Standby Queue for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland Starting Tomorrow
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland will no longer use a virtual queue starting tomorrow, February 22. Instead, the attraction will offer a regular, standby queue along with the Individual Lightning Lane option.
Through today, guests can access Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway by either virtual queue or by purchasing Individual Lightning Lane. The virtual queue was available at 7 am and again at 1 pm. Starting tomorrow, the virtual queue will be discontinued but can be brought back at any time.
Guests will have access to a regular standby line for the attraction. If they’d like to skip the regular line, they can purchase Individual Lightning Lane. Today, the price for that was $20 per guest.

Marvel’s Jeremy Renner Shares Rehab Video After Accident. The Actor who played Hawkeye in the Marvel Avengers series and had his own Disney + Spin-off series is lucky to be alive after having a horrific snow plow accident earlier this year. Fans have rallied behind the actor sending well wishes and trying to show their love for the actor. In return, Jeremy Renner has kept everyone in the loop on his recovery.
From a Deadline report, “The actor posted a video on Saturday of his leg receiving electro-therapy treatment, part of the regimen attempting to heal more than 30 broken bones sustained in the January accident.
“Electric, stimulation, workout out and muscle strength,” the text read over the video of him using a device that may be used to treat various muscle issues and pain.”
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Reopening Spring 2023. This week we are due to have record temperatures here at Walt Disney World Resorts. When it gets this hot around here the best way to cool off is to hit up Disney’s Water Parks. So it was good news today when Disney announced that H2O Glow parties would be returning to Typhoon Lagoon.
“But that’s not all! Grab your neon swimwear and get ready for some glowing tropical fun! We are excited to announce that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will reopen this spring and along with it, H2O Glow After Hours will be back and ready to “light” up your summer. “
No word on the exact day, just this spring. When we get an exact date we will pass that along. Presumably, it will be open prior to the first night of the After Party which is on May 20th, 2023.

New EPCOT After Hours Event and the Return of H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon
For the first time in forever, guests can experience EPCOT for three glorious hours for an all-new After Hours Event!
Disney After Hours Events are a specially ticketed experiences that occur after the gates close for the night, extending access to favorite attractions and providing you with more opportunities to have a magical Disney experience.
Your event ticket also allows you early entry into the park beginning at 7 p.m. Best of all, the number of tickets for these events is limited, which means lower wait times for some of your favorite attractions.
Here are the details for the EPCOT After Hours Event:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios, one of the most popular Disney After Hours experiences, is adding more dates for you to take control of the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, ride through a cartoon adventure in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, play like one of Andy’s favorite toys in Toy Story Land and more.
These fan-favorite experiences are scheduled to kick off May 20 at Typhoon Lagoon and June 1 at EPCOT. They join Magic Kingdom Park, running through March 27, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, currently running with additional dates being added beginning May 3. They offer a different way to experience the Disney magic!
Event tickets for EPCOT, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be purchased by all guests starting March 3, 2023, with prices ranging from $75 to $149 (plus tax). Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin purchasing Disney After Hours tickets for EPCOT and Typhoon Lagoon as early as February 28. The advance-purchase window is available to guests at Disney Resort hotels and Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, as well as Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort.
VelociCoaster, the popular double-launch coaster at Islands of Adventure, has finally been added to Universal Express Pass
VelociCoaster fans received some great news this week with the announcement that the popular coaster has been added to the Express Pass offerings at Universal Orlando Resort.
The addition of an Express Pass lane has necessitated some changes to the queue entry. Guests using Express Pass enter via the center of the queue, and immediately enter the central covered area. Guests using the standby entrance enter to the left and will generally be up in the outdoor area that was generally used for line overflow on busy days for the first portion of their wait. The entry to the right is for single riders. The standby and Express Pass queues merge at the locker area, while the single rider line does not join the rest of the queue until the boarding area.
We were able to check out the new Express Pass offering on 2/20 and found the wait in Express to be around 45 minutes, with a posted wait time of 105 minutes for standby. The addition of Express Pass has changed the operations at the ride a bit, so we should see these wait times start to drop as the team members adjust to these new procedures.
The addition of VelociCoaster to Express Pass leaves Hagrids Motorbike Adventure as the only ride at Universal Orlando that does not currently accept the skip-the-line upgrade.

Amorette’s Patisserie has introduced a new limited-time Soul Petit Cake as a part of Disney’s Celebrate Soulfully initiative during Black History Month.
Whimsical Decorations
This new petit cake is themed after the movie Soul. The movie’s main character Joe Gardner is featured on a fondant wafer decoration on top of the cake while edible music notes wrap around the top of the cake. Be warned though the blue ribbon at the bottom of the cake is not edible and must be removed as with most of Amorette’s cakes. It’s there for decoration only.
Now for the important part, the flavors. Chocolate chiffon cake, dark chocolate mousse, raspberry pate de fruit, raspberry mousse, and white chocolate crispy pearls make up this decadent treat. Amorette’s Cakes are deliciously moist and rich. While they are on the pricey side they are meant to be savored.

You can pick up the Soul Petit Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. It’s located right next to the World of Disney Store and just across the way from the Lego store.
The Soul Petite Cake will set you back $22.00 but you can truly consider it a “treat-yo-self” kinda moment!
Amorette’s also offers sandwiches, crepes, and a variety of bakery goods. You can find some seating inside and just outside the shop as well.
I always enjoy stopping by Amorette’s when I am at Disney Springs and seeing what new items they have. It’s a great place to grab a coffee or a treat and recharge from all the shopping.

Animal Shelter Calls on Paul Rudd to Adopt Look-alike Dog
An animal shelter in Tennessee is calling upon Ant-Man star Paul Rudd to adopt a pet that they believe bears a striking resemblance to the Hollywood Superstar. The dog named Paul Ruff is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix.
The Town of Collierville announced the proposed pairing via their Twitter, “While making love connections between pets and people today, we discovered one of our dogs is meant to be with Paul Rudd. Paul doesn’t have a Twitter handle, but @AntMan does. And honestly, what is more heroic than adopting a shelter pet?”
Since Paul Ruff arrived at the shelter, he has received seven applications for adoption, none from Paul Rudd. If you are interested in this adorable Ant-Man look alike, you can fill out an application on the Town of Collierville’s website and email it to [email protected].

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers has played its last period of Hockey on Disney+, having been canceled after only two seasons. The revival was highly anticipated, but it failed to connect with audiences. Mighty Ducks: Game Changers was one of two big shows to receive the axe at Disney+.
Big Shot starring John Stamos, was also canceled after only two seasons on the streaming service. Mighty Ducks: Game Changers stars Lauren Graham, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Julee Cerda, Taegen Burns, Kiefer O’Reilly, De’Jon Watts, Luke Islam, Bella Higginbotham, Naveen Paddock, Josh Duhamel.
The show’s star Lauren Graham, told Comicbook.com at the start of season 2, “It was really fun. And not that last year wasn’t fun, but one of the unique things about this show is it’s sort of like a movie, in that you do have a different premise every year.” The show has undergone casting changes in only two seasons when Emilio Estevez left the show over stringent protocols associated with production amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. You can stream all three Mighty Ducks films and two seasons of Game Changers on Disney+.

Rebel Wilson Gets Engaged at Disneyland. Rebel Wilson, The Australian actress, 42, and girlfriend Ramona Agruma personally thanked Bob Iger for helping the couple to get engaged at Disneyland over the weekend.
In a new Instagram post, Rebel Wilson posted she said “We said YES! 💗💗 Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring 💍 and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!”
