Welcome, Foolish Mortals, to the Haunted Mansion!
Fans of the beloved Disney theme park attraction will excited to hear new details about the upcoming Haunted Mansion movie.
According to One Take News, Jared Leto has joined the cast of Disney’s upcoming Haunted Mansion and will play Alistair Crump/The Hatbox Ghost. The Hatbox Ghost will reportedly be a CGI character with Jared Leto’s voice, but the living mortal form of Alistair Crump will be Jared Leto on screen.
Also, Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) has signed on to play Madame Leota, so this movie is packed with numerous movie stars!

Below is a synopsis of the upcoming movie:
In this mysterious adventure, a doctor (Dawson) and her 9-year-old son (Dillon), looking to start a new life, move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans, only to discover that the place is much more than they bargained for. Desperate for help, they contact a priest (Wilson), who, in turn, enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert (Stanfield), a French Quarter psychic (Haddish) and a crotchety historian (DeVito).
Walt Disney Pictures’ “Haunted Mansion,” is based on Disney’s classic theme parks attraction and starring a star-studded ensemble cast.
The film stars Owen Wilson, Rosario Dawson, Danny DeVito, Tiffany Haddish, and LaKeith Stanfield.
Haunted Mansion will be released in theaters March 10, 2023.
