Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Opens
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is full steam ahead! This new animated-style attraction just opened in Disneyland Parks and cast members are just as excited as the guests to get this train on the tracks!
The attraction’s lead cast members Selina Gomez, Darian Jackson, Veronica Venzor, and Justine Carberry are pictured above and thrilled to be returning to their station in Mickey’s Toontown. Mickey’s Toontown closed last year while the area was under re-imagining and refurbishment.
“Toontown has always been a special place for me, it just feels like home,” said Darian. “Coming back, this is my legacy; it really is a piece of Disneyland history.”
Cast members were invited to celebrate the opening of the new attraction with an exclusive premiere and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“Getting to open Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway has really been one of the most exciting things to see come together,” said Veronica. “Seeing all the cast members from different lands come together … it’s definitely an emotional and proud moment.”

I experienced this attraction while visiting Hollywood Studios and I really enjoy it. It brings all my favorite characters to life in a way that most of us are familiar with through animated storytelling that’s both fun and entertaining.
