Jared Leto had previously announced on several occasions that he would be playing a character named Ares in the upcoming film and even revealed the film’s title as Tron: Ares in a deleted tweet from 2020.
The Tron: Ares script is written by Jesse Wigutow and is considered the sequel to Tron: Legacy, which was directed by Top Gun: Maverick‘s Joe Kosinski.
I am a huge fan of Tron so I can’t wait to see Tron Ares!

Epcot’s Festival of the Arts is in full swing. One of my favorite art displays to enjoy during the festival is the chalk art drawn by amazing artists. If you’re lucky you may even get to catch one of them at work.
Artists at Work
If you would like to check out these works of art you can find a complete chalk art gallery just before you enter World Showcase. As you are crossing the bridge be sure to look off to your right and your left. The displays can change due to rain or other conditions so there will always be something new to see.
Forced Perspective Chalk Art
On the left side, we spotted a forced perspective chalk art featuring “Raya and the Last Dragon”. This type of chalk art seems to come to life depending on the viewing angle. Be sure to pull your camera out and snap a picture to see the full effect.
The images look a bit strange and stretched out on the ground but when you take a picture with them it comes out looking as if the art has come to life and popped up around you.
On the right-hand side, we saw several chalk art drawings based on classical artworks alongside the fun Disney character ones. You have to really appreciate how they create light and shadow to really bring the chalk art to life.
Kids Can be Artists too
There is even an area for kids to get creative. Cast members hand out chalk to kids and encourage them to unleash their creativity.
Disney CEO Bob Iger visits Walt Disney World and Thanks Cast Members for Everything They Do!
This week Bob Iger was spotted at Walt Disney World. He was spotted walking around the parks with Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro, and Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle.

We just love how personable Mr. Iger is. He always stops to talk with guests/cast members and to grab a photo. Unlike his predecessor Bob Chapek, you would hardly ever see him at the Disney Theme Parks.

This Princess Jasmine Collection is gorgeous! We recently spotted a few pieces at Magic Kingdom and fell in love with them, they feature black, white and gold tones plus our favorite fearless princess and her best friend Raja, take a look:

Look for the Annual Passholder Magnet Distribution sign in front of the Creations shop. Get in line, show your Annual Passholder card, photo identification, and Magicband or Magic Mobile pass, and you’re good to go.
While previous magnets have been animated using the Passholder magnet site it doesn’t seem to be available for Dumbo at this time.

This year’s Dumbo Magnet seems a bit different from the previous years with its pink coloring. I also love seeing some of the classic characters represented.

This week Disney CEO Bob Iger, Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro, and Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle were spotted touring Walt Disney World together.
They even stopped to take photos with guests as seen by daniellemomt. She went on to say “This is the greatest moment of my Disney life!!!”

It is nice to see Bob Iger touring the parks. This is the first time Iger has been seen in the parks since his return as Disney’s CEO. There is no doubt he is checking on the various projects happening around Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts.
Disney News Round-Up: Characters Return to Pete’s Silly Sideshow, Magic Kingdom getting Cleaned, Bob Chapek made Bank in 2022, Epcot International Flower and Garden announced, plus a ton of new merchandise has come to Walt Disney World.
Space Mountain Exterior Cleaning Underway in the Magic Kingdom. With tons of dirt being moved around next door at the construction of Tron Lightcycle/ Run, the central Florida weather, and just time itself, the exterior of Space Mountain in Disney’s Magic Kingdom has become rather dingy looking. It does not help that the giant structure has a white exterior, so every bit of dirt shows for guests visiting the park to see.
Tomorrowland is about to be under a huge spotlight. Media from around the world will descend on The Magic Kingdom shortly when Disney’s newest Roller Coaster opens on April 4th, 2023. With that about to happen, Disney is on a cleaning spree, kind of like being a bachelor and cleaning the apartment prior to your date coming over.
We have seen The Magic Kingdom getting new carpet at Uptown Jewelers, the Seating area at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and the Tron show building all being fixed up. Now we can see Space Mountain getting power washed, and some new paint on the exterior.
Dip and careen into the inky blackness as a futuristic soundtrack echoes all around you. Fly past shooting stars and celestial satellites. Roar past streaking orbs of light, wayward comets and migrant meteors. Feel the pull of gravity as you’re drawn into a swirling wormhole!
Blast off on a rip-roaring rocket into the furthest reaches of outer space on this roller-coaster ride in the dark.
New Carpet Installed in Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom. It is the little things at Disney’s magic kingdom that are often overlooked, most of the time they are right underfoot. This time literally. In a continuing series of articles about Disney World cleaning up its act, Disney has installed new carpeting at one of the highest trafficked stores on property, Uptown Jewelers.
The Magic Kingdom recently has been on a cleaning and updating spree. With the grand opening of Tron Lightcycle/ Run due on April 4th, 2023, and the Worlds media Eye about to descend on the Park, there is no better time for all these fixes.
Uptown Jewelers – This quaint shop has it all—from the fine gems and charms of the Disney Parks Collection by PANDORA to gorgeous handbags, watches, Disney figurines, and artist sketches, including The Art of Disney on Demand!
Recently Disney also repaired and reupholstered the seating area at The Plaza Ice Cream parlor, they are power washing Space Mountain and Tron Lightcycle buildings. We love seeing Disney taking care of things that no one notices until they are really dirty, or people are looking for clicks and point out.
