmas music and a ship-side visit from a special guest at the end of the show.
